Doc: Doesn't know the exact number of cells in the human body.
High school teachers: Impossible.
Hahahah I know it's funny right, but we can't retain every bit of info. Yes, we need to rely on qnime sometimes to remind us hahaha
I think doc here is a generalized doctor
Not a immunologist
Or something else that tackle with cells but yeah doctors have different expertise
Hahaha thanks for that 👍👍👍👍👍
Happy new year 🎉✨
B-but, does he know that the mitochondria is the powerhouse of the cell?
There's a theory that the main character blood cell is a sickle cell because of the little hair on the side of her head and the fact that she keeps getting lost, pretty interesting theory imo!
Tbh to see human body like this needs a really creative mind.
I totally agree, absolute genius 👍👍👍👍👍.
Happy new year 🎉✨
There is a Anime has a sister story as well called cells at work black it has been greenlight for an anime so right now is still in manga form and it depicts the disaster of what we put our bodies through through alcoholism, smoking, cholesterol buildup and basic stress upon the body throughout the day
And what’s your personal opinion on the medical science in full metal alchemist brotherhood
Wow I can't wait to watch that. More cells at work coming soon. Happy New year 🎉✨
I like seeing the faces of the specialists when they watch these. That said, I always get distracted by the episode
'Imagine the worse chest infection you've ever had and that is close to what pneumonia is.'
Well...my worst chest infection was pneumonia....so...
His point still stands
FBI also watching this especially at platelet part hahahaha... done subscribed coz I too say kawaii to those platelets...
Hahahaha FBI onto those platelet Hahaha that made me laugh 😅.
Happy new year 🎉✨

Nice react Doc.
U need react Cells at work black.
Thank you hopefully I will very soon 👍👍👍👍👍
Instead of season two watch Cells at Work Black! It’s the darker version of cells at work.
please provide Indonesian subtitles

If you think the first episode is cool and funny just wait till you get to erectile dysfunction
Ye the Killer T cell has the same voice actor for Jotaro in JOJO part 3
Ahhhhh thank you, I thought it sounded familiar. Thank you 👍👍👍👍👍
I see we are men/women/they of culture.
@@rickyly3654 doctor of culture
amazing how we can tell the voice actor/actress from one line.
@sarthak bawane daddy sasageyo is Jotaro as well 0w0
SASAGEYOO!!!!
Red blood cell was scared at the spleen because like you said it's the place where red blood cells go to die
Specifically, where they're eaten by macrophages, and she meets a macrophage there.
And Macrophage is literally sweeping the floor after potentially having just delt with the last red blood cell to wander in
I noticed that the spleen was made to look like a cathedral, and the macrophage was a caretaker at the cathedral, so maybe it's like a funeral place or a church.
I think you might have mistaken the macrophage for the spleen, the spleen was the building she was in actually. Red blood was scared because, as you say, it’s where they go to die.
Sorry! Accidentally down voted your explanation!
Sorry! Accidentally up voted your explanation!
i think she was more panicky cuz she was lost, just like when that T Cell bawled her out for being at the lymph nodes
@@takkycat sorry! I accidentally responded to a comment that didn’t need a reply

Honestly the most amazing thing about this show is the little details they put in. For example the red blood cells outfit slightly changes colour to show when she's carrying oxygen or not. I will also mention that the red blood cell getting lost isn't such a detail but just a character trait even though its quite a popular theory that she is a sickle cell which isn't true as far as I'm aware.
Yeah it doesn't hold up too well as a sickle cell would get stuck more than lost also she wouldn't be the only one by far. Her "sickle" on her hair is actually an Ahoge which is just a troupe in japanese animation to describe a character prone to mishaps and generally being clumsy.
@@Roboshi2007 to be fair the only red blood cells in the (including dark) to been show to getting lost are ones with the small hair detail
@@ravinercf yeah because it's a visual design for a clumsy person
@@Roboshi2007 fair enoguh
yeah, the jacket Red Blood Cells wear is reversable, one side is darker red and other side is brighter red. It shows whether they are carrying O2 or CO2.
Warning, staring at the platelets depicted in this anime for more than 3 sec. may cause your sugar levels to dramatically increase due to an excess of cuteness. Please be safe and thank you for your reaction. Can´t wait for more.
Hahhahahha that's soo true, very sweet and cute those platelets 👍👍👍👍👍
Except in Hataraku saibou Code black. There they are as bad-ass as they're cute in the original Hataraku saibou.
@@renefrijhoff2484 well, both is better.

