Unfortunately, my family and I only discovered the state of my uncle’s house after his sudden passing. At first, I was quite disgusted, but soon realized that no one who was okay would choose to live like that. He couldn’t help himself and didn’t ask for help. So thank you for doing this for the people who has asked,I know it means not only a lot to them, but the people that care about them ❤
For some people the weight of the shame is so heavy they can't bring themselves to tell anyone how they are living. It's so incredibly hard to ask for help, especially with the ones closest to you because you don't want them to know how bad things have got. They fear blame and shame. And you were honest and admitted your first response was disgust. Imagine how awful that would feel when you already feel so much guilt and shame. There are more people living this way than anyone realises. Without people like Auri, there is no way out, at least that's how it feels.

I recently moved into my own place. Cleaning has always been a challenging thing for, as I struggle with mental health. But I've been Auri's fan too long now that I hear Auri's voice as I clean one section of the floor, before moving the furniture and cleaning the other section. I used to feel so overwhelmed with chores, I used to move everything out of the room so I can clean the floor. Now I've learned so much tips and tricks from Auri, cleaning has been an enjoyable chore for me too. I've also been getting pink gloves and brushes too, because of Auri. But her English is awesome, we know exactly what she means whether she says squee-ghee, or trashes, or vacuumer, or when she says words that end in "-ed" and she actually says the sound of the E rather than leaving it silent. Katariina, I wanted thank you so much and to tell you that your videos were life changing for me. I grew up in a home with a family member with OCD who was very critical and controlling. Even after I moved out, they would always comment on my home disparagingly and I would always hear their voice in my head, how my cleaning is not good enough and I'm a "dirty person". When you said in your videos that cleaning doesn't need to be perfect, just good enough, something really clicked for me. It made me understand that any cleaning is good enough as long as it improves the quality of life! I keep telling to myself how fun it is to clean while I do it, and how much better I'll feel in my living space, and how much fun it can be without pressure and perfectionism. I have ADHD so my home will always look different from that of a neurotypical person, but it's good enough for me, it's clean enough to invite people over, and I see cleaning as a fun challenge, not a terrible test I only can fail in the eyes of others anymore. Thank you so much, you probably changed lives of thousands of others with your attitude alone, and all the best for you, and your future, and your loved ones. ❤
I tried the floor squeegee method while cleaning snake vivariums and it's super effective even in miniature! I used a shower squeegee and paper towels.
I have squeegees all over, few in my car, several in my house... you never know when you could use one. Oh another thing you can do with squeegee is to clean frost and ice efficiently off car windows. I love them.
i mentioned this in another video, idk if you saw, but try squeegieing the water into a dustpan. that's what i did when i worked at restaurants and we didn't have a drain nearby

I love cleaning too and I like organising stuff. Unfortunately, 3 weeks ago there was a fire in my home and I am so overwhelmed psychically and physically in return home to previous stage. A lot of things were destroyed, each item has to be cleaned specific liquid, because it smells like cigarette. It's so time-consuming and additionally my foot was burnt a little bit, so I'm not so fast as usually. We don't live in our burnt apartament, but in my Mom's house, who passed away 2,5 month ago, so I'm working on organising her things too. She was minimalist, thankfully. Thanks to Auri's videos I stay motivated to go further and hope there will be the end. Step by step it's coming to be closer the result. Thank you for your videos!

I would say these experiences (home fire and loosing my beloved cats, my Mom's death earlier) are so vivid in my head and changed me and try to find a way to work with it. Warm regards ☺

This is much cleaner than most places I've seen in your past videos. I'm not saying it's good, but some of the ones in your past videos, I had a challenge watching them.. You are such a trooper! Beautiful job. You have a beautiful heart! As does your "team".
I love cleaning too and I like organising stuff. Unfortunately, 3 weeks ago there was a fire in my home and I am so overwhelmed psychically and physically in return home to previous stage. A lot of things were destroyed, each item has to be cleaned specific liquid, because it smells like cigarette. It's so time-consuming and additionally my foot was burnt a little bit, so I'm not so fast as usually. We don't live in our burnt apartament, but in my Mom's house, who passed away 2,5 month ago, so I'm working on organising her things too. She was minimalist, thankfully. Thanks to Auri's videos I stay motivated to go further and hope there will be the end. Step by step it's coming to be closer the result. Thank you for your videos!

@@ap_ap13 Thank you for such supportive comment 🙂I am working still to make my home not looked destroyed, but it's 'liveable'. My foot is completely regenerated, no sign after burn. I would say these experiences (home fire and loosing my beloved cats, my Mom's death earlier) are so vivid in my head and changed me and try to find a way to work with it. Warm regards ☺

I lost my dad 5 years ago but I still have my low moments, and it was so hard to find hope or motivation to do simple things. I can't even imagine all the emotional rollercoaster that you have been through. I know I am just a stranger, but I hope each day you heal a bit more (heart and from your burn), and that your home recovers its warm and shine! Step by step, one thing at a time!
