Very refreshing .
He invited himself to the family dinner. lol
No. He asked for food.
@@TheLitien It’s a little joke haha
As a Mexican I dont see anything wrong with what he did.
I agree you will always find good people in Mexico with awesome hospitality
That's why I love Mexico so much. Your video is absolutely unique!
Thank you for the RUclips algorithm. I found a hidden gem!

Gotta go back to see the cannon sometime
wow very beautiful family sometimes very nice things happen from misfortune
You shouldn't use the word 'cojiendo or cojer' cuz that's something like fucking or fuck so just say agarrar or agarro that that means grab or grabing.👍
@@Efra-tesa0818 i heard that man im dead
You're a loose cannon.
Actually there´s a place called "La Isla de Mezcala" where many archaeological sites were found. (I'm a history student in the "Universidad de Guadalajara" and often we go there to do research. Is such a nice place to visit)
lol I'm Mexican but the cannon ball Mid dinner was the most random thing ever.
I just found your channel btw, I like your chill energy, saludos!
Mexican hospitality. My dad always say you don’t deny food to anyone. That family offering you food/drinks and to gather along with their family shows how Mexican culture really is. That’s AWSOME! Much love to Mexico 🇲🇽 and their Mexican people.
My mom, God rest her soul, taught me, "En tu casa, ni a tu peor enemigo se le niega un plato". Great parents.
God bless that family bro! “You can never refuse a taco to stranger because you never know what he’s going through!” (Background lady talking) that sounds like my people! Viva Mexico!
Love the hospitality of this family , tbf very jealous I’d love nothing more than to sit with a family like this and enjoy there culture 👌🏻👌🏻😎
Clint Dempsey speaks Spanish with an Argentinian accent.
Yeah he does
And a very good one
@@vector2-074 that accent is never good
don't they say che a lot, and that where che guavera got the nickname che from?
@@King_Flippy_Nips yes.
Whenever I see things like this, I make a mental note to be generous. I'm not in the best position to help others but it sure does feel good to do it sometimes. Hopefully in the future I can do more. People voluntarily bringing goodness into other people's lives just makes the world feel warmer to me.
This is awesome, you played it off nicely dude, super natural, that old lady loved you
I don't know who this guy is, I'm 4mins into the video and absolutely in love with how humble and respectable he is.
As I get older, stuff like this absolutely warms my heart.
I love this clip it shows the true hospitality of the people.........
What a generous and kind family. Super heart warming.
People getting mad at him calling him invasive but first he asked, they could have denied. As well as many Mexican, at least my family, are very kind and inviting people. The only thing pushing it was probably the shot at the end but for the most part they were joking around with him and even offered him a whole plate and more when he just asked for a tortilla
I agree with you, but what kind of person finds out that he has just "walked in" on a family dinner (that isn't his own family) and basically says, "can I have some food?"
did you catch the part where he offered to give them a whole bottle of tequila and they refused? gives some much needed context.
@@anonymousher0 Someone who hasn't had food the whole day... I am sorry but if you were very hungry and are desperate for food, then you have every right to simply ask if you can have some food, and if they said no then that's completely okay, but you at least have to understand both perspectives in that situation. Sure he may have a lot more confidence than I would have asking for food but don't get upset with the dude just because he asked for some food at a family dinner
he thought it was a small restaurant.
Lol is really commun to invite people if they want to and food will never be denied to someone
That's so great that they just welcomed you like one of the family. The interactions were fun to watch. They seemed to genuinely enjoy your company. That's crazy that you were scammed.
I went to this exact pueblo last year and this is a perfect video representing this part of mexico. Most the pueblos in that area are full of people that will treat you like family.
What a lovely interaction. I am an Anglo that has spent time in Mexico and I can say that this is typical of Mexican people. They love to share and make friends.
Reminds me of a time I was fishing, Mexican family decided to fish by me. They brought out a disco, beer, tables etc. Not long after they setup they brought me a plate of food without me asking or anything along with a beer. Thanked them a bunch and one of the elders came over and insisted I get more haha. Been to Mexico once and love it there.
Wow for this exact reason i love mexico its hospitality amazing people food and culture make mexico unique
I was given a feast in Mexico also on my first visit there and they refused payment. The people are very friendly!
I liked the fact that she really wanted to show she spoke English. She was proud of it.
I love your videos because you always look like you're so uncomfortable and unsure about what's going on but you put yourself in these situations regardless and trust in the universe and are open to do anything. It's very inspiring, I hope to see as many places as you in my life
It's all fun and games..til the cannonball comes out !😄
No one ever expects the cannonball..
@@SabbaticalTommy This would explain the dead parrot.
I was just in Mexico City meeting a ton of my in-laws for the first time and as someone who knows way less Spanish than you do I can attest to the kindness of everyone I met in Mexico City and Mexico in general. The culture of caring about the body of people as opposed to the individual is evident. Wonderful video
@Jaime Alvarez i disagree based on my experience in Zacatecas and Mexico City to compare side by side
@Jaime Alvarez you're talking about Mexico city dude, plus he's an American trust me any city in Mexico will make him surprised about Mexican hospitality. I live in the US and the culture is more self centered.
Mexico City is a great city bro, as mexican I have visited many times and never got enough of this city...
I am so happy at how amazing people are. You are unassuming and polite. Funny and self-deprecating. I am sure they appreciate that you are not an arrogant Gringo. I really enjoyed this video. I grew up around American Indians. very similar. They are feeding you like family. So cool. I am jealous of how well you speak spanish.
Toms banter is world class. Always on point with his witty comments
Him: "Hey I've had a long day and haven't eaten. Would it be alright if I had a fish?"
Them: "Ah, so you've chosen to become family."
The american cousin
This reminds me of my mom. My parents came from Mexico to the US and I was born here. As a teen, I would have friends come over and my mom would always tell me to ask them if they want something to eat and drink, and she would be ready to go prepare something. I would be embarrassed and be like, "Ama, they already ate." or "they're not hungry." and she would scold me and be like, "Don't be rude! Go and ask them if they want to stay for dinner." 😂
Exactly!
Salt of the eart
AMEN
2:30 dude so shy... she is totally into him but also him pulling up sayin' can i have a tortilla? killed me😂💀
she didn't want a dead gringo on her family dinner, she was worried he didn't get the fishbone warnings 🤣
She was just worry Lmaoooo
This girl is literary every cousin i have in Mexico shes like a copy of them its hilarious.
Talk about being in the matrix
Damn you are lucky

