Lots of you have asked in the past about how we met, so this week here's that story, told in the place where it happened, The Frog and Catfish Restaurant in Krabi Thailand. Another question we regularly get asked is, "did I make a wedding video?" so I've included that too - Our Thai wedding. We got married in Aorn's village in Surin, Thailand and it was a Thai Khmer wedding ceremony.

OMG been watching your videos for ages, can’t believe you met at the Frog and Catfish. Was lucky enough to experience Bua and her family’s hospitality just over 2 years ago. Amazing place we will never forget! Lovely to see it again. I can just imagine her doing her matchmaking. A shame she’s moved on. Lovely video of your wedding too.

Great vid Darren. Brings back memories of my thai wedding 3 years ago, although my wife and l have been together 10 years now. It was an all day event with the ceremonies in the morning and a street party with a stage blocking the street at night where by the end of the night it seemed the whole village was in attendance. Was a great but sometimes overwhelming day, just like l'm sure yours was. Coincidentally we honeymooned in Aonang, Krabi.

We love your story; confused, unexpected and funny as life! Also very glad to see traditions with family...as Sin Sod. Thank you for sharing. You were an amazing sport. Your wife's family is what they call Khmer Surin. Thailand occupied a part of Cambodia and people assimilated to Thai culture. I am glad they kept the Khmer language and culture alive after all these years. You did well and so brave. I know it all seemed strange. I felt the same way going through my wedding which was very similar. You two make a wonderful couple.
Mama Bear - Anyone on the Thai side of the boarder is nothing short of lucky. Many, many people on the Cambodian side suffered tremendously in the recent past. And are still suffering.

aww I love this, I love the culture and you could just feel the atmosphere of the wedding through the video, i'm British but originally Arab, in my culture we give gifts to the bride's side aswell and vise versa but the majority of the gifts which is usually money and gold goes to the bride