Apparently this series was the debut for the author (mangaka) and the it will be concluding in a few months, with the last chapters discussing the big virus of 2020. Can’t wait to see what they come out with next (besides the ongoing spin offs).
Yeah me too thanks 👍👍👍👍👍
The COVID one is going to be for the Code Black too, right?
Not only are we getting a second season we are also getting Cells at Work! Code Black which deals with an unhealthy person.
Can't wait, thank you 👍👍👍👍👍
Yeah it's crazy that they air both (almost?) simultaneously. Can't wait! :D
Which is crazy since the person in this series is apparently immunocompromised and gets cancer.
@@P3wP3wPanda well, it would take quite a while for cancer symptoms to show, and anyone can get it and survive without knowing they even had cancer
I've seen it and BOY ARE THEY EVER (unhealthy, that is). Hoo boy...
Watching this one again after Code Black is SUCH a culture shock. It feels like the cheerfulness of the original Cells at Work is some kind of "too good to be true" simulation and you're constantly waiting for the actual grunge to show under the happy pastel paint. They're THAT different.
I wonder how many Doctors have reacted to this on yt
I think I’ve watched abt 10 but ok
he shall wait for Cells at work: Code Black
Definitely. Have seen 3 trailers of it.
Came out today and it's great.
Black already has 5 eps...they are fast...
@@WadcaWymiaru they published 3 and 4 together and delayed chapter 3 of the second season
I've seen a few professional reaction of this anime, but you sir/dr. pointed out a bunch of new things that I haven't heard before! Thanks thanks. Really hope u keep on pointing out even the little things like the one way valve or the spleen scene. Thank! Happy Holidays.
Awwww thank you. I shall continue putting more videos out like this. Happy holidays to you too 👍👍👍👍👍
Cool detail About Red blood cell-chan
1.Hat - Actually is iconic of Red blood cell (EZ to see, right)
2. Jacket - this is one small detail about her. when the first half of this ep. she wearing brighter color while another half, her jacket gone darker color. because describe of this cell when they carrying O2, they have brighter color. When they exchange to CO2, blood went darker color. so this anime made their jacket can turn inside out for switching color when carrying O2 and CO2, include her hat too!
3. Hair - this one surprising me, Looks closely at her Ahoge shape, it likes Sickle. plus her personality is a bumbling or carefree character who always getting lost. It describes her as a Sickle cell traveling around the vessel while getting into trouble, stuck, or go a WRONG WAY.
I know all this from the official manga itself, they did a lot of good work!
Cells at work! Code Black is also coming out in January, it focuses on a struggling body instead of a relatively healthy one.
I know, I can't wait for it. Thanks 👍👍👍👍👍
Now I finally get the spleen joke. It looks like a church because it's a funeral home for cells.
As a fellow medical person, I always get so excited watching someone else watch Cells at Work! X3 Even if they aren't super analyzing it, watching other people have as much fun with the show as I did really re-lights a fire in my stomach, especially with Cells at Work!! Season 2 and Black out. X3
the point of the story is dont learn how to draw to make anime just inspect your body and bloodcells and stuff.
Not trying to be rude, but I think it would be cool if doc.offcall would cosplay Saitama. I'm probably not the first one who said this.
Hahahah if we get to 10,000 subs I'll do it lol 😆😅
I'm going to regret this ☝
You should react to more cells at work!
Hahaha thanks alot more from Cells at Work coming soon 👍👍👍👍👍
Agreed. I'd love to see him do the whole series! Especially with a new season AND Black dropping soon!
I will do and hopefully the new season 2 coming soon, glad your enjoying 👍👍👍👍👍
If you haven't already seen it, can you look at Cells at Work: Code Black? It's a much darker turn on the regular Cells at Work and I would be really interested to see what you think of it.
I don’t know if you’re planning to finish the series, but if you do, it’s got some wild stuff (spoilers ahead):
Abrasions = giant pits leading to the void beyond.
Influenza = a zombie apocalypse.
Macrophages = awesome killer maids (“Ara ara!”)
Parasites = kaijus.
Allergic reactions = the systemic destruction of the body.
Steroids = ED-209.
Cancer = a tragic mutation straight out of Resident Evil.
And that’s just in the first seven episodes.
lol just realized that Killer T Cell's VA also voice Jotaro and Erwin Smith
me too lmao
It's an amazing show, reminds me a little of "Once Upon a Time... Life", a show from my childhood
Is it worth checking out?
@@docoffcall it's more than 30 years old so you probably don't learn something new.
Also it might be a bit outdated, mast cell are still called fat cells there
@doc.offcall as @Hanmacx says is an old show, released in 1987, en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Once_Upon_a_Time..._Life
I think is always worth check, but is a little outdated.
Thanks for the link, If I get a free afternoon I'll collect it out 👍👍👍👍👍
I watched it too in French! I loved the intro lol
I sewer to god there is going to be a stand user reviewing JoJo in the future
Cells at Work, Hataraku Saibou, the best way to teach these otakus since they don't like school.
A comedy-educative anime, which keeps you watching this anime. Every anime needs something to keep you watching, mystery, comedy, epic cuts. This anime keeps these "I don't like school" guys watching because of the comedy, making them learn more and they also like it, successful way to teach.
Edit: I like how the Doctor is an otaku that has career lol.
The moment you said it looked like it was going to be a cute anime I said "Oh boy, wait for it." Good reaction.
Him: I can tell by the music this is gonna be a cutesy show.
Everyone who knows about @2:50 : 🤫🤫🤫 don’t tell him
okey youtube. next, REAL Pirate reaction to "one piece" :v
Hahahaha you know some pirates ☠🤣
among all the doctors who've reacted, you're the most understandable. you see them as depiction while other doctors have moments that they don't want to accept that it's just a depiction
When you realize cells are doing all that in your body
楽しんでもらえて嬉しいです😆日本アニメは色々あるので、またお楽しみくださいませ♪
5:45 hmm, why would a red blood cell be anxious/embarrassed about entering a place meant for getting rid of dead red blood cells, hmm let me think
Didn't pay enough attention to the information of the video, but when he said the body temperature being at 37, I realized he was using metric meaning he's from outside the USA. Another British doctor watching a Edutaining anime.
the spleen isn't the person the spleen is the building/area. the person is a type of cell which will be later in the anime as well(remember it as a immune system cell also found in bone marrow).
During online class I remember people saying they actually learned a lot about cells from this so i wanna see how accurate it really is and turns out its aprooved by our beloved doctor and its a fun and educational something that many things struggle with
Glad you finally started this
Hahaha thank you, it's actually a very funny and educational show. Thanks 👍👍👍👍👍
There's a season 2 proper to this one and a darker spin off of a weakened body.
its out already? or is it going to come out next year?

