I would definitely go with the Power Paste. I have used The Pink Stuff and was disappointed. Maybe I don't like the goo but I thought it was more work to clean up the remaining product after cleaning than the Power Paste. Like you mentioned, the Power Paste has a good way of only providing just the correct amount on your sponge. I am able to get both of these products at my local walmart and target. I wouldn't buy the Pink Stuff again, and won't be using it again until my Power Paste is all GONE LOL
Love this comment! Very informative. I definitely prefer the power paste for many different things. Since this was posted I have been able to easily find both. The price is something that always gets me though lol. Thanks so much for watching!
I like that the power paste goes a long way. I also like that they have that plastic divider in the container so your sponge isn’t sitting directly on the product and all you have to do is reach for the one thing when it’s time to clean.
by the way, power paste never foams up so much that it starts to drip down vertical surfaces, perhaps it was created like that to have an easier wiping session, as less foam equals less cloths used than lots of foam. also, a bonus for the power paste is that it is never made with harsh chemicals! so it is definitely fine for plates, silverware and areas where people touch a lot
If you have walmart in your area, I see power paste with scrubber/sponge advertised at my Walmart $9.88 Thank you for the demonstration- I think I'd like the citrus smell better- nice and clean smells 😋
Oh for sure! I just started seeing it at my walmart but it’s double the price for what they sell the Pink Stuff. But I definitely like the citrus scent better!
@Melissa Shereen true, more than pink paste, but comes with a scrub mommy and cheaper than what I thought you Saud it was in your video but could be wrong!
This helped me! I’m a cashier at a leading hardware store. Customers SWEAR by the PINK STUFF product (and these are professional cleaning crews), but I’ve never heard of the other stuff until now. Other customers (DIYers) ask me about the Pink Stuff, but all I could tell them was, our Pro’s swears by it, but I don’t know personally. (I thought I should learn and that’s why I’m here!) I’m going to get it since we sell it because your video helped me see it’s not going to damage my home goods or my body! Thanks for sharing your experience and knowledge with me!
I recently tried the pink stuff and I wasn't amazed 🤷🏻♀️ it works, but I guess because everyone was hyping it up I expected more from it! 😅 I always thought the pink stuff smelled like the color pink! Like if pink had a smell it would smell like the pink stuff! 🤣
YES!! I kept thinking melon, but that wasn’t quite right 😂 I think it’s definitely amazing for certain things. But I do agree that some people hype it more than what it is
Thank you for doing the comparison.FYI a they do sell power paste at my local targets and online . I would love to see if there is a difference in power paste versus baking soda/ dish soap paste
Hi! Yes I’ve noticed recently that they have the power paste available at my local Target as well. Still double the price as the Pink Stuff but I honestly think it’s because you get a sponge with it 🤷🏻♀️ I love them both. If they are ever the same price, I’ll probably end up buying both. The Pink stuff because I can scoop and the power paste because of the smell 🍋 thank you so much for watching friend!
I recently bought the sponges, both scrub daddy and mommy and I love it. I’m sold on the pink stuff and I’m trying to see if they have other products that effective but I’ll still take one power paste
this is such a great idea love the pink stuff I have never seen or heard of the other one so its nice to see how it works. Love a good honest review! great video!
@@karenn993 I never had spots with he squeegee. Just the runoff line at the bottom where that plastic piece is. When you use the squeeze, there shouldn’t be any spots left on the glass so I’m not sure why that’s happening.
Great comparison of the two big pasty products out there right now. I am wondering how liquid Bar Keeper's Friend or Soft Scrub compares to these as well. Oh, and I see I need to add the obligitory fuzzy house slippers to my stretch pants cleaning uniform. :) LOL!
The shower door with the power paste looks cleaner to me and it seems like it takes less time to clean in general with the specific sponge that already comes with the power paste. It also makes sense to me that some products that are more expensive work better and in GA at Publix the paste costs more than the pink stuff soooo I'm getting the paste tomorrow, lol.
