This is a great N scale layout! You have a little bit of everything. Just what a model railroad needs! Great scenery and details. Well planed and runs sweet! Just great! x 10!
Nice, nice, nice, so much detail. First i couldn't really believe it was n-scale. The wall in between, great idea. And nice music in the video. Greetings from the Netherlands. 👍👍👍
You have done a great job on your layout! In particular, it is obvious you spend considerable time and energy to create a smooth railbed. More than a step above "Well Done!".
well, what a fantastic layout, love the detail you have put on, the people on the cliff the swimmers. it all brings it to life. Thanks for posting and showing everyone.
Excellent work and an amazing layout. I'm about to start my own venture (D&H and NYSW themed), and your videos have provided exactly the inspiration I was looking for. I especially like the way you have angled the yard and town scene, rather than having it all parallel to the edge, and would really enjoy seeing a more detailed tour of the yard and diesel servicing areas if that is possible. Thanks for sharing!
Thanks! When I do another video (not sure when I would be doing one), I will try to show the yard and engine service area in more detail. If you're interested, the track that angles away from the edge is probably going at about a 10 to 15 degree angle away from the front edge. A lot of the trackwork on the entire layout was done on an angle to keep it from running parallel to the edges of the frame. I think that makes for a more interesting look for the layout.
The way you have incorporated the backdrops and the way the landscaping makes sense, this layout approaches realism like few others and is say this is what a text book layout looks like. A smallish layout with plenty of room to display small town Americana, but not so big it feels like a burden to build. I thoroughly enjoyed the trip.
Thanks! The Bat Signal actually lights up, too! Unfortunately, the video camera doesn't capture it very well when it is lighted or I would have included a shot of it all lit up.
I absolutely love your layout it's a beauty. I like n scale because it is just the right size. So much detail, yet it's all well place and not bunched up together.
@@bh1701 thanks for your reply.. I was there from 1973-76 when I was hit by a drunk driver on my motorcycle and couldn’t do my job any more due to my injuries.. it was a great experience though to be part of it.. I actually got the decals and made a N-scale yard engine for a SD-40.. looked great and it was the 54 yard switcher.. still have it somewhere.. anyway it was great to see that boxcar.. so thanks again..
Everything about this video is spectacular. It’s a great layout with wonderful details that provide a lot of visual interest. The camera work is top notch with creative angles, smooth panning and perfect on scene duration. Lastly, the selected music worked very well and set the proper tone and pace. Great job all around. This video is good inspiration to get back to my layout.
Took me awhile to figure out the mainline route, but I got there. Production Hint: Some viewers are more interested in layout and plan, so cater to us too. :). Good use of space!
I'm not into N gauge but the potential of N gauge in a small space is a huge plus. This is one delightful layout I really enjoyed it. I suppose behind the back scene is the train staging area.
Impressive, you’ve put in a huge amount of effort to layout. The streetscapes are wonderful. I’d love to see a video of the layout taken from a camera mounted on one of the trains,
@@bh1701 Thanks, I have now watched your cab ride video. It is very good and the inclusion of track side shots made it even better. What will do next to your layout ?
Thanks for the kind comments! The Batmobile is a 3-D printed model. I got it from a Shapeways vendor: www.jahn3d.de/ He has a ton of stuff available, but I do not know if the Batmobile is still available (It's kind of hard to search on the site, and I don't think he called it the Batmobile - probably for legal reasons). Painting the stripes and other details was quite a challenge. The Bat Signal was created using a searchlight that was pulled from a Bachmann flat car. It does actually light up! The switch to turn it on and off is underneath one of the AC units on the roof.
The Batmobile and the Bat signal are inspired whimsy! Love it!!
Fun layout and great music to go with it! Thanks for sharing it.
5 out of 5, I love seeing fully completed layouts.
Great layout! I love all the detail.
That is beautiful. Love how sophisticated it looks and compliments the room.
Oh, man... I'm lovin' those little easter eggs! :-) Great layout!

This is just an extremely well designed layout. Many great ideas here.

Awesome layout!!! Beautifully done. 10 out of 10 for me !!!👏👏👏👍👍👍👍
Wonderful work, I am looking at starting a train layout and seeing yours motivates me even more.

Very nice - got all the main things - countryside, industries to switch, stations, town, yard, ...
Very nice layout. Love all the details. And looks like a great track plan to just watch trains run but also to do a bit of operations.
Great layout, love all the little scenes
Just absolutely beautiful!!!
You have a mad skill set , but a GREAT layout .
Thank You for the view .

A simply beautiful layout! Love looking at it!
A great railroad Bart! A lot of action in the space. The highway overpass in front of the backdrop opening is especially effective.
Really nice layout. Wouldn't mind visiting there myself. Thanks for the video.
Nice layout... has great design and looks like a lot of fun...
This is excellent, and SO inspiring to a newbie like me
Good luck with your model railroading. It is a fun hobby!
I’m hoping the Bat Cave will be in the next layout extension… Awesome job!
The Bat Cave might be there, but for security reasons I cannot tell you where it is! 😀
@@bh1701 I completely understand! Hahaha;!!

Enjoyable to watch.
Very nice looking layout. Great scenery and content. Thanks for the video.
I love all the great detail. I really like the 1966 Batmobile at 2:24. Everyone should put Batmobiles on their layouts.
Enjoyed the detail and realism in track planning
That is one of the best layouts I've seen in a long time!, the detail on everything is amazing!. I loved the Batman spotlight!. Excellent job!.

Being an Ex-Toronto Hamilton & Buffalo Trainman from the 70’s I loved seeing the TH&B boxcar behind the locomotive.. thanks!!.. 👍
One of my friends worked for TH&B (not sure what years) and later BNSF. The TH&B boxcar was there for him, but I am sure he will share it with you!

Superbe réseau ferroviaire avec de multiples détails,et qui sort de l ordinaire .
Très beau travail de passionné 😺
Merci beaucoup ! Je suis ravi que vous ayez apprécié ma vidéo.
Totally AWESOME! I'd like to see the ride from inside the cab of the engine as the conductor/engineer would see it through the windshield.
I did make a cab ride video. See it here: ruclips.net/video/bEc-GISpWYA/видео.html
