I have a problem with my G1 gaming, whenever i try to overclock it and make the slightest changes in the core clock or the memory clock, every game i try to play crashes.

Not a massive fan of this "like if you want to see x". It doesn't appear to make a difference, the video will be released anyway. I understand you want likes to boost your videos but if I like the video I will like it, if I don't I won't. It breaks the whole point of the like system to show the quality of the video when asking for them for something different.

Actually now that I think about it, I would be more likely to press 'like' if they just said "Every like really helps our channel grow and allows us to keep making awesome content. It is kind of a shame that AMD just released a whole line of new graphics cards (okay technically just two new ones and a whole line of refreshes, but still), yet instead of gettting info on those we're still getting info on the 980 ti that was released months ago. I understand that that card is a beast. I want to see what these brand new cards that I haven't seen much about can do.

Eduard Lomaxand that headset is same as mine, and its audio drives are really accurate and powerful. great micro and noise cancel. The price of the electronic comps forced Sennheiser to sacrifice some design aspects such as plastic screw covers instead of metal solid ones. Microphone´s three pieces config makes it fragile. BUT THAT sound!!!! transducers, Linus explained in a video that the kind of sound drives are most expensive one due to its double sided diaphragm

People have been liking the videos without a "we'll do another interesting video if you like this one but we'll do it anyway if you don't!", the whole "like the video if you liked it and dislike if you disliked it" outro was way more tolerable
ShadowMassacr13 i both agree and disagree with you. while I do think it is very annoying for yt's to be asking for likes, Linus and his group are different. especially since they ask for both likes or dislikes. I think the most important thing for them is your feedback. Or else how would they know they are bringing quality content that we want to see?
Sean Ayuso They could ask for comments/forum posts giving feedback about what other videos they should do and the like/dislikes can just be for the current video, I don't think using likes as an incentive for _other_ videos is good.

When Jay reviewed this the Titan X beat it by a small margin in almost every test. In your benchmarks it beats the Titan every time even at stock speeds. Interesting...

He had a stock GTX 980 Ti, that one is being beaten in this chart. The G1 gaming however has beaten the Titan X every time. Seems like you should only buy titan x for watercooling now
DiehlGames His TX was overclocked. An overclocked TX will still beat an overclocked 980 Ti.
TJD269 Unless you have exotic cooling like phase change, silicon lottery will make more of a difference in overclock than custom PCB. 1400 MHz is an easy overclock on a Titan X and Jay showed pretty clearly that a 1400 MHz Titan X will just slightly beat this card @ 1530 MHz.
DiehlGames G1 overclocked but from factory to say its stock is not really true. My Titan X EKWB cooling overclocked would kill it Lol

The buttons are different. Silent=Slow rpm and Stop=stop. Not sure how you didn't get that. Also, whats up with the "Click analyse to begin message"?

Theres a reason I use adblock and its because 1: I hate ads, 2: Because I dont EVER buy something that I see in an ad or commercial, therefore, there is no point in me not using adblock because they dont have any effect on me any way.

superguitarmaniac100 because its the better card and 12GB of VRAM. Yes yes - I can already hear the comments - ITS TOOOO MUCH! Same story we heard when 780Ti launched with 3GBs and lookie now :). If you want the absolute best single-card GPU, get the Titan. If you want a really really good GPU for much better price to performance ration and/or more silent solution (AT STOCK - which - if you run TX is sort of meh :D) and/or you don't plan to overclock yourself, get this or other variants of 980Ti. Simple.
***** If this card is clocking in at better higher speeds and crushing the Titan X on 4k by 10 to 15 frames per game, while also being 300 dollars cheaper, why wouldnt i get this 980ti? 12 gb vram is overkill and 6gb vram on this card is future proof enough for years since game devs are stunted to make really demanding vram games due to the current gens consoles
Brandon Ferreira True. But if you manually overclock the titan it will still beat this card. I suspect this is why slick played up the "boost up on their own" card. Titan X got wrecked in his review, but it was not a fair comparison. Nobody it seems cares for a 1000 dollar gpu.
Alfred Ortiz Correct. These guys are not stupid. Playing up the relatively affordable 980 ti and down playing a generally disliked $1K gpu, garners many more likes. To their credit, they didn't lie. They just didn't OC the stronger card. Impressionable youths that follow them will eat this farce up and spew it out as gospel. For shame LTT. Likes are worth more than getting down to the metal it seems. Still, it's solid info however misleading.
deenycest10710 Impressionable youths? You do realize in the graph they showed this 980ti at stock speeds and it was STILL regularly beating the Titan X at stock by about 5 fps, or are you blind?
It's mid 2017 and this is my card. It still stacks up very well, even against the 1080 and 1080 Ti. I'm excited to see the upcoming RX Vega.

