I just now used it in my shower which had built-in grime from years back. I used the pink product and it's whiter than I've ever seen it before. Instead of using elbow grease I stood in the shower used the scrubber under my feet. I'll finish it tomorrow but there is a difference. I will be buying this product again. I keep going back in there and looking at it again. I can't believe it. I couldn't remove the stains with any other product.
I made the mistake of using The Pink Stuff paste on my glass stovetop after seeing others do it. Whelp, I guess I have a little more elbow grease than others, because I scratched my stovetop. 😞 I didn’t think about using it on sneakers, that’s a great suggestion! Always appreciate your videos 👏🏻👏🏻
It's extremely popular with cleaners here but I don't rate it and don't use it. It is versatile and super cheap and I like the smell. You'll be scrubbing forever trying to get pans clean with it. I find it a pain to rinse the granules too, they seem to reappear when the surface dries. It's hugely overhyped. I used it and never repurchased. I think the tub concept is really unhygienic too.
I agree!!!! I saw a knock off at Dollar Tree so I grabbed it pretty much the same thing not as gritty but works the very same maybe don't have quartz in it but it does the job just as well and it's 3 bucks cheaper...
I have the Multi-Purpose spray cleaner. I really like it! Lightly scented, so it doesn't give me a headache or burn my nose. I think it cleans well, I mostly use it for a quick wipe down of my countertops and tables/nightstands.
I don't know anything about Miss so and so lol it got popular to me just seeing it on a couple of RUclips videos and trying it out after 4-5 of the other top products for suborn iron stains in a tub and it blew ALL of them away!!
Baking soda works just as well in most applications and can be used on delicate surfaces. Soap scum etc on glass shower without worrying about damaging acrylic shower pan: Magic eraser.
I used this on my cars cloudy headlights with a car polisher and kept it damp with a spray bottle they look almost brand new 🤗 I also use it on pvc window frames and doors 🚪 does a great job 👍
I like the Pink Stuff. Your video was helpful. I still have my Pink Stuff but have moved to Power Paste. I seems to work a little better and leaves more shine. As usual, your videos are very helpful!
There's a similar product in Australia called "gumption" and when I moved to the US I was frustrated that I couldn't find a product similar until I found this year's later.
There used to be a product called glass wax ( I found it at a recycling center where you can take stuff home for free and I took like 5 quarts of the stuff. It was in metal cans from the 1960s judging by the styling and it was for glass. So I thought this will be a mess, but I tried it on some glass. It had water deposits on it and it scrubbed nicely and it came off beautifully, and that glass was polished.) anyway somebody asked me to buff their glass out and I didn’t have my glass wax so I went to Home Depot and I got some stuff called pink stuff. It’s in a quart plastic quart and I’m using it on different things and wondering kind of what it’s good for? This stuff I’ve got is not a paste it’s a liquid and I suppose you could use it on glass plastics and things like that. So if you didn’t know anything about cleaning, I guess you could certainly use barkeepers friend on what this guy is using it for and barkeepers’s friend is a beautiful job on metal and glass claims it doesn’t scratch but it’s just cleanser. If you need to do a fiberglass shower, what do you do you take some powdered tide make a paste out of it apply it, leave it for about an hour and then wipe it off and it takes soap scum off without scrubbing and smells great.
Wepos putstein (cleaning paste) is much finer and the best all-round domestic cleaning paste and does not scratch. All of these fine particle cleaners are abrasive. The ones claiming not to sctrach have smaller particles so you can't see the microscratches. You should anyway use a soft sponge or cloth and not a scouring pad as shown in the video. Pink stuff is not good for any delicate glass, plastic, paint etc. I bought it to use in the garage and workshop for cleaning patina and rust and for dirty metal surfaces rather than in the house.
Thank you for the info. I had never heard of this, but it sounds like….basically you are using a very very fine sand paper to clean your items. So as long as people understand that is what you are actually doing, sanding off dirt and grime then it will do the job. I would NEVER use this on my tile, stove top, quartz countertops or my glass shower surround. But I can see using it on the grates on my stove or the BBQ grill grates, my tennis shoes. We have a septic and using this type of product over long periods of time will leave a sand type residue in the septic and that's not good when you pump your Septics out every 2 years…. Just my 2¢.
No I would use a tub and tile cleaner that comes in a spray bottle. You spray it on the soap scum, let it sit and dwell for ten minutes then use a Scotch Brite sponge to scum it away.
I'm a long time endorser of Barkeeper's friend but I did once scratch some porcelain off the interior of a rental toilet with it. Good mention though as it's a highly underrated cleaning agent accept for those looking for less harsh chemicals.

Sorry to hear that! Yea alot of stuff online can do significant damage.
you can use it on glass, but not for scrape. mostly to let it sit harden a little bit and then wipe it off with water, usually best with steamer.
It’s basically like baking soda paste. As far as the abrasive properties. Sandpaper
@Supra_Na96 The Pink Stuff scratched up my stainless steel stove top. It wont go anywhere near any of my stainless appliances. Big mistake!
Bar Keepers Friend is much less abrasive and safer to use on more delicate surfaces like stainless steel. Don't use this stuff on stainless steel!
Excellent narrator. Thank you for that. Very rare on YT with its millions of overnight experts.

What's better than pink stuff
Pro tip: if you somehow happen to leave the cap off and it dries out, you can add a few drop of water and it will rehydrate it right back.

Do a video on the use of
💪🏻&🔨 backing soda.
I'd like to see the abrasive comparison on these products.
I have the spray one, i dont find anything special about the spray one, i prefer dawn/water spray
I used this on my cars cloudy headlights with a car polisher and kept it damp with a spray bottle they look almost brand new 🤗 I also use it on pvc window frames and doors 🚪 does a great job 👍
I tried it and was disappointed in its performance. You have to scrub longer and harder than other products. It's residue was harder to wash off.
Dollar Tree has a knock off that's doesn't have the abrasives and its just as good rinses better 3 bucks cheaper
Did he seriously show us how great it works at cleaning a CLEAN sink? LOL
Absolutely
What a useless demonstration. Dude could have done the same thing with some dish soap and that sponge.
@@mitzvah613 I could have, but I preferred to make a video about this stuff.

Does it disinfect?
@@simplypositiveme No. It's a clay based natural abrasive. Non toxic and biodegradable. Citrus scent. Made in Hungary

We've got a similar product too here in Holland. My grandmother used it when she was young. We call it Jif
I bought it by mistake thinking it is the pink paste to fix the drywall
Thank you!! ❤

NO! Dont let this stuff anywhere near stainless steel! It will scratch the crap out of it!

I wonder what the quartz particles will do to the sewer system overtime.
Who knows

I have build up on standing shower tiles (hard water, soap scum). Do I let pink stuff sit on that to soften it?
