Those men clearly never scrubbed anything in their life. Just seeing the live commercial I would’ve bought the sponge. No question asked. Lori was smart and knowledgeable enough to understand it.
1. Sponges are one of the cheapest things you can make. It might cost $1 in small scale, but if they make factory, each piece can cost less than $0.1. 2. Due to low weight, transportation cost is also very low. 3. It also do not break or get damaged or expire. 4. And everyone needs it, regardless of how poor or rich they are. 5. And would have to be replaced every couple of months. Basically it is the perfect product, with recurring revenue and extreme profits.
This guy's attitude is amazing. He said 'you're out' to Kevin's face and has amazing answers to every question. He is well prepared and his confidence is outstanding. He's gonna be successful.
The way Aaron holds the Scrub Daddy throughout the entire pitch is the cutest thing you can tell how proud and passionate he is about the product and how much he really wanted to share it with the world
He was looking for 100k for 10% equity, and ended up getting 200k for 20%, the valuation is exactly the same, him and Lori ended up winning with the greatest product in the history of Shark tank

look how calm, excited and confident she was....scrubdaddy was so confident and he knew he only needed just a little help to go big...and Lori saw that
You can see when lori eyes went big when he explained about the sponge for heavy duty applications, she instantly knew how many people who wash dishes would actually be interested in it
You could see a shine in Lori’s eyes when he was presenting this. She knew this would be a hit from the moment he finished his speech, and the way he held his ground cemented that.
My grandma would spend a good chunk of her social security check and my late grandpa's pension checks and also maxed out multiple credit cards buying stuff on QVC in her old age, until the family realized and one of my aunts got Power of Attorney and handled her finances. This guy changed the world. Why? Because even I have a scrub daddy next to my sink. This was probably one of the best shark tank inventions ever honestly. And it's just so simple but so creative.
Yeah. At the end of the day it's still a dish sponge, but they pack in so many useful features compared to a traditional sponge. It doesn't get stinky, which is the biggest plus for me, it's far more durable, and the temperature affecting the texture of it is pretty neat. Plus on top of that, it's cute! Just a happy little guy helping you keep your kitchen clean. Fantastic product.

It's crazy because I remember when scrub daddy came out. I had no idea it was on the show. I looked at it and said "I'm not paying that much for a sponge just because it has a smiley face." I remember making fun of it! For reference, I'm a professional cleaner and VERY picky about my scrubbers. Then it went from being on the end cap to taking up a quarter of the aisle. My brother in law was a dish washer at the time and swore by it. So I finally purchased one, and yeah. Of course it worked wonders for most of my duties. The only thing it didn't work well for was sinks for some reason. They always fall apart within a couple days but I think that's because I use really hot water. But counters, stoves, dishes, grout 👍
@@dnlgwI don’t know if I have a favourite Shark, but if I had to pick one, it would probably be Lori. I just really like the way she approaches her deals and interacts with people in general
In a Forbes interview, Aaron said that Lori thought the product was a scam, she thought Aaron had two different sponges and didn't believe the sponge actually changed texture. She asked Aaron to try her own sample, and it worked, and it blew her mind. It was clear she was going to be the one investing in it. The producers cut that out of the show because they didn't want to make it obvious who ended up investing in the product. I imagine that had influence over the other investors.
Lori is the only person understanding the potential scrub daddy has because all the rest of these men probably never entered a kitchen before in their life to do the dishes
I just bought a scrub daddy off the shelf of a supermarket way down here in Australia. It's the first time I've ever seen a shark tank product make it all the way out to my country, and that's some of the most telling proof that this business has truly gone global with its success.
Hey same, I got one a few months ago after seeing it make it all the way to my local grocery store in Mexico. I always thought it was an overrated novelty thing, but nope, it’s really awesome and worth the steep price
Same, but in New Zealand - not at the supermarket though, but you can get them online or from Bunnings. After trying Scrub Daddy and Scrub Mommy, I am going to try some of their other products too. That being said, because I can be susceptable to marketing hype, before I bought more, I asked my partner which sponges he preferred and he he said he far prefers them, so they are our new go-to sponges.
I like how even when the guy was trying to bring Lori down like "haha I made you spend another 100k", Lori was just satisfied that she secured the deal. She saw the potential and didn't feel an ounce of regret. If anything, that guy just gave Aaron a bigger budget so he and Lori could make EVEN MORE money 😂
idk it doesn't last that long at all for me. it fell apart and i tossed it after a few weeks. but i did buy it a while ago, maybe they changed their technology
This man is a genius. Not only his product , understanding of the business and confidence is amazing but he brought down Lorrie's offer from 100k for 30% to 200k for 20%.
We do use this sponge and it's great. Its scrubbing ability is off the charts and yet has never scratched our pots or pans. Adjusting its firmness with water temperature is cool and my son loves it for washing silverware. It's the real deal.
I thought the same thing! You could see these guys don't spend much time in the kitchen and didn't appreciate the value in a quality sponge. Lori almost wanted to giggle because she knew the possibilities.
This is why i have huge respect for Lori. She understood that this thing is a huge prospect. She understood the demands of the middle class and below middle class market, something the other sharks didn't have the foresight to see. That is the key to the success of this product
Lori’s smile at the beginning is so awesome. She knew this was going to be big! Good for both her and Scrub Daddy. Still one of the best deals in Shark Tank history.
They all laughed at him until Lori played her hand. She's a smart woman and she knew what to do right away, glad he was smart and took her up on her offer. She made him A LOT of money and I'd like to see how silly the rest of them felt after that.

