Let’s be real with the GT350 and now Z06 NA flat plain crank V8’s are American motors. The stazi of the EU eliminated Europe from contention. We are the victors again.
That is such a cool thing to think about how incompetent law making has basically handed N/A supremacy to American manufacturers on a silver platter. And it only seems right that large, buzzy, loud V8s should be made in the US anyway.
Gt350 was a joke of an engine sounds amazing had a shit firing order because ford didn’t want to use two throttle bodies so it rattles like a boat and I’ve had two of them explode “good friends of mine” one has the oil consumption issue and the other has the death knock
It’s a cool ass engine but it’s not a real FPC engine per say

What sort of HP gains does this exhaust provide and will you be making a track legal (92DB) system at some point? As I'm sure you know, this system will get you flagged for excessive noise at most tracks in the US;-)
Combined with our Sport Cats, we gained 30 WHP at 4600 RPM and 36 ft/lbs of TQ at 4600 RPM!
We have our Valvetronic Exhaust for a quieter solution that would help on those tracks.

@@ago7212 Unfortunately any DB reading we take would be arbitrary. Race tracks all record SPL differently, some even change their recording locations throughout the day. There are many factors that would affect SPL like temperature, humidity, geography, distance to measuring device, engine load, and many more. So, you see we could not take a reading and guarantee your car would not exceed our measured reading on any given track since there are so many variables.

I just got my zO7 c8. I need this. Is this a straight bolt on and no issues? Normal dealership can install this? Do you have to remove bumpers ?
Yes bolt-on installation, and yes you have toe remove the bumper to install.

It's hard to say, our best guess would be a bad wheel bearing but that is highly unlikely on a brand-new car. The owner has put over 2000 miles on the car since this video was recorded and he has not had any issues regarding that noise.

Can this kind of sound be achieved in a V8 camaro? Its a somewhat similar engine
A V8 Camera has a similar engine to the base C8 Vett. This Z06 has a completely different type of engine. Dual overhead cam instead of pushrods, and a flat plane crank instead of a cross plane crank.
Do you guys have anything that can make a Camaro SS get some nice high pitch? 😢
I think the only way to get a slightly higher pitch would be to go with 8-4-1 or 8-1 headers. Celeritech makes some 8-4-1 headers for the C6 Corvette that sounds beautiful imo
From that is Ferrari probably dreaming of , but sounding like a Ferrari would be a step backwards ! ❤️ the sound of a c is unbeatable , maybe not that of a c7 or 8
You can see the weakness of the c8 traction control system at 0:50 when he has to correct the steering after almost loosing it
TC is turned off, it is largely caused by wheelspin!
The car I saw, of which only two in the uk, had 345 section rear tyres, it must have insane power delivery to spin those

You know rather then having 4 individuals exhaust tips and instead combine them to one single I think that would match the car, kind of like a P1 exhaust.
