I've followed your tutorial, and in diskpart it does show that the OEM partition is now type "Primary" rather than "Reserved" but it still shows as OEM Partition in Disk Management & I can't apply a drive letter to it or interact with it.

You are welcome. download from hp site if available or copy the oem partition using some third-party software to your new disk and do the recovery. or boot from windows 7 and upgrade to windows 10 for free and then do windows 10 fresh install on new hard disk.

I have asus laptop and I cloned the hard drive containing the windows 10 OS OEM using EASEUS partition software. Then I boot from my cloned HDD and replaced the first HDD. But now I want to reset my OS to its factory settings and now I cannot boot to recovey environment. Could you do a full piece on ISCSI disks for us folks who have been overrun with malware that had used artificial intelligence and mad scripts to keep a guy constantly rebooting and formatting because he can't seem to get rid of this malware... even BIOS flash and CRTC Ram clear doesn't work. Somehow Boot X: partition that typically is the default partition for install media from CD/USB has been manipulated and in fact delivers malicious hives,payloads and bad BCD. It takes over all boot media from PXE, PCAT, VHD, Ventoy, CD-Rom it will print over or the boot X: drive just constantly supersedes. It elevated permissions and is like super Spyware only offering up few registry keys here and there. It doesn't need internet either it installs its own I swear it. It also infected 3 whole home networks already and probably more damage. But yes I need a solid class on ISCSI devices so that I can begin knowing how to remove potential backdoors, for some reason my device when updated drivers in windows 10 becomes ISCSI San-Disk 1000GB by visual name.. from the store it said 931gb San-Disk only and this has happened to several of my disks and I can't figure out how it always stays infected or reinfects. Only once in 3 months have I been able to momentarily break its grip on my devices and it just became infected unknowingly again, not sure if from Google drive or some type of hidden Huawei file safebox partition is hiding or in DOS-16 mode or something not viewable by diskpart but it keeps coming back and I'm at my wits end... this malware every forum or open channel describing it the technicians merely thought the person was inexperienced with the processes of windows. I am more than intimate with it and I can prove it. I would love to reach out by email or something to discuss it... it was initially a worm but turned into Bluetooth device seeking automated super intelligence and takes active snapshots of my devices and screen like as to take videos and snapshots the programs because it illicits bad downloads that are data changed from MD5 in real time or somehow swapped out in real time and it loves to use application hangs and it has a few different install "media copies" i call them... they copied initial boot media, kept an image of them attached to the USB port and it all reads in binary it's unbelievably powerful. I feel like maybe ISCSI needs to be removed from my hard drive somehow so it can't be connected to via my DNS or settings they have stored.. I'm only familiar with windows and can use it.. I'm not this in depth knowledgeable and not much videos to go through about it, mystical area of expertise

Hi, thank you for reply. Using NOVO button gives system recovery option. On original HDD it leads to various options. In cloned SSD, selecting system recovery option, just restarts the machine, because the recovery file has not been cloned by Aomei. Original 6 partitions. cloned 5 partitions.

Khaled, I had old machine with MBR partition style. Most new laptops have GPT partition style and they have long partition id. You might have bought Laptop with Windows 8 or Windows 10. you can download latest copy of windows 10 from microsoft's website and do fresh installation on SSD and you can safely delete 17GB partition. You can download latest drivers from Manufacturer's website.

Don''t worry about the windows key. If your laptop came pre-installed with Windows 8/10 then the Product key is in the hardware and windows installer will automatically read it from there and it will not event prompt you to enter the product key. I guess your laptop came pre-installed with windows 8.1 in that case the product key is in the motherboard. So, just download a copy of windows from manufacturer's website or from Microsoft's site and install windows. Windows installer will automatically take product key from bios.

What is the disk partitioning style MBR or GPT. I don't think physical damage will change the partition type.

If you are using Windows 10 then you don't need OEM partition.

Download Windows 10 from Microsoft and install it.

You can use external keyboard or F2 key to enter BIOS utility and launch boot menu from there
why you choose 7 for set id?

Firstly do in-place upgrade to windows 10 and activate windows. Then you can format and do fresh install.
I'm not able to hide it again, it says virtual disk service error the device is in use also it says to override the parameters
Ensure windows explorer is closed and add override parameter

Not sure how to fix NOVO button, but you can reset windows 10 from settings > Update & Security > Recovery > Reset this PC.

Download drivers from manufacturer's website. You can upgrade to windows 10 for free as support for windows 7 is ending soon.

i'm using Windows 10 and I want to upgrade my SSD NVme drive and it has 3 Hidden Partitions (Hleathy (EFI Sysyem Partition 300MB), healthy OEM Partition (962MB), and WinRe tools (OEM Partition 900MB)) I've assigned a latter for the EFI System partition but I cant access to to it and I can Hide it again.. please HELP... Also I have an OEM Partition On the Regular HDD Drive and it's 17GB... I'm so confused of what are these partitions and what do I need in order to recover my windows and drivers on my new SSD Drive... Knowing that I don't have USB adapter fro the SSD NVme drive
Khaled, I had old machine with MBR partition style. Most new laptops have GPT partition style and they have long partition id. You might have bought Laptop with Windows 8 or Windows 10. you can download latest copy of windows 10 from microsoft's website and do fresh installation on SSD and you can safely delete 17GB partition. You can download latest drivers from Manufacturer's website.
I wish to show you a screenshot of the mess I have.. but anyway the 17GB partition is on the HDD Drive.. I'm worried about the windows key though it's not written anywhere... and thank you so much@@itarmy2778
Don''t worry about the windows key. If your laptop came pre-installed with Windows 8/10 then the Product key is in the hardware and windows installer will automatically read it from there and it will not event prompt you to enter the product key. which partition you deleted? System Reserved partition or Windows partition or OEM that contains factory reset image?

Why are you installing windows 7. you don't have factory reset option?Even if you do fresh install it will automatically create system partition
You can use windows recovery to mark the C: drive as active then you can do bcdboot C:\Windows /s C:

how to extract OEM windows .iso image file from hidden partition 14Gb in size , but it doesn't say OEM...My OEM partition is 1000Mb in size which i doubt contains .iso file...

I just want to swap hdd bc my existing hdd is slowly failing , so i just need to extract OEM .iso then make a bootable usb and swap hdd and install it on the new hdd ...Is upgrade to win 10 really still available for free ?

I guess your laptop came pre-installed with windows 8.1 in that case the product key is in the motherboard. So, just download a copy of windows from manufacturer's website or from Microsoft's site and install windows. Windows installer will automatically take product key from bios.
