The four roses single barrel 100 proofs just started showing up in Massachusetts. There doing 3 different recipes a year I’ve heard.

I love the 4 Roses SBS as well. Damn expensive here, at $60 a bottle. My top sugestions depend on the person. NEW to Whiskey 1. Buffalo Trace (if they can get it), Bowman Brothers small batch if not, for the lower rye mashbill 2. Remus for the higher rye mash bill, and 3. Wyoming Whiskey Small Batch for a Wheated Bourbon. If not that new, then 1. Russell's Reserve 10 year, 2. Chatanooga 91 and 3. 4 roses SBS

Really like those lists. And the mind set of categorized by mash bill. Experience what more rye or wheat can do! Thanks for watching🥃

You guys are in Washington state too? Nice! We can lament the ludicrous prices together (mostly from the state's high liquor taxes, to anyone reading this who doesn't live here). Ha ha! You guys picked some good bourbons there. I see one or two that I'll have to try out at some point. I did recently get a bottle of JD SBBP, although it's a non-store pick. I did get it for $47 before taxes, so not too bad. It's really good and I like that it holds up to water to my preferred drinking strength. Cheers!

Yes we are! We share your pain!😂🥲 we couldn’t believe when we saw the JDBPs at $47 recently! It’s a no brainer at that point! Really appreciate the comment and you checking us out!🥃 we will see you around I’m sure!

My go to recommendations are Buffalo Trace, Four Roses SiB, Rare Breed, Knob Creek 12, Old Forester 1910, Sagamore DO, JDSBBS Rye. Those are all readily available in Ohio and highlight different taste profiles and variety. Low proof and sweet, SiB , spicy and high proof, age and a bit oh nut, DO, bourbon drinkers rye, high octane rye.

Fyi, the camera sometimes autofocuses to the BB sign in the back and makes you guys blurry. Setting the aperture to like f/5.6 or f/7.1 will help. Keep up the great work!

I like that you are talking about bottles that the average person can afford. Too many of these channels talk about bottles $100 and way over, I will never buy one of those. Green River is awesome, I have the Rye, Bourbon, Wheat and Full Proof, Full Proof is killer. Cannot get the Early Times in Illinois 😥. JDSBBP rye and bourbon are 2 of my favorites from 2024. KC12 is a little out of my price range, $72 here, love the KC9.

Thank you for watching! We are pretty big on giving attention where it’s due to the shelf stable whiskey as we as the hard to find ones we manage to come across. People get so hung up on Unicorns they miss amazing whiskey that’s always there and a great price!
Knob 9 is one of my go to pours these days. So much value in that bottle!🥃

Great selection. I don't think that Green River you showed was a Full Proof bottle? My bottle actually said Full Proof on it. My Total Wine sells it for $48 not $35.

Go Visit Bourbon Baller Lee at the QFC in Renton. Great prices and just an awesome guy. TW&M is horrible especially here in Washington State as you know. If you can take trips to Oregon and Idaho and you'll get great prices. Love your bottles, great picks. Thank you for the suggestions, most of those are on my list as well. #767 sub for ya.

    Earlytimes bib isnt a blend?
I honestly prefer the coopers 100 over the ET bib, but value is def better on the ET.

    • @BrothersBarrel
      @BrothersBarrel  11 дней назад +1

It is not a single barrel but I do believe it’s one mash bill, one season blended for consistency. Where Coopers I think has that mash bill and something else blended to make it. I think😂

Hey my names Jacob, would yall like to try a sample of jdsbbp heroes selection rye @138.0 proof warehouse 1-13? I think it's the best rye I've had in awhile. I noticed you live in the lower puget sound/gig harbour, and I'm in belfair so not to far from ya. I only noticed since we're in that bourbon dudes fb community!
Big fan though, really appreciate yall repping the PNW/Washington mainly!

Hey Jacob! Yeah Thad be awesome! I think Thad be the highest proof JDSiB we’d have other than a Coy! Really appreciate the kind words. It’s tough being in the whiskey game here but not impossible! We are working on getting some content with the local distillers In our area soon!
Shoot us an email (in our channel description) and we can link up!🤙🏼🥃
