Really like the style of this battle report, easy to listen to and understand without having to watch every second, pefect for having on whilst painting
The voice, the video style, the gameplay, the minis, it’s all so perfect. I play Battletech and have only started to get into 40K, and the video was super easy to get into and wicked interesting to compare to BT gameplay
As someone who has been out of the 40k tabletop scene for a few editions now, I appreciate how easy this video made it to follow along with the way the rules and the battles have evolved!
This was a very well put together Battle Report. It was clean, no time wasted, fun and engaging story. Only real critique would be the volume level of the chainsaw audio could be turned down a bit. Outside of that it was a real pleasure to watch. I play as Salamanders and watching how others use Space Marines is always fun. Great job! Truly. I’m excited to watch more as you develop them.
I appreciate you taking the time to watch and provide some thought out and useful feedback! The goal is to keep improving these reports off of everything I hear back from people
That was phenomenal, I actually hit save to later since the graphics were so well executed and watched it a couple of days later when I had the time. Amazing cut through with so many different battle report options available on youtube. Thanks for a great watch
The epic voice combined with the effects, ambiance makes it feel like you're listening to a book witch just feel intense this is a nice change from what kids I usually see of guys being super loud while I'm trying to enjoy the game itself very nice
I wish I didn't have to sacrifice Shrike to take the Dreadnoughts attention away from both supporting the mid board and the scoring ATV 😢 He could have gone back up to deep strike and survived but I was looking to put the score out of reach at the time
A narrated battle report is always appreciated. A little bit of supplementary voice acting for the more important characters would add a lot too, especially at the part when the dreadnoughts fired at each other. Still an amazing report with equally well painted models.

This was a fantastic battle report! I would love to see more reports done this way! Telling it like a story rather than just a factual, "then this happened", it was really well done!
I really appreciate that! It's always nerve wracking trying a style I haven't seen done much, but I'm glad it resonated with some people! Now to improve the product and put some more bat reps out!
So are the Imperial fists playing anvil in this battle report? Heavy intercessors, provided they remaine stationary wound reg Tacticus marines on 2s. Also if you had the apothecary Biologis leading the full 10 man Sqaud of heavy intercessors along with Tor Garadon, the battle drill recall stratagem could have been used on all 10 heavies + Tor to give Lethals and Sustained hits on 5+ provided they remained stationary. Obviously stratagems costed more in this game but the Anvil stratagem to be able to fall back after fight phase during your opponents turn (provided they end their movement on an objective/deploy zone) Would have been extremely valuable to those heavies when the assault intercessors attacked. They could have fallen back an inch or 2, staying within the objective and then could have shot them their turn. The Redemptor dreadnoughts should have stuck together to take down that balistus dread, I would have risked hazardous roles if it meant forcing 6+ saves with 3 damage.
I appreciate the advice from an experienced Imperial Fist player! The guy who was playing them wasn't very experienced and it was definitely a learning curve while being interrupted to take video and camera shots lol I think his thinking for splitting his Heavy Intercessors and Redemptors was to hold multiple objectives and spread out his fire support. It may have been more effective to simply bunker everything, but I believe he was scared of losing out on scoring
@@mattsminiprob oh yeah that understandable, I forget stratagems all the time with being flustered and that’s without video making. If he ever plays these models again in a rematch or something, intercessors in 2 separate 5 man Sqauds are better becaue they have sticky and can get 2 different objectives split up. The Lieutenant could be swapped for a scout Sqaud maybe to get earlier captures, anvil has a massive issue with the rules promoting staying put rather than moving out. Heavy intercessors have assault on both the heavy bolt rifles and even bolters so an early advance and then staying put on the centre objective is usually what I do, heavies have a plus 1 to their save whilst on an objective, so they’re really hard to get rid of.
@@mattsminiprobone suggestion, maybe having a different voice explaining each army's actions would be cool. Then use more words like 'they' and 'we' so we feel like the voice over is coming straight from the field. Anyway, really cool and well done 👍

This is a great way to watch a game as someone just getting into the hobby. I can’t wait to have narrative battles like these with my friends!
Narrative styles of playing are fun because it takes away a lot of the need to be highly competitive and chase after the meta
I’ve been highly debating starting a new Space marine army and it came down to these two, so glad I found this battle report!
Well I hope the video helped you decide which to go with!
Love the tone the whole video gives with the voice over, thank you RUclips algorithm 🙏
Very nice work 👍

I’m so excited yay!
Thanks for watching! It's really appreciated!
My boy Kayvaan got done dirty in this one, man. That hurt!
I hated to do that to one of my favorite characters, but I needed a distraction so my unit scoring on the objective didn't get blown up and to force the Imperial Fists to move forward
Awesome battle Report
Thank you!
I actually really like both of the chapter master models in this video.
Thanks dude! They are both pretty sweet models
Love it - can't beat movie voiceover guy!🐻
It turned out better than I expected
I appreciate the story they’re building up.
There is a chance that the Alpha Legion makes a much bigger appearance later...
