We are Stina & Matti and we run JOKKMOKKGUIDERNA and WORKING HUSKY KENNEL. We offer guided outdoor tours in Jokkmokk, Sweden Lapland all around the year. During the winter we do mostly dog sledding trips and summertime it’s hiking tours, wildlife safaris, canoe and packraft trips. We live year-round with our Siberian Husky dogs and Border Collies in Jokkmokk, North of the Arctic Circle.

I've thoroughly enjoyed watching every engrossing second of this video. Thank you, thank you, thank you, for taking time out to share a bit of your lifestyle with MEeee.
I was happy & relieved when you gave us a thumbs up after Klas' most recent visit & Xray.
I completely understand if videos are few & far between. This is the time of year you need to devote your time, attention, & energy in sharing your lifestyle & adventures with other like minded people in real life.
After that take some personal time to enjoy each other & the dogs.
I'm sure all your youtube subscribers fully understand we come last & will welcome whatever you are able to create & share with us no matter how little. I'll be perfectly happy watching a winter video later during summertime.
Warm Regards from Reno, Nevada U.S.A.
Happy you liked it and thank you for your heartwarming support! We truly enjoy making videos, it's so fun and hope we will grow here on RUclips so we get the economical possibility to do both without double-work as we do now.
Thank you for all your comments and supporting us on Patreon! ♥

This is great! You guys are awesome! Never stop being you, and never stop doing what you love!
Thank you Simon! And thank you for being such a loyal supporter of what we do. /Stina
I've made a medical assessment of Matti's hands. That's what I thought. All nerves are dead. He doesn't feel the cold.
😂 Haha haa! It was actually not that cold at that time when we shot this video clips and belive it or not but you and your hands get used to the cold after spending some time up here. I had big problems my first year living here but now I don't anymore. I guess the body acclimatizes to the enviroment. /Stina
Well it's a lot of work for the both off you. Respect.
Thank you Anneke!
Mycket bra film Matti å Stina.
Ser ut att va bra snöläge också 👍
Tack Mats! 🙏
Inte så jättemycket snö men nu har vi i alla fall tillräckligt för att få upp alla spår för våra hundspannsturer. /Stina
You are my new favorite channel! I host campers at my farm through an application call Hipcamp! I love your Teepee!
Thanks for watching and thanks for a super warm comment!!!
Hosting campers is probably an good way of meeting people from all over!? That's what I like with tourism.
The tipi is a tentipi. It's a Swedish brand and we will hopefully come up with a review of that tent.

Great video, thank you.
Thank you and thank you for watching! /Stina
Amazing love. :O
❤
/Stina
i hope to see your video !
Hope? You're welcome to watch it as many times you like. 😉
Hi, love your content. I get tired just watching you two work. I do see you love it and that makes it possible and worth it. I was wondering how many male dogs do you have in your sled dog pack?
Thanks! ❤ We have about 50/50 males and females. /Stina
Grymt jobb ni gör!!
Tack! Grymt mycket och grymt roligt.
😀
/Matti
Wonderful news about Klas! No need to apologize about lateness of videos: totally understand both of you are very busy and there are only so many hours in a day.
I loved the fast sled start leading onto the lake so much that I would really like to experience a dog sled ride in the future, if the Covid situation settles down, for good. Another item for my to do list.
Merry Christmas, Happy New Year to you, Matti and Stina and all the dogs! May you be comfortably busy, not insanely so throughout 2022!
Thank you Harry ♥! /Stina
Klas är ju en tuffing! Gött med all snö!! ser fantastiskt ut! ni e grymma! ha de gött//johan
Tack Johan! Du är minst lika grym. /Stina
@@JOKKMOKKGUIDERNA 🥰
How had the weather been where you are in the last days? We have had very very mild weather. 8 degrees near Vemdalen! Snow of course has almost totally melted away. Back down to minus 15 at least next week though.
We have hade a few days with mild temps as well but not more than +2. Looks like it's going to get quite cold again this week down to -26 C. /Stina
Hi I hope it's ok that I answer, I'm too are living in Jokkmokk. We too had rather mild weather last week (around noon) mostly around 0 and one day +4. The period before that it's has been between -15 and down to -35 (this is in town) where Stina and Mattis are living is a couple of km outside the town so most likely it has been a little bit colder there. For me, it has been pretty hard when it was really cold because I have COPD and as soon as the temperature comes below -10 / -15 I have problems breathing and I'm not used to the cold however when it has been -35 it feels like spring when it's just -10 😁. I'm born in The Netherlands but have been living in the south of Sweden (Simrishamn) for 37 years right now I'm in Jokkmokk for one year just because I want to know how it is to live up here and I can tell you it's the same as everywhere else but also very different and not like any place I have been living at before.
@@perrodehont5109 i can imagine it's not so different from where we live in Sveg. Not uncommon to get into minus 35 during peak winter. Considering we are really only in middle Sweden it gets just as cold as many places much further north than us. I hope you're enjoying it anyway, it certainly is an experience. We are renting out a house next door to us to a couple of Dutch people. The Dutch seem to love moving to Sweden! Can't blame them! There is a common saying that the Dutch form the modern tax base of Norrland 🤣
@@northernswedenstories1028 Sweden is 12 times the size of The Netherlands and has a population of 10 million, The Netherlands 17 million so it's pretty crowded and that is one of the main reasons they love to move to Sweden. If I had come here 20 years ago I think I would have stayed in Norrland.
@@perrodehont5109 same reason I moved from the UK. Too many people. Although I originally came from rural northern Scotland so it was never as bad as compared to London or something.
What is the black parka the other guy was wearing while you are on the sled [2:26 in the video] :) ??
I don't know. Can't keep track of all guests clothing brands. / Stina
