    Hi ! No , my PWM has never blown (yet). But you are right, it's always good to use a protection. I think safety of you PWM much depends on the ESC design, i think you can use a diode for voltage protection on the signal line. And put a resistor in series for current protection, that should work as a simple solution.

    i m building a similar system using a ARM7 lpc2148 core, have u come across PWM getting blown up on flights by any chance? my PWM block got blown up 2'ce now , i see u havn't used any protection from the ESC -> the PWM Controller IC. can u shed some light if possible

      Hi ! Yes i had some test flights, but i crashed it :( The aluminum frame was destroyed, i have no time to restore it. But it was a nice project :)