The Joker uhm the fury x heats your case just as much as a 980 ti... the core is cooler cause water cooling but that doesn't mean the gpu magically produces less heat ;) thermodynamics n shit
The Joker The coretemp doesnt have anything to do anything with the heat the gpu produces per se... Low coretemps show that the cooling is good or that the gpu just produces less heat in general. I dont know which gpu produces more heat but i will assume that they are close to each other or that Fiji produces more heat. (www.hardwarecanucks.com/forum/hardware-canucks-reviews/69682-amd-r9-fury-x-review-fiji-arrives-7.html). So the only thing lower coretemps show is cooling performance. Naturally a water cooler will perform better then air cooling... So the heat in your case isnt better with a Fury X vs a 980TI. There are valid arguments for buying a Fury X. This isnt one of them. Just curious. When you ran the card, could you notice how loud it was? Just a rough estimate.
I don't think it's good idea to spend around 600 dollars for GTX 980 Ti and you've a Graphics Card it will do the same job with some differnce it's not worth to buy GTX 980 Ti the Graphics Card i'm talking about is GTX 970 I believe it's half price of GTX 980 Ti, GTX 970 it will work at least for 2 or 3 years then you gonna see new series of Nividia's Graphics Cards. GTX 970 will be the great choice for next 2 or 3 years, unless if you've money and you don't know where to spend it go ahead buy GTX 980 Ti

I've got to ask something, the overclocking doc says that with the gtx 760, the core voltage is 12 and when i go to overclock with msi afterburner, is has 12 volts is the highest setting it can go too. is 12 volts safe for the gtx 760 or not

I have this, it's an awesome card! The stop and silent aren't buttons, they are LEDs to let you know when it's in 0 DB mode
The colour of the 980ti looks so much nicer than the new coolers from gigabyte for the 10xx gpus.

Is there a way I can add my Titan X stats to your OC doc? I haven't played with Voltage but I have +210 on the core and +350 on the mem clock which brings me to a little over 1600Mhz and with the NZXT G10/H90 cooling this thing I never break 60c even when it's 32c ambient temperature outside the case.

GTX 980 Tis are selling on eBay for just ~$260 on average depending on model! I bought THIS G1 Gaming GTX 980 Ti in August of 2016 after Pascal and Polaris had launched, and won the bid for $355 shipped to my door! NOW I have it running at 1.218 Vcore (+34mw in Afterburner) to achieve 1503 MHZ core at ALL TIMES under load, and 8 GHZ effective VRAM for 384.4 GB/sec!
At this overclock, my 980 Ti EASILY BEATS ALL GTX 1070s IN EVERYTHING! And actually even manages to tie with or even beat a FEW GTX 1080 equipped rigs in benchmark comparisons! In fact, I posted my SteamVR Benchmark scores to LTT's "Post your SteamVR Bench results here" forum thread - and what surprised me quite a bit, was that I was beating ABOUT 50% of ALL results turned in by GTX 1080s! And the ones I did not beat, I either tied with, or at worst was just SLIGHTLY behind!
I think the 980 Ti actually does VR better than it "should" based on regular game performance - and it MIGHT have a LOT to do with that memory Bandwidth combined with the fact that the 980 Ti is a "Wider" GPU than the 1080, it has 256 more CUDA - so 10%, but then it has 50% MORE ROPs (Render Output Pipelines/Rasterization Output Pipelines/Pixel Pipelines) - where thr GTX 1080 has 64 ROPs, the 980 Ti has 96! ROPs are DIRECTLY responsible for a GPUs pixel output, at 1503 MHZ my 980 Ti is outputting 145 Gpixel/sec, meanwhile a GTX 1080 at 2 GHZ is good for 130 Gpixel/sec. So there is not only a memory Bandwidth disparity in favor of the 980 Ti OCed (1080 can usually hit about 350 GB/sec at best when OCed, whereas MOST 980 Tis easily hit 8 GHZ VRAM, which provides 384.4 GB/sec) - but also a SHEER pixel output disparity in favor of an Overclocked GTX 980 Ti like mine.
So I think that is why the GTX 980 Ti performs roughly the SAME as a GTX 1080 in VR especially when OCed like mine!

Im thinking about getting into 4k in around 2 years to save up money and get and upgrade for my cpu and gpu. Will the price in this card go down over two years to a good price and so i could buy it and save money, or will they're be gpu's at this cards current price better suited for 4k? Found it out in the meantime... but thanks anyway. Maybe this helps someone else. :)
One good reason for the added stop button on the card would be if you had to work inside of the PC while it is on, you could turn the fans off right there so your finger or any cables don't get in it.

my 980ti reference got to 1525mhz no voltage added ,and when added voltage it crashed ,my asus 980ti did the same thing crashed with voltage added ive got them both watercooled with ek blocks and backplates never get over 38 c

Steffen Fisker Being a Vessel user, the Taipei one came out a day or two after this one, (They both came out about two weeks ago) and there is like two weeks worth of content that hasn't come out yet over here.
It does seem that they are talking to their Vessel users now because every video on that timeline is correct.
Still waiting to see the video of Titan X's hybrid from EVGA. I recently exchanged 2 of Titan X SC for 2 Hybrid ones, the performance increase and temp drops have been phenomenal. I would really love to see the performance gain you guys got. Cheers

I was wondering if in theory it would be possible to load all assets of the game into a Titan X and have improved game response, such as loading times and render distance
