Been to Dingle on our honeymoon to Ireland in 1976! Lovely place so I am glad to say I HAVE been to Dingle once in my lifetime! Swiss born, our visit to Ireland led us to try and immigrate, but impossible at that time. We ended up down under in New Zealand instead and have lived here ever since :).
Hey Monika, can you check out my new food review channel Ireland, it's low budget at the moment 🤣 but the scenery is beautiful, it's called Richie's food and nature Ireland
Our tour spent a day in Dingle and I loved it it's so beautiful just as the man said. We had an Included lunch that day and it was fish n Chips for a group of about 60 of us. I don't remember the name or where in Dingle exactly but we were all impressed. it was all very good n tasty. I really enjoy the drive there and going back out all the rolling hills n sheep. stone walls were fascinating
My wife and I just spent a fantastic Irish vacation visiting many friends along the way. We were in Dingle when the Irish rugby played the All Blacks for the title but unfortunately they couldn't pull it out. Still a very good time and we loved the Dingle peninsula and local people. I must mention the lovely ladies that had just opened a new coffee place up on the left on Green St. For future visitors please pay them a visit for great coffee and home made baked goods. I unfortunately can't remember their shops name but as you walk up Green towards St Mary's Church look for the stone archway with the fire place in the wall. All of Dingle was charming and we had a blast while there and I highly recommend this on anyone's itinerary that might be planning a trip to Ireland.
Dingle was one of our favorite places in Ireland!. Great cheese shop! Dingle whiskey tour! And bought my favorite sweater there! And used this as a base camp to tour the dingle peninsula.
Another great and very accurate and fun video of Dingle. They also have what is considered one of the best and biggest Irish food fairs called -- My wife used to be a judge for a few years. -- Cheers!! Blas na hEireann Irish Food Awards - Food Producers Ireland - This is a yearly event in Dingle. Food Awards celebrating and rewarding the very best tasting Irish food and drink products, and the passionate, driven producers who make it.
Just the sort of vid I like - lots of beautiful scenery , food and people with a knowledgeable commentary in the background . Thanks Dennis for a lovely time .
I have been to Dingle several times. You should avoid June - August if you can because it can get VERY crowded. The town is half closed during January and February leaving the best months as April May and September October. Snow is rare but a rainy day might only be a brisk 40f. Give yourself 3 days to see the peninsula.
I' m surprised u didn' t cover Dick Mack's Dingle's oldest pub. Lots of Hollywood and Irish artists acterd etc have their own stars outside. It remains pretty much the same since it opened many years ago. I live in Dublin and have been to Dingle twice. One of favourie Irish towns x
I did step inside Dick Mack's but it was so full of people having a good time drinking and talking I thought it best to not disturb them with my camera.
I miss Dick Mack's! Wanted to get a tour of their brewery but no one showed up. Owner ended up just giving my group of friends a mini tour and free drinks on the house.
I can't believe this! We are now planning a trip to Ireland! Our upcoming Netherlands trip is next month! I will be taking notes carefully as you post these videos as well! Would the end of May still get us in before the "high" season?
End of May is perfect. Nice coincidence you are going to the two most recent countries I have been editing. I've got 2 playlists for you with many movies: 12 Ireland movies, bit.ly/2CAfweV and 25 Netherlands movies, bit.ly/2pw5u7d

So long since I have been there! One day I will be back there to show my kids around like I showed thousands of others via my channel videos
I visited Dingle in September 2018. It was a heatwave with blazing sunshine. A rain shower would have been quite welcome to cool thngs down.

It’s not the oldest pub in town!

There’s always more than 5 restaurants…