Wow! Such amazing hospitality.
Hi, it looks great1 No many american people do this kind of videos , and the most interesting is tha you are learning nahuatl languaje and you tried to speak, that was amazing , I"m mexican and I tried to learn Nahuatl, but is difficult for me because never in my spoke before!!
Glad you liked the video! Yeah I'm trying to show how Mexico really is and not just Cancun and Puerto Vallarta. Don't give up on Nahuatl, it's tough but it's a beautiful language!
@@SabbaticalTommy my wife is from nezahualcoyotl
Nahuatl was this the original language of the Aztecs people yes especially from region on the out side of the current Mexico City nezahualcoyotl
@@SabbaticalTommy yes I’d enjoy that out about places like merrida and down on the Mayan riviera when l always talk with the local people the Mayans the people sometimes they are collecting cans. And stuff a tuff life Iam buy them some beer maybe share a pizza not like Iam a giving money away no no the I’ll rent like table and chairs with a umbrella for the next day form them the bars can change people a lot you must be careful not to let them charge you too much for example my wife who is. From Mexico City order a couple of drinks we drunk then she went to the bano I get the bill the guy charges like 200 peso maybe more even but we couldn’t argue because we didn’t ask for the menu first 👌but many Mayan locals complain that’s the hotels always employee forgain women especially Argentina more European looking or people from Mexico City actually the locals don’t like many people from Mexico City for this kind of reason off course many mayans live in poverty in places where tourist really never see
Very good people, there. Another nice video, Tommy. Thank you.
I recently came back from MX and the locals were telling me that there are a bunch of fake Airbnb listings there. We ended up staying at an Airbnb for the last part of our trip with someone who had no reviews LOL. But we met up in public and then went to check out the place and it was legit, and she turned out to be the nicest person! Be careful in MX and you'll be fine!
I envy how calm and at ease you are in unfamiliar situations...it allows you to experience such a nice group of people with ease .
I’m stoned out of my mind watching this and I can’t stop smiling. I miss Mexico

This is beautiful..the Mexican people are so friendly.
This is how I want to travel to every country! Meeting locals and diving into their beautiful cultures, having a laugh and enjoying it around real authentic food! What a beautiful family! I really hope when I get to go there that I get to meet a really cool family, but then i dont cos I'm always the biggest sook when i have to leave people I enjoy being around! 🇳🇿💞🇲🇽🙏🏾
What a beautiful maxican family they treat you as vip guest. Thanks to all those family members.🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏
Amazing people. Humble and hospitable.
By far hands down your best experience! The hospitality was amazing.
If my teachers had told me how cool Mexico is to visit instead of lame "It will help with your career" claims, maybe I'd have actually learned it.
Gotten to explore Mexico and everyone is nice, but I know I'd have a much more authentic experience if I could speak to everyone.
Picked it up starting at age 43, it’s never too late! And it enriches your life in many unexpected ways my dude... I gotta say this gringo speaks it very well and he must have a special talent for languages because I’ve heard him speak in at least 4 languages other than his own
It's fine, most speak english in mexico
Not in my experience
Its never to late. Start watching mexican movies on Netflix with subtitles that helps a lot
