the death guard infantry are very basic though.. a lot of color missing. probably done in a hurry. but morty is bang on.

48:39 Putrifier's ability to provide crits on 5+s applies in melee as well as ranged, you had more lethals in that knife phase.

I really like it when the music plays over the dice rolling. Makes me feel more engaged. Sometimes the music is a bit quiet and I can't hear much but for this the volume is perfect so far.

I was particularly pleased when Peter's photon punched the putrid, pus-filled primarch and penetrated his pock-marked plate to provide those four pieces of pain and put him in a pickle.

I have a random question! At about 54:05 one of the terminators falls down and I noticed you guys have magnetized bases, can I ask how you are housing the magnet? it looks like there's actually like a socket for the magnet

@tabletoptactics My Lord of Skulls didn’t get a chance to Tank Shock anything in my last game as it was one-shotted by Helbrecht. I felt, despite a 480 point model being killed by a 95 point model, I was remarkably gracious 😅😩😬

Golden bois versus the dirty bois! Good to see this matchup now that Death Guard got a bit of a buff.
It really, REALLY helped them. Make Plague Marines 3 wounds, Terminators 4, adjust their posts a bit and give Blightlords a better ability and they’re a most perfect.

Hey, guys, a little tip for Death Guard players: never use cloud of flies on Mythitic Blight Haulers. They have Smoke keyword, so they can be targeted by Smokescreen stratagem. It costs exactly the same, but has two mayor advantages:
1) It gives benefit of cover as well as Stealth, while Cloud of Flies gives only stealth.
2) It allows you to use cloud of flies in the same phase on another target as you haven't used it yet. And Smokescreen itself can be used only on Haulers and generic tanks: Rhino, Predator, Ladraider. So if you don't use predators, you don't have to keep Smokescreen for later.

Should have saved the cp and charged in with the blight drone on Calgar. Then use tank shock.
Potential 6 mortals and the drone has a ok melee wep.
Ultramarine player forgets a lot about twinlinked weapons. Balistus twin lascannon no rerolls, Calgar shooting no rerolls. Maybe i am wrong because of shortcuts but if not he loses a lot of chances to wound. Good game, love to watch and learn.

Invictor isn't even close to the best tank shock in the game, that goes to the Cerastus Lancer, its a free stratagem for that unit and you'll be rolling about 22 dice (whereas the tactical warsuit is only 16)

Technically speaking, Mortarion may be smarter that Guilliman, because he made the plague burst crawler, Mephitic blight hauler, bloat drone, Deathshroud, and so on, Guilliman just organized his troops. And im not saying that because im a DG fanboy.

I dont understand the need to go Dev doctrine when Calgar gives the BG advance shoot and charge with his inspiring leader ability.
You did not need to waste dev doctrine so the bladeguard could do their action. That is literally what calgar gives them. Permanent all 3 doctrines.
Use lance on that bladeguard charge! Wounding on 5’s then and +1 ap for assault doctrine
