Alot of mexican foods along with other latin foods are based from spain... indigenous and african ancestry. Notice how African people and Latin people of the diaspora eat beans...rice...plaintains? The heat n spices are similar. Hence is to why u have afro latinos and afro mexicans in Oaxaca Mexico and the pacific coastal regions of Mexico. We are as one

Seasoning meat ee normally add pepper, any pepper of your choice, I mostly prefer using the green hor pepper, to the spices when blending. Thks

This reminds me so much of my mother's cooking, and the spread of different dishes definitely reminds me of Sunday lunches. Your patois, too, reminds me of mammy cooking and talking with the grown-ups and laughing, and we children just looking on, not knowing what they were talking about, but loving the air of excitement and family. I'm from the Caribbean.

I'm in hospital for chest infection atm. Best believe I cried while craving Ghana food- waakye among others. Uk food is not what I want for comfort rn. I hesitated with the idea of watching this as it may make things worse. After 2 hours of thinking, I watched and it was pleasantly therapeutic and I hope to make it hopefully soon when im out of here. It has been a hard day. Thanks a lot for your channel.
