- Hi everyone, been wanting to test out the pink stuff vs. power paste for a while now. Part of my spring cleaning is also to declutter my cleaning products and have just one go to for each category and I feel these products are very similar so testing them out on parts of my ninja air fryer to see how they do! Thanks for watching and sorry for all my talking in this video! LOL

Thanks for the video. I was wondering which works better before I buy. On another note, just trying to be honest with you. For my personality there was too much over explaining.
Hi, at the end of the day I really do like the power paste more for me and what I use them for. I know scrub daddy has a new tangerine cleaner more like the pink stuff I want to try but for now I love the power paste! And thank you for the honesty, I do appreciate it. I know I am a talker lol and just wanted to make sure I have as much info and the best review and comparison I could but you are very correct, I do over explain. My family always tells me to give the short version when I start talking cause they know how I am! Thank you again for watching and supporting my video and I appreciate the feedback ☺️
It probably would've worked better if you rinsed the item with plain water before applying the paste
I will definitely give that a try! I thought it would work best just product to surface but hey we’ve taken a razor to it so will try anything at this point. Thanks for the tip :)
Thank you for this! I went to buy the power paste bc I've heard good reviews, but tried to use the pink stuff instead since I already had some. Took a LOT of elbow grease (on my oven door) so I found myself wondering if I should have waited til I got the power paste. So your video was very helpful. I'm content with not buying another product, looks like both would have taken about the same amount of work.
Thank you for the video what I learned from watching the inventor is use the ridges at the top and put it on ice or cold water to get the scrub mommy, daddy hard and that should help better
Thank for the video
Thank you for that, I believe I may have tried that but doesn’t hurt to again ☺️ I also tried using it in my bathroom with my Rubbermaid power scrubber so still trying it around the house in other areas. Still not giving up! Thank you for watching and supporting as well, I really appreciate it ☺️
You scrubbed more with the power paste
For the tray just use oven cleaner. Spray, cover with plastic wrap, and let it sit, preferably overnight.
I have so many cleaning products also, during COVID 2020 so I was purchasing everything and now trying to use it all.
Same here! Was purchasing anything I could get my hands on when it was available and now I’m trying to use everything up ☺️
I would let both of those sit on the pan for a while and see if it works better after sitting. I think you need to use a good coating of both products in the pan and let it sit for 30 mins or longer. I would also try Easy Off oven cleaner on that pan.
I did let them sit a little longer in some places but it still didn’t help. I have had some people say to try bar keepers friend so maybe I will try that snd easy off. The pan is still good, just the edges are bad so trying what I can to just keep it :)
Thanks for the video. But for me, I'd just purchase a new baking sheet lol!
lol I probably will end up doing that, it was really to find out if either of them were able to get any off but yea my baking sheet has seen better days! 🤣
Talk less and just do it.
I know right , it was really getting on my nerves , i just wanted to see what the freaking products do !! Not hearing a long ass lecture , less talking , more doing *sigh*
She took forever. Smh 😂
This video was timely for me. I have that same Ninja and it looks just as bad as yours. Mine was setting off the smoke detector every time I cooked! It was time to clean it. It is hard to find instructions on cleaning this particular Ninja. I tried the vinegar/baking soda method. What a mess and disappointing results. I won't use that method again. I heard Goo Gone Oven and Grill cleaner works. I used it on that bottom pan you have in the video and on the racks. It did a really good job. However, you are supposed to wear gloves when you use it so I am not comfortable putting in on a place where I cook food. Now I plan on using the Power Paste after watching your video. Thank you!
Hi! Oh my goodness I just realized I never responded back to you! So sorry sometimes I will get a message at work and completely forget yo respond back! I feel the same way you do, if it’s something that harsh thst I need yo wear gloves, that worries me as well putting it on anything we would be eating off of even if I will wash it after. I really do love the power paste. I told a few people about it at my job and now they really love it too. We use it so many places and I love that there is no harsh chemical smell either. Want to try their new tangerine cleaning product as well. Thank you so much for watching my video. I really do appreciate it and again so sorry for responding after such a long time!