@Maiz Oh ok. Well, I still like how it seemed like she was able to clean everything faster with the power paste. It's also about the time it takes for me. 💯
Hi Melissa! First let me say thank you so much for this review. I'm a husband and a cleaning enthusiast, especially since owning my own home lol. I'm always on the lookout for new and more effective cleaning products for various areas of the house. I wanted to ask, have you ever used any soft cleansers such as Soft Scrub? If so what are your thoughts on them compared to liquid, powder, or foam cleaners? Again thank you so much for all you do! :-) P.S. this was the first review I've seen on paste cleaners so again thank you for introducing these to me.
@@mwj9080I’ve cleaned commercial & residential for 30 years, my absolute favorite cleanser is Barkeeper’s Friend, but the spray foam… which is hard to find… but readily available in powder & liquid. Both forms work well, just more time consuming to spread & rinse.
Pink stuff looks like it has soap but the power paste is more like Ajax/soft scrub cleanser. It lasts a long time just make sure you let it dry before closing.
Picked up some of the Pink Stuff Paste. I love scrub daddy and wanted to try their paste, but for half the amount for $4 or $5 more, I had to go pink. It helps that pink is my favorite color!
I think it was easier to use the power paste because inevitably I scoop the heck out of the pink stuff, I do really love both and I’m definitely sold on the scrub daddy sponge, got hooked after finding some at the dollar tree!
Yes! The sponge is awesome! I agree about scooping the pink stuff. I think I said that it’s probably a good thing you scoop the power paste because you’ll only get out what you need. If it ever becomes easily available to me and it gets to the same price as the pink stuff, I’ll probably end up with that just because of the smell 😂 thanks so much for watching!!
Hey! I don't know if anyone told you, but I saw you going back and forth trying to get some of the power paste out. It's actually designed to lay the scrub daddy on top and just turn it as a whole. the texture will pick up the paste on the whole surface of the scrub daddy. Might make your life a little more easy!
Hey Melissa! Great review.. thank you for sharing! We love the pink stuff products so this was very interesting to see the comparison between them both ❤️❤️
This was very neat Mel, I like how you tried both of them on everything you were cleaning. I haven’t tried any of the two but now I guess I’ll just get whatever is easier to purchase for me as well, I just haven’t seen either 🤣. Thanks Mel💓
Haha yes! Personally I’d the scrubDaddy paste because easily available and happens to ever be the same price, I’d probably get that just because of the smell 😂 thank you so much for watching!

I have never heard of either of these pastes. I have used the Scrub Daddy sponge, but didn't realize they had a paste. Interested to see your review and comparison. Great honest review. First time here and new friend with full support hon
Did you notice anything after your video where the scrub daddy paste sides were repelling water? It really looks that way in your video when you did the last spray when you were rinsing. Around 6:50-6:59 you can clearly see where you're dividing line is with the two products. The left side of the sink still has water on it and the right side looks like it's almost dry. I was just wondering if that lasted as you continue to use your sink that week. (Probably not for the shower since you used Windex after.) 🤷
I see what you’re saying. And I actually didn’t notice it until you pointed it out. I have used it after this video and I don’t want to say it repels water essentially…but I know from the most recent times I’ve used this that it’s harder to make sure that there’s no residue. The scrub daddy paste leaves more of a residue than the pink stuff. After it dries, I can see a small film and have to go over again with soap. It’s harder to rinse than the pink stuff so maybe that’s what you’re seeing? I may have to try this again just on my sink to make sure I’m telling you the correct thing. I’ll see if I can get that done this week for you and get back to you because I’m curious now and can’t believe I didn’t notice that before
As a huge pink stuff paste fan this was really interesting , I have been seeing the power paste I’m now tempted to try it lol 😂 thanks for sharing this 💕
