- This video is about our life in May in the North of Sweden, like a life in Lapland vlog.
We Stina and Matti live in Jokkmokk, a small place in the north of Swedish Lapland also called the land of the midnight sun. To live in Lapland in May is a fascinating experience. The nature transforms from winter conditions to summer in just a month and there is so much things we want to do but also also a lot of things we have to do.
So, follow me and Matti in some of the things we did in May. Join us for a day, doing things that need to be done at our place. And, in the end of the video you get to follow on the short packraft trip we did in the end of the month toghether with two friends.
We may not live a typical Swedish lifestyle but this is how we live up here in northern Sweden!

Filming, editing and video production wise, I think this might be your best so far. Very nice video! Of course the content was also quite inspiring except for Matti's pile of fire wood...I would also need lots of coffee breaks 😄

Thought that maybe it will be nice to just get a slow relaxing intro where you get a feeling of the environment and nature around here. Jag älskar årstiderna här uppe, därför man bor kvar, dock så kan den långa mörka perioden vara lite jobbig, det som lyser upp den perioden är att då kan man i alla fall köra Hundspann! :)
Jag älskar energin i Sibbarna då de släpps ut från bohagarna till lekhagen, det går inte jogga lite lugnt utan det är alltid full gas, underbara!
Fortsätt släpp så fina filmer om er och era hundar!
Hundar har förmågan att leva i nuet och har en oerhörd glädje i nästan allt de gör. Alltid så glada o full av kärlek som de är frikostiga att dela med sig av. /Stina

It looks hard work running your home and dogs, but what an idyllic lifestyle you lead, and in such a beautiful area; I’m missing my trekking trips to the north of Sweden, hopefully I can return next year.

Very nice video. I was in Jokkmokk in 2018 and stayed at the camping next to your place for a warm shower now and then between trips in the wild.I enjoyed your area tremendously on foot and with a canoe...So peaceful, so beautiful, so vast !

I can really understand that if you, like you, lives in a dry place where drinking water is an issue along the trails... then it must be like a paradise here where we more or less can drink everything we finde.

Vad fint ni har gjort i ordning för hundarna, och så bra ni tar hand om dem. Jag skulle definitivt välja er för en hundspannstur eller något annat ni erbjuder i upplevelseväg 👍 Sluta aldrig skildra er vardag, det är så underbart att följa er. Hoppas vi ses en dag

Awesome heat with wood way warmer than heating oil less expensive with wood
...and if things goes wrong in the wold we can just cut down a tree and stay warm.

Yes... All of them are pure breed Siberian huskies except the border collie.

How does the dogs react when they see wild or an other dog ?
Like most all other dog breeds the Siberian huskies have a hunting instinct but we try to breed dogs with as less hunting instinct as possible. So most of our dogs are very focused on us and don't leave our side and when they are in their harnesses, working in front of the sleds they are very focused on their work and don't run after either animals or other dogs.
But if they would come out by them self without us especially if they are several together they would probably hunt. /Stina