She saw the potential and didn't feel an ounce of regret. If anything, that guy just gave Aaron a bigger budget so he and Lori could make EVEN MORE money 😂
He was being nice to the guy
Paying 200k for 9 million I’ll take it every day 🎉
Honestly I think Daymond knew Lori would get the deal and just said that to cope lol
@@craigpegasus LMS - Little Man Syndrome - is a thing : )
I wonder how much higher she would've bid or stopped
5:30 That’s was wild😂
All these years of Shark Tank, Scrub Daddy is the only item I've ever bought and continue to buy.
You should check out the better bedder
Ik this scrub is the 🐐
idk it doesn't last that long at all for me. it fell apart and i tossed it after a few weeks. but i did buy it a while ago, maybe they changed their technology

Stop drop tho!!!!!
I low key cried a little seeing this guy be so genuinely happy getting this deal. good for him!
Low key me too. Especially when the lady said she saw it was a hero, the way he looked so happy when she said that 🥲
Not low key any more. High key
This man is a genius. Not only his product , understanding of the business and confidence is amazing but he brought down Lorrie's offer from 100k for 30% to 200k for 20%.
He litteraly got what he asked for
Tho daymond did help him a bit with the bidding
and that's one very smart guy right there
Does anyone seen this sponge? Has anyone bought from you guys? Its just waste of money for me.
We do use this sponge and it's great. Its scrubbing ability is off the charts and yet has never scratched our pots or pans. Adjusting its firmness with water temperature is cool and my son loves it for washing silverware. It's the real deal.
These men never stepped foot in a kitchen, Lori knew the true potential of this product
cuz she is a women lol
Can We Just Appreciate The Fact This Man Stood There The ENTIRE Time Holding That Scrub Daddy Display Style At His Chest 💁♂️
😅
100% Dedication
He was still advertising for the TV viewers. Smart guy.
@@tc4583 he's a go getter
It has become a comfort position at that point lol.
All the guy sharks during the pitch: 🤣
All the guy sharks now: 😢
Lori during the pitch: 🙂
Lori now: 🥳
More like, Lori now: 🤑
I thought the same thing! You could see these guys don't spend much time in the kitchen and didn't appreciate the value in a quality sponge. Lori almost wanted to giggle because she knew the possibilities.
Congratulations. Just gave you your 1,000th like. 😂
Can't believe this pitch is finally on RUclips and in high quality too.
I literally searched for it 1 day ago and I couldn't find it and today it appears on my RUclips
Used to be on here all the time. Then abc took the full episodes down. You could watch whole shows on here. I miss the good old days
yeah finally! I've heard a lot about this deal. It's one of, if not the most successful Shark Tank product.
Finally
Been looking for this too but couldn't find any till today.
Yea

They all laughed at him until Lori played her hand. She's a smart woman and she knew what to do right away, glad he was smart and took her up on her offer. She made him A LOT of money and I'd like to see how silly the rest of them felt after that.
Lori is without question the best shark to make a deal with.
I have one!!! It’s amazing
@@crazytrain111 For most products that come on the show she definitely is and she knows which ones too
@@crazytrain111 YES, all the people who made deals with Lori came out the richest. They make fun of Lori QVC but with just QVC she made all the people who pick to partner with her wealthy.
I watched another video and if i remember it right, i think it was mark , he couldn't believe how much srcub daddy made.
$100,000 for 50% is insulting. Glad he got a good deal with Lori since Scrub Daddy is a massive brand now.