I love the pink stuff, too! My oven and air fryer are pristine because of it lol. I definitely want to try the power paste now, though! I love my scrub daddy and mommy sponges haha
Hey Melissa! Great review on the products 😀 I love a honest review. A lot of people will hype it up and just make it sound good when it’s the same as everything else. Ya I really need to clean my oven out. It’s so over due🤦♀️ hope you have a great weekend 😀
Hi Melissa! This was a great review. I have the Pink Stuff but haven't opened it yet because I am still working through the Power Paste. I only bought the Pink Stuff because I saw it for cheap at Ross. Thanks for the honest opinion. That is ALWAYS appreciated. Hope you have a great day! XO
I haven't use this cleaning product before but it will be on my grocery list. It seems like both of these scrub busters works better than the average pinesol cleaners
Yes on my opinion they do. Personally, I would choose the pink stuff over the power past because of the price. But it’s also nice to get a sponge with it
Hey Melissa! This was so satisfying to watch! I was so excited to try the pink stuff and I do like it, but I hate the smell, for some reason it makes me want to 🤮 not sure why 🤔
Oh interesting. Someone said that their local Walmart carries both of these at the same price. Maybe try looking to see if you have both near you! The ScrubDaddy one smells so fresh and lemony 🍋
Hi Melissa, It's Melissa! I have the paste and like it just fine but I really want to talk about TPS foaming bathroom cleaner. Clearly it is made by wizards. It is amazing.
If it helps, your Power Paste also looks dried out (the reason it is not sitting flush in the tub and would fall out if you tipped it over). My first one was amazing and not dried out. When I went to open my second one, it was like yours in the video. It never worked as well as the first one. At $10 a pop, I am afraid to buy it again. I love it when it is like the first one. It does not work nearly as well when it is like the second one.
Also, I use Power Paste and Pink Stuff for completely different things. Power paste is fantastic at removing stains from all kinds of white surfaces (walls, tubs, ceramic, fridge interiors, inside cabinets, etc). Pink paste is more gritty, so I like it for stubborn build-up that need a basic (high ph) cleaner. I love it on shower walls (although I would sub in the Power Paste for a stain on the wall). A good rule of thumb is they are not really interchangeable. If you have stains, grab power paste. For build up, use the Pink Stuff Paste. When they intersect, use them one at a time starting with the Pink Stuff since it is easier to remove stains when there is no build-up. Neither work great for thick carbon stains. I would opt for something with a higher ph, like oven cleaner, carbon remover, or even a strong degreaser.
I don't have a black sink, so I cannot speak to that. For stainless steel sinks, I use Power Paste to polish and Pink Stuff to remove build up. Power paste even removes tarnish. So, if my sink is relatively clean but I want it sparkly, I use Power Paste. When there is caked on stuff (especially after a huge dish load), I would use Pink Stuff. Same with Porcelain sinks in the bathroom. Power Paste for stains or shining the sink and Pink Stuff to remove grime. For my cultured marble sinks, I think Pink Stuff paste is a little rough. Power paste is still great for that though.
@@melissashereen Thanks so much for the reply back. I know in SC @ walmart Pink is about a little over 5 Dollars. Thanks for the information 👍😀 . Have a great and safe week.
Haha! I can get like that too. I love seeing the product as I’m cleaning. If there’s not a significant amount, sometimes I feel like I need more. Thanks so much for watching
It creeps me out to house the sponge daddy inside the container when I'm not using it. Because the sponge is sitting on the product closed inside the container. That said, I've had it a month and nothing gross has happened, no mold, etc. As far as performance, I find them to be identical. I've seen zero difference. You can't go wrong with either. Personally, I hate trying to get the scrub daddy paste onto the sponge. You have to wet the sponge and then do this awkward twisting motion. For that reason only, I reach for the Pink Stuff. But I'm lazy... Thank you for the review!!!