@@amandasiravo1 no apologies needed. :)
Dawn power dissolver is my fave, hardly any elbow grease needed
I do love that one too! ☺️
I live in the uk and we have a lot of hard water. I use pink stuff and swear by the stuff. Take no notice of the not to be used on things that you use for food. I clean my pans, my sink, my utensils. I clean my refrigerator and oven with it and have never had any issues with my health as a result of this 😊
Also, pink stuff is amazing for brightening up stainless items. It doesn’t just remove dirt. It lifts any tarnish and brings it up like new. If you’re using a scrubdaddy you need to soften it with warm water too. Once the water cools and scrubdaddy hardens up it doesn’t do as good a job
Wait.. you used a scrub daddy (harder sponge) with the pink stuff, and a scrub mommy with the power paste? 2 different sponges meant for 2 different purposes… can you perform the experiment with less variables? Using the same sponge type with the pastes?
The power paste comes with a scrub mommy but I used the harder side not the soft side so it was even for both :) I don’t buy scrub mommy sponges myself just the scrub daddy sponges so I made sure to use the hard side on the scrub mommy.
@@amandasiravo1 ah ok, thanks! It makes sense now.
@@Chick-In-Of-TheSea I appreciate you watching and commenting! Really does mean a lot, thank you ☺️
To clean your tray that is so badly baked on use easy of oven cleaner (the non fume kind) and cover with plastic wrap and leave at least 2 hours covered, same with your baking pan. Do not use a razor blade. When I go to a hotel I keep my room key and I use them to scrape things like baking sheets.
How to stretch a vid... this was at least 4 times as long as it should have been hahaha
Damn, you guys get ripped off. Can buy an 850g of the pink stuff here for about £1.50
You need to wet entire surface and use more product, rewet sponge as you go.
I will definitely throw that in the mix next time I try to clean these. Have gotten a lot of good tips, thank you!
I foil my catch pans, that is why. They get gross.
Are they both abrasives?
They are mild ones. I feel the pink stuff has a smoother texture and the power paste has a little more grit to it but not much.
That last pan probably should have been soaked in hot soapy water first.
I didn’t do it in this video but I have done that already before and it didn’t seem to help 🫤
Even using Dawn? wow Oh well, the video was very helpful and I appreciate it!@@amandasiravo1
Get some Grease Lightening and you would have been done in 5 minutes!!
Lol not gonna lie I instantly thought on the movie Grease and the song! Is that really a product? Lol 🤣
@@amandasiravo1 it sure is! It works great on soap scum as well!!
Do you know I was just thinking about it that to make it completely equal and even for the both of them. You should not use a scrub daddy scrubber for the pink stuff because it’s sort of not making it equal. You should use only scrub the daddy scrubbers with the actual products and then you should use a regular sponge with the pink stuff, because if you use the scrub the daddy scrubber in the pink stuff even if you normally use that if you try to see which ones better it’s not really something that I would be able to determine because you’re using scrub daddies products with the pink stuff, so that kind of doesn’t make sense anyway am I the only one who feels like this cause I mean if you’re trying to see which one is better and worse versus each other then why would you use the products the other persons product with you know I mean you know what I’m saying here you should use a normal sponge with the pink stuff and then the scrub. Daddy sponge with the scrub daddy stuff.