why in the world is a doctor knows who ichigo is?!?!?!?!?!?
cells at work is one of my all time favorite animes. The white blood cell is my Facebook profile picture. And i absolutely love your ryuk figure

I thought it was a reaction to the new version but it was actually the old one...
I'd like to see a reaction for the new season
I feel so silly for never knowing sneezes are our bodies self defense mechanisms at work! Love this!
The anime Cells at Work was done by the same studio that did JoJo afaik
Ahhh thanks for that I didn't know 👍👍👍👍👍
all i know is that the VA who voices the killer T cell is the VA for Jotaro
Apparently there's little visual nods to JoJo every now and then in the series, according to the comments at Crunchyroll anyway. I haven't seen it yet so I wouldn't know, but fans of JoJo would enjoy that.
the best part is that he watches English subbed instead of English dubbed ✨
Hahaha of course. Dubbed is just too risky Hahaha
Don't know why, but I love how their are always real details in these anime, just like Girlz Und Panzer have very detailed tanks and cultural and war references.
Same with strike witches.
I'd love to play the video game version of this,if it existed
Mister! / Doctor! can you do a reaction to ID: INVADED anime?
specifically in episode 2 where the character Tamotsu drilled a hole in his brain through his skull and drills another one to a little girl named Hondomachi? and they are still alive in the anime, HOW??
I'll have a look into it. Thanks for the recommendation 👍👍👍👍👍
@@docoffcall wow thanks! looking forward to your next vids! 😊😊😊

More coming very soon. Happy new year 🎉✨
If you want to check out older series similar to that, check out "once apon a time ... Life"
Tf? I will never see zhong-li as a god again 😑
Ah, yes, a world where bacteria and presumably blood cells can bleed. Hemo meaning blood, and emia meaning presence in blood.
I know I thought it was a little strange that the pneumococcus was bleeding
That was my first thought too! "Wait, if these guys ARE blood cells....then WHAT IS _THAT_ MADE OUT OF?!" XD

3:04 You watch Bleach too? I see you're man of culture as well. Not all weebs watch Bleach. It's part of Big 3 Anime and I watched all of them, Bleach, Naruto and One Piece. Well of course my favorite is Bleach but don't consider yourself a true weebs if you don't watch all of these Big 3
They should make a Episode about when corona is in ur body 😂
That's the finale of the series actually. The artist said so
Doc: I can already tell this is gonna be. A cutesy anime.
2 min in
Whit blood cell: *slices head off of bacteria
Yeah, that's kinda how this show is. "La la la, cute little platelets, beautiful open tree area, bright clean hallways, don't mind that fountain of blood over there or the dude eating a monster corpse, lala la..." And when a normal civillian cell gets taken over by a virus, there's no hesitation to kill the virus because it would also kill the host--no "I KNOW YOU'RE STILL IN THERE!" Just dead.
And bear in mind, this is all the HAPPY version of this universe...
Its weird how the bacteria also have blood

Just finished watching the series and found theories where RBC may be a sickle cell. But, it's just maybe depicting that the body is vast for a cell that if they were humans, they will get lost. 😂
