It’s an amazing place. It seems I’ve barely scratched the surface in florida though.

Should you go back to Florida I would recommend Orlando Wetlands, Christmas. Great location for birding. Also on the Western side of Orlando - Circle B Bar Ranch, Lakeland is another favourite of ours when we pop over from the UK.

Loving your content Chris. Beautifully filmed, very enjoyable and just the right pace. I think I saw somewhere that you were using a Canon 400mm f2.8 with a 2x extender. That is an interesting combination. I’m guessing one of the big advantages is that it’s a fairly small and light weight set up? Which model Canon 400mm are you using and how do you find the image quality with the 2x extender?

Thanks Andy! This video malarkey is still completely alien to me but getting there slowly… absolutely! It’s the RF one, really light and super sharp. I had a 600 (was stolen) and have noticed that whenever I used a 400 2.8 I absolutely loved shooting earlier & later in the evenings @ 2.8. Most of the time with the 1.4 which is SUPERB. The 2x is ok, much better than the old ones but still prefer the 1.4 (can’t tell
It’s on really) . But generally will avoid unless need to use the 2x . I had the 100-500 which was great for walking around / travelling (also stolen) but the 400 you can fly with in a 1510 pelican case - nice and easy!
