A request for a batrep from me would be pitting Tyranids against Daemons, be awesome to see some more non traditional miltaristic armies types getting a fight on, giant bugs and giant demons will just look cool

You’ve gotta run Shrike with 10 Vanguard Vets. Rapid ingress just outside of 12” near a unit you want to delete. Shrike gives his squad Lone Op and redeploy
I wanna see a massive game of tyranids vs guard. Custom game rules, trenches set up for the guard and wave set up for tyranids. Tyranids win if they reach the opposite side of the board but can only deploy so much of their army at a time. Guard is deployed in trenches along the way. Each trench would be an OBJ that can be burnt by the tyranids. Each trench will mark a new expansion to the tyranid deployment zone once it’s captured. The idea being the tyranids get to over run the guard and get farther up the board. You’d get to break out a bunch of guard infantry and artillery. Tyranids score 2 VP if they reach the guards edge of the board. Guard automatically starts with 1 VP. Simple fun, but it’d be a long game.
I run two sets of eliminators with and instigator carbine in each. Play it in firestorm detachment is so much fun. S6 snipers, move advance shoot move, stealth. They are unbelievably annoying and great for picking out random characters and nabbing objectives

Hey team. Quick rules based Q please. At 40:16 your eliminators target the Tau Devilfish. They shoot over some ruins. This, to me makes sense. The Eliminators are set up high for just such a thing. My regular opponents always say I cannot do this as the ruins are LOS blocking. To me, this seems silly - you can't have something LOS blocking all the way up to space/infinity. Playing it their way really limits the opportunity for things like Eliminators to target anything, to the point I rarely bring them to a game now. Would you be able to suggest who is right here? Thanks :D
When the pathfinders shot with the rail rifles, they hit on 3+ (base 5+) so can you stack the heavy and greater good buffs (as to hit rolls can't be modified by more than +1/-1)? Is it because the greater good specifically modifies the BS rather than the roll? New to 10th edition so learning
with the fireblade shooting at the lieutenant you rolled a 4 and said he didnt hit as he's minus 1 to hit as he isnt shooting the guided target, but he would have hit as hes bs3+ which would've meant hes bs4+ could have stopped the breachers dying in cc
Dint roll to wound for the infiltrators first turn they hit then rerolled and it was 7 hits that should have then rolled to wound but was 7 auto wounds?
Did the Devilfish spot twice in the last shooting round? It can only spot for one unit per round. I think Pathfinders are the only unit who can spot twice per round....
I know the Bladeguard Ancient can be attached in addition to a Captain, Lieutenant or Chapter Master. So I'm assuming yes because you also can't take all 4 assassins either.
Did you attach the bladeguard ancient and the judiciar to the bladeguard together because this was narrative? As by the rules they can't both join the same unit.
There may have been a few instances in the edit where I missed him using a stratagem for free with his captains ability, so I’m sure he did actually have the cp! 😅 - jinx

I love the snipers. They make the most sense out of all the Phobos units for me.

Correct, +/- to Hit is capped, but modifiers to BS are not, and the two stack 🙂
