Well, here it is the second half to my original video on the TETON SPORT XXL CAMPING COT.
My little brother bought all necessary item to really make this cot a camping contender. Stick around and see how this actually works in the high sierra's, twin lakes Bridgeport CA trout fishing. So initial set up was very easy, similar to a pop-up tent. As for the rainfly, took some time to figure it out. I would highly suggest anyone looking for comfortable large man or woman tent cot pairing get yourself one of these...

Thanks for the video, guys. It explained exactly what I was wondering about the extended rain fly. Thanks again!

Hey, thanks for watching. Unfortunately, we haven't had a chance to use it this year. 😕 We have multiple trips planned in May. Hopefully, it works out.

Quick tip for the extended rain fly. Find the logo on the tent and the logo on the rain fly, the logos go one on top of the other for the correct orientation of the rain fly.

I own this xxl cot / vista 1 tent and the vista 2 tent / 2 sports universal cots.
Their game changers! Their easy setup and comfort make up for their cost. I still need to buy the elite rain fly for both. Thanks for vid.

Yes! Game changer. I'm a big guy and I fit with room to spare. Thanks for the comment.

I have the same set up. I just want to point out a few things that I noticed in the video. The rain fly that comes with the tent is for when you are setting the tent up on the ground. Because if it rains the rain will collect between the tent and the cot, which is be where your pad will be and become soaking wet. That is why you need/have the extended rain fly. And the extended rain rain fly can be used on the ground by reverse rolling the "extra" length and securing with the loop and barrel buttons. When you set up the tent you should lock the longest legs together and then pull the cord to setup the tent and then lock it. When you are putting the elite rain fly on look for the Teton logo . It lines up with the Teton logo on the tent.
I really enjoy this tent. I don't know if I'm right but I put my head on the opposite end of the tent then the way you were. I also have the Zero Degrees XXL sleeping bag which is excellent in the cold weather. I hope that this helps you and others. I really hope that you like this setup. I like how fast you can break camp too

I don’t like the tent on top of the mattress, nylon to nylon of the sleeping bag gets uncomfortable for me, I always fit it inside with no problem. There are some add ons I have, a small hammock like that attaches to the cot keeping your clothes off the ground, in case of heavy rain water might run under making your clothes wet. Also there is a long pocket with dividers you can get that again attaches to the front of the cot where I keep a water bottle, phone, keys and toilet paper handy and dry. I love this cot/tent, is very comfortable and pretty roomy for what it is. Is done pretty good in 25+ mph winds too. Nice video and thanks.

I have tried getting the tent and accessories, with no luck. Everything has been out of stock when I've had the money to purchase. I have given up on this great tent for now. Thank you for sharing.

You guys must've caught that tent on sale, it's currently $94...still seems like a decent price for a tent like this
