Thanks! I was looking for a quick refresher just before I welcome my two colonies to their new home. Well done!

Bees generally are friendly but It only takes one bee, just once to sting on the face and your eye socket will swell closing your eye. A noob mistake I made once - always wear a veil.

Wondering what would happen if you would be stung while transferring any of the frames with all the bees on them. Wouldn't you drop them?? If so, wouldn't that be problematic? Just curious if I'm understanding this correctly and why I wouldn't wear some protective gear to prevent this from happening. Thanks!

very nice to-the-point video, but yes wear at least a head net. to easy to drop or bump a frame

Why do you not put the nuc straight into the hive ?

You could scatter it around the yard and hope that they go to the new box. But this is how you transfer a nuc to a box. Which you should do with every nuc.

Put it in the center of the box with new combs each side. I hope you did not pay to much for such a weak piss poor nuc

I seen that, was wondering why there wasn't more brood. New frames to the outside is key, but each to his own.
