Personally I would save your money and not buy the Weller CYPB. If you can get the GTS at Msrp, great. These allocated bottles are way overpriced and don't always deliver. @@keithpetersen560 definitely agree with you. I’m trying to get it as close to MSRP as possible. Hopefully I will find one this year. Thanks for sharing and watching. Cheers 🥃🥃🥃
I grabbed a 2024 GTS last year for $450. Store was asking $700 for the GTS and $350 for the EHT Barrel Proof. I offered 400 for the GTS and 200 for the EHT BP. Store owner countered with $700 total for both bottles and I met him in the middle at $650. The Lot B 12 year I also got last year in November for $300. I typically avoid paying over MSRP, but for unicorns I’m willing to make an exception as long as it’s within my price range and under secondary. My advice would be to make cash offers. Stores have been lowering prices lately and willing to negotiate. Wishing you luck on getting a GTS. It’s definitely worth the buy.
@@EddieHajnasr I would have definitely took that deal. I knew that my offer was a little bit lower than what they expected. I’m definitely going to keep hunting for it. Thanks for sharing and watching Cheers 🥃🥃🥃
@ Ideally I would have wanted to be at $300 for a GTS, but it’s tough making an offer like that sometimes when the price is much higher than where you want to be. If they priced it at $500 then a $300 offer wouldn’t be reasonable. Before making an offer I asked how much they were willing to come down on price if I bought more than one bottle. First they said that they can knock off $200 and then he said $250. Once he said that I knew that getting the GTS from them for $400-$450 was possible. Every store is different. Some don’t budge on pricing, some only drop their price $50, and some give bigger discounts. For example, this year I bought an old rip for $400. Store asked for $1000 and I offered $400. He called his boss and I didn’t think they would accept my offer so I left. Got in the car and the employee ran out saying the boss accepted my offer. You just never know what stores will do but it never hurts to ask and make offers. Worst thing that could happen is they say no and you move on with your day.

Hey nothing wrong with throwing out what you’re willing to pay as the consumer. I’m interested to know what their counter was though?
@@austinb8175 there wasn’t one 😂… Just a no… 😂 I’m pretty sure it was out of my price range. I really want to find one close to MSRP. I know that’s a stretch but I have time. Thanks for sharing and watching.

Personally I would save your money and not buy the Weller CYPB. If you can get the GTS at Msrp, great. These allocated bottles are way overpriced and don't always deliver. Although I have allocated bottles, I've been lucky and paid retail. To many great bottles on the shelves for $100 and less IMO..
@@keithpetersen560 definitely agree with you. I’m trying to get it as close to MSRP as possible. Hopefully I will find one this year.

Thanks for sharing and watching
Cheers 🥃🥃🥃
Person I work with won a GTS in a lottery. When they picked it up the new kid at the cashier scanned it in wrong and it came up at 7.99. 🏃🏽♂️