The way I thought Pink Stuff was like Pink you know I expected it to smell feminine the way I way eager to use 😅 so excited but it did a great job hopefully to try that in future
The Pink Stuff is a cleaning product that is the color pink. Since it is used for cleaning, we thought it might smell more feminine than it does and the best way to describe it’s current smell is like a melon
Hello Melissa! Great comparison video. I saw that you use Jaws Water system and I actually like that very much. In therms of pricing and results I just tried a Peruvian soap that I found in the international isle and let me tell you for a fraction of the price that thing is the real miracle soap. Go #sapolino
That stuff is so expensive you don't need to use it at all you have to do is use 0000 grade stainless steel pads to remove everything you can imagine on the glass door that stuff is expensive and not necessary
Thank you so much for watching and for your input! That is great advice. I have used the steel pads before and unfortunately it left scratches. Maybe I was pressing too hard 🤷🏻♀️ either way, I enjoy using the products I buy for my home. Thank you for sharing your advice though. It may help someone else out
I thought these products were for hopeless last resort stains because something gritty might effect the finish on appliances and the glaze on glass with regular use. Idk
You can definitely use them for that but you can also use them for deep cleaning. I think some people like to use them for everyday however personally I would only use them for some deep cleaning and scrubbing. Luckily I have not had an issue with either of these affecting the finishes on anything. You should definitely use whatever you feel most comfortable using for whatever type of cleaning you’re doing. Thank you for watching!
You are a champ for cleaning while a child is going in and out of your cleaning area. I'm a mom but I would be saying unless you are going to help, go away. 😂
I wish I could go clean right now. I remember when I was able to clean in peace before kids. I would deep clean everyday and it was fast to clean since I had no kids. Now I am depressed every day crying and wishin I could clean every single day and get everything done and look good. My toddler just doesn't stop climbing and my other child is special needs who needs alot of my attention and help. When people come over they think I want to live like this and judge me. I do not want to live like this. I have to wait till my husband gets home from work just so I can shower and I am drained 😩. I was gping to have an abortion when my toddler was in my stomach because I got pregnant on b.c. I didn't want him and was depressed all 40 weeks. I knew I would get even more depressed if I went ahead and aborted him so I didn't and canceled my appointment. I did fall in love him after he was born and I cannot live without toddler. I just want to clean and dont want to have postpartum depression.
It can be very difficult. And it’s rough right now. Just keep pushing on. Get help if you feel you could benefit from a professional. It’ll get better and easier..just keep pushing. As for everyone else, try not to mind what they think. They don’t know what it’s like to be in your shoes. Just do your best and that all that matters
Try engaging your kid in cleaning make it look fun like a game… kids Copy and feel how we feel. So start there start small ask him if he wants to help mommy (: parenthood shouldn’t take what you love it’s hard but there’s always compromise
I say this respectfully, but in the amount of time you're watching a video you could clean a couple of things. If cleaning makes you feel better do that versus watching videos (I had to tell myself the same thing). I do understand your depression as a person going through it for decades.
You sound like you have post natal depression. It is very hard to have two small children. My guess is that no one is judging you on your home at the moment. You are being too hard on yourself, which is part of post natal depression. It can often come on to people who try too hard to be perfect. In a few years your children will be in school and that magical playful time will be gone because it goes so quickly. Please your children and your own mental health are much more important than having a spotless house. Which is impossible with small children anyway. Please me kind to yourself and seek help if it feels too bad. Many people go through postnatal depression it doesn't mean you are weak it is often to do with hormonal imbalances.
I kept seeing all the hype over the scrub daddy power paste so I bought some today and I'm just not impressed at all. I'm so disappointed because all I heard was good things about it.
I completely understand. I think it works great for the most part. But it’s very comparable to the pink stuff in my opinion. And on some things it can work about the same as some other cleaners. I hope you find a cleaner that you absolutely love for those tough spots!