That makes a lot of sense and I only used the same sponge for each because I was trying to make the comparison as equal as possible. The pastes both have a little grit/textures to each of them so I didn’t want to use a more abrasive sponge with the power paste and not think pink stuff cause I felt like people would think the power stuff had more of an advantage. Also I have seen other videos where people use scrub daddy sponges with power paste too. Really it was just to make it as fair as I could :)
Why are we explaining the textures for 10 minutes like we get it just clean already this video is a half hour video for what it should of been 10 minutes brooooooooo😑😑😑😑
you could fast forward, brooooo
@00zarzu00 okay well that's fair lol I thought I might miss something in this before being impatient sheesh lol
@@erikasokol8269 lol
Too chatty and too worried about what your audience thinks about a small amount of dishes in your sink. Video is too long. Also, I would have used a regular sponge with a scrubber on top for the pink stuff. Other than these things, it is a good video.
Hi, thank you for the comment. Yes still trying to find a happy middle of too long, too short, too talkative or not enough ☺️ I appreciate the feedback.
Bla bla bla go make money.
I hope one day all those RUclipsr will pay income tax on what they earn.
I will shut her up and not watch this video or any of hers.
I always do that with all RUclipsr.
Full of nonsense.
Talk less do more.
Hi Amanda! I've never tried the power paste, but it looks like it did well! We love the pink stuff here and usually use with some warm water. Loved seeing the testing in this video and the honesty. Have a great weekend!
Hi Sarah, you are actually the second person to tell me they use the pink stuff with some water so I definitely need to give it a second try and use it like that. I do really love the power paste. Gets stains off of everything I’ve used it for. Thanks for the 💜 hope you have a great weekend too!!!
You can not compare to clean with the Pink stuff with the Daddy Scrub 🙈 The Daddy Scrub cleans also burned in only with water. You should use a regular sponge for the pink paste 🤷♀️
I don't rate the pink stuff at all, just buy a cream cleanser from supermarket. Does same job and cheaper.
Omg!! Don’t buy a new one get a Brillo pad and Bar keeper friend.
I’ve heard so many good things about bar keeper friend. I really need to give that a try!
exactly what I would do. Any steel pad with detergent in it would be easier, especially to get into the corners. I would say that the Bar Keeper Friend is great o stainless steel but I wouldn't use it on baked-on greese. For really hard to clean things, oven-off in the US and Mr. Muscel in the UK and Europe, or similar.
The pink stuff left white marks, don't like
Clean! Toooooo much talking
I think it will clean it if you use a little water & let it sit for a bit.
Or oven cleaner with clear wrap over it for a little while.
You’re actually like the third person who said that. I’m definitely need to give it a try that way next time :)
Try this: Get a shallow plastic tub large enough for tray to fit into. Crumple several wads of foil and place inside. Pour 1/4 cup ammonia on bottom and set the tray on top of foil wads elevating it above ammonia. Seal top with foil so that NO air escapes. Leave overnight. Next day wipe away all the baked on grime. The ammonia fumes loosen the grime not the ammonia liquid! Thats why it must be completely sealed. I learned this trick for cleaning burner grates and applied it to oven grates.
Oh wow, I’ve never heard about that! Definitely gonna give it a try. The pan it still in great condition minus the bad edges so I’m not tossing it anytime soon so giving everything a shot! Thanks for the tip!
Thanks for the comparison. Maybe soak in Dawn Power Wash first to loosen up the gunk on the Foodi tray. I need to do mine too.
Yeah it’s gotten worse so gonna try to soak it maybe even overnight and give it another try with some new cleaners I got. Definitely don’t clean this as often as I should!
@@amandasiravo1 We don't either & we use ours a LOT so we don't have to get the big oven going in hot Arizona. I'd love to hear if you find what works. I definitely need to tackle mine soon. I just bought a steam cleaner, so I may try hitting mine with that to loosen some gunk up.
Too much talking....instead of just getting to the cleaning 😢😢😢 sorry
No need to be sorry :) this video did have a lot of talking since I was comparing the two products on different areas.
For the hard baked in stuff you the spray "easy off -oven cleaner" and let it sit for 20 minutes or longer. THEN use the paste and it'll come right off.
Thanks for the tip! Don’t know why I didn’t think to try easy off to get the hard stuff off first!
