- A Washington woman managed to call 911 using her Apple Watch after being bound and gagged by her estranged husband. Cops say Chae An drove to a heavily wooded trail and dug a shallow grave to bury Young An alive. Somehow, the brave mom of two kicked her way out of the 19-inch grave and ran through the woods for about 30 minutes before she found a house. The traumatized woman begged the court not to release him on bail.
Thats absolutely insane, the fact she survived is literally a miracle.

The words “he will kill me again” just gave me a sick feeling. Prayers for her safety and for his prosecution and punishments.
A cop told me this once when I was in an abusive toxic relationship. I called them on him for putting his hands on me. He ran off, when the cops got there. After I told them everything that had happened, one of the gentlemen told me “next time he WILL kill you”. That woke me up bcs I know he wasn’t lying. After I managed to successfully break up with him, which took me saying I want to break up everyday for 7 days for him to finally get the point. In those 7 days did he abuse me? Yes, he accused me of cheating that’s why I wanted to break up and leave him. But he failed to see he had a problem with addictions and was extremely abusive. He tried to tell me with “why does everyone leave me…” The irony..
He should be put in prison with the regular prisoners and not the separate ward for crimes involving women and children. Then have the regular prisoners know his exact situation and then turn around and leave him.

I live in WA and remember receiving this amber alert on my phone the day he kidnapped her. It gave me Chills down my spine. Especially since I was in the grocery store and EVERYONE'S phone was going off at once. Sheesh. I said a little prayer and expected the worst. I'm so happy she's okay and I pray she has a full recovery.

You can't plead guilty right away anyway. The judge and the district attorney and everyone else needs to gather all evidence and then they can proceed. It's due process. So when you go in front of a judge on your first hearing they actually tell you to not plead guilty as a rule.

I heard about this story a couple weeks ago, and I’m still relieved that she survived! I really, really hope the court acknowledges her plea to keep that monster in jail. He should never set foot in society ever again!!!

She might still be in shock. Whenever big traumas have happened to me, I carry on like normal for a period of time while I'm numb and then collapse and breakdown once what happened has sunk in more
I live in the same area as this poor woman and I remember when I received the amber alert when they where looking for his car. His license plate was posted on freeway alert signs. I’m so glad they found her and she’s okay.

My dad's cousin was buried alive when she was living in Cambodia during a massacre. I can't imagine the trauma they'll both have for the rest of her life.

@@elefanamir9087 She was at home when she called 911, and wasn't there when police arrived. She and her watch were en route to the woods where she was buried. By the time they could have even tracked the watch, she would have been dead if she hadn't escaped.

If they have to trace pings off cellphone towers like I think youre implying not only would they waste time they still wouldnt have a very precise location to begin searching

Told them he used to be normal and fine, but after 3 months of dating he finally showed his true colors. One of the gentlemen told me “next time he WILL kill you”, that woke me up bcs I know he wasn’t lying. But he failed to see he had a severe problem with addictions and was extremely abusive. He refuses to get professional mental help for his addictions and abusive behavior. The call for help from her watch did not help her survive though. Thank goodness she's strong enough to claw through 19 inches of dirt after being stabbed. The technology and response methods for aid failed her.
@@bradleyagainst The response didn't fail. This video is just a short summary of the crime. What's not mentioned is that soon after she made contact with 911, the perpetrator found, took off her watch and broke it before driving away. That's why they couldn't continue and follow her location.

An attempted murder like that should warrant at least a life sentence, because he hurt his victim and probably damaged her physically as well. He won't be a member of the majority identity group in prison, so he'll have a great male relationship there