@@melissashereen I’ve used both. Both are available at my Walmart for about the same cost. The pink stuff dries up, whereas the power paste is already dry. They work about the same except you have to use more of the pink stuff n it’s messier (to me). I love all of their products. I have the sprays. They are all great. I guess personal opinion. Ease of use?
When women find the joy of the "rubbing compound" like men have when buffing and detailing their cars...(Pink Stuff...suuurreee...nice marketing ploy using old dishwashing paste with added abrasives) (:D).
BTW...wear some dang gloves handling these stuff...unless you got mechanic's hands (:D)..and all that crap on their labels are all BS marketing nonsense...just know that it works on grease as long as it it not burned into a crust that damages the surface and don't use these on fancy non-stick surfaces and don't scrub hard on mirror polish surfaces it will scratch just like rubbing compounds on cars' paint finish...and that YOU WILL SCRUB for it to work...remember it's like fine sandpaper for near mirror polish paste in essence (:D).
Hi Melissa, you definitely gave me purchasing the dangon Scrub Daddy sponges 🧽 🤣 it’s a little expensive for 1 sponge, but they are so cute and they work well! Lol 😆 I’ll be trying those pastes soon! Thx girlie TTYs
Scrub daddy sells a 4 pack of the rectangle sponges with the regular scrub daddy stuff on top and I love them. Don’t disintegrate like regular sponges and last longer without getting gross. Cheaper to buy the rectangle pack than the original smile one!!

Hey Melissa! Great review on the products 😀 I love a honest review. A lot of people will hype it up and just make it sound good when it’s the same as everything else. Ya I really need to clean my oven out. It’s so over due🤦♀️ hope you have a great weekend 😀
Mine too 🤦🏻♀️ have a great weekend too! Thanks so much for watching
Hi Melissa! This was a great review. I have the Pink Stuff but haven't opened it yet because I am still working through the Power Paste. I only bought the Pink Stuff because I saw it for cheap at Ross. Thanks for the honest opinion. That is ALWAYS appreciated. Hope you have a great day! XO
Thank you so much
I haven't use this cleaning product before but it will be on my grocery list.
Love to see another great video from you, love your reviews. Sending you lots of wishes. See you soon again in your next video. Stay blessed ✨💞💕
Thank you so much!
Hi Melissa, It's Melissa! I have the paste and like it just fine but I really want to talk about TPS foaming bathroom cleaner. Clearly it is made by wizards. It is amazing.
Can’t wait to try it!
Oh power paste all the way
I actually prefer the pink stuff because I do not like putting my sponge into my cleaning paste , after I have used it.
That’s a good thought. If your sponge has bacteria on it, you’re just putting it back into the container. Didn’t think of that before
Just takes a little brain power to disinfect the scrub mommy sponge it comes with, let it dry and problem solved 🤷🏼♀️🙄🤦♀️
Not to sure which one to go with... People help me decide please . Thanks
I personally feel they both work about the same. So whichever you want to try. I will say that where I live, The Pink Stuff is $5 cheaper
@@melissashereen Thanks so much for the reply back. I know in SC @ walmart Pink is about a little over 5 Dollars. Thanks for the information 👍😀 . Have a great and safe week.
why not use a wet cloth to take it off and a dry one to shine it up again instead of all the paper towels?
2:18 I’m heavy handed so this part made me want to get it 😂. I’ll mess around n finish the pink stuff in a month 😂.
Haha! I can get like that too. I love seeing the product as I’m cleaning. If there’s not a significant amount, sometimes I feel like I need more. Thanks so much for watching
Great vid!
Thank you!
You should try the knock off from dollar tree, the multi purpose cleaning paste.
I’ll check it out!
Scrub daddy sponge goes w club daddy loololol
You have a Nice channel. I'm glad Ive found it. Wishing you lots of success. New subscriber and supporter from Portugal 💚❤️🇵🇹.
Thanks so much!! 💕
Yes I agree. So much easier to get the pink stuff out. Thanks for watching! 💕
The way I thought Pink Stuff was like Pink you know I expected it to smell feminine the way I way eager to use 😅 so excited but it did a great job hopefully to try that in future
Haha yes you would think it would smell more feminine 😂 thanks so much for watching!
Colour is odourless
The Pink Stuff is a cleaning product that is the color pink. Since it is used for cleaning, we thought it might smell more feminine than it does and the best way to describe it’s current smell is like a melon
The power paste lasts forever but i never see it removing much of anything
Have try paste pink stuff 2years ago . NOT REALLY AS GOOD AS SOME RUclipsRS RECOMMEND.
Ohh love this. I use the pink stuff 😊
Thank you! They’re both pretty great!
Are you rinsing with just water or windex please? Thanx in advance. :)
On the shower doors? Rinse with water and then if I feel the need, I go back over with windex and paper towel
@@melissashereen I was wondering about when you were rinsing stove and oven door please? Thank you.
Oh yes. Just water!
Picked up Power Paste at Walmart today, $9.99.
Why she didn't do the pots I have some bad pots I need clean
She did
Good job target power paste white color $10
thank you!
Hello Melissa! Great comparison video. I saw that you use Jaws Water system and I actually like that very much. In therms of pricing and results I just tried a Peruvian soap that I found in the international isle and let me tell you for a fraction of the price that thing is the real miracle soap. Go #sapolino
Yes! I just saw your video. I’ll have to look to see if I can find it to try
Thanks for the video😊
Non-toxic means it’s not poisonous to people or animals & environmentally non-toxic not poisonous to the air earth or water? 🤩
Thank you!!
Thanks
Thanks for watching
That stuff is so expensive you don't need to use it at all you have to do is use 0000 grade stainless steel pads to remove everything you can imagine on the glass door that stuff is expensive and not necessary
Thank you so much for watching and for your input! That is great advice. I have used the steel pads before and unfortunately it left scratches. Maybe I was pressing too hard 🤷🏻♀️ either way, I enjoy using the products I buy for my home. Thank you for sharing your advice though. It may help someone else out
So basically get whichever one is cheaper in your area lol. They both worked the same
Haha yep. That’s what I’m doing
😂😂 oh believe me sometimes it is that way. Thank you so much for watching!
@@GKeile5 when I'm on my phone looking at videos it's because I am nursing or sitting in the waiting room area of my weekly appointments
I think you were dipping into the power paste way too much. Add a little water to your sponge and a little goes a long way!
I found the power paste at Target 👍🏾
$10
Nice! I’ll check it out. Thank you!
The scrub daddy container is AWFUL. I can never twist it off when I need it… very frustrating. Good product… terrible packaging.
Power paste
Is there a specific reason you prefer the power paste? I’d love to get everyone’s opinion
Ahhh that makes sense. If they ever have it at my local Walmart, I’d probably get the power paste too…mostly for the smell 😂
YIOU SUPPOSED TO RINSE THESE PRODICTS OFF WITH WATER/
I prefer the pink stuff the power paste did hardly nothing.
That's a nice shower tho
Honestly I am not impressed at all with the Pink stuff
Fantastic dear 😘 new friend here joined u pls sty cnctd
Thank you
😮😮
the kid was annoying, melissa do your parenting 😂😆
It’s a child ! There always going to be a bit more energetic and stuck to their parents leave her alone 😢
When women find the joy of the "rubbing compound" like men have when buffing and detailing their cars...(Pink Stuff...suuurreee...nice marketing ploy using old dishwashing paste with added abrasives) (:D).
Wasting your time. You need Crocodile Cloth
Yes, please please stop talking!!
They work so well!
Scrub daddy sells a 4 pack of the rectangle sponges with the regular scrub daddy stuff on top and I love them. Don’t disintegrate like regular sponges and last longer without getting gross. Cheaper to buy the rectangle pack than the original smile one!!
