- Soviet Megafortress is finally here. I know you've been wanting one since I did the German fort last year. So today I'm happy to present your request. Set in the mountains, Soviets engineered this insanely powerful fort, built to defend and withstand against everything. The whole complex includes its own AA batteries, Naval artillery, AT guns, powerplant, landing strip, railroad and of course the motherland bravest warriors. Meanwhile, Germans attempt an assault from three directions, including their mountain troops, even brought in the heaviest tanks but is it enough?
Will this fort fall or stay impenetrable? There's only one way to find out!

This is pretty much what the Germans faced in the opening phase of Operation Zitadel at Kursk in 1943. German panzer divisions found themselves in a sea of anti-tank fire and many of the Tiger tanks and Ferdinands were hit up to 300 times during the heavy fighting kn and around Prokhorovka.

I love watching these types of videos
I would have had the Stukas continuously do bombing runs, have bf 109s do straffing runs, have the Panzers focus their fire on single location of the fort. Maybe have some of them as decoys. Then once the section of the fort has been exploited focus on taking out the guns but not the fort. So you protect your men, you want your enemy have the idea that the fort is secure, what they don't know, is it will be their coffin. With the bottle neck you can start picking them off slowly.
Against 1946 USSR? Sounds like a death sentence for me to use.

This is great! I like how you added Messerschmitt bombers. And making the walls out of brick, pretty smart! This mega fortress is better than the German one. I also like the fact you added another level of brick wall. But… I’m not so sure about the artillery. It would be better if they were in bunkers or at least had some sandbags surrounding them. It would cast more protection for the most important weapon for the Red Army. And MAYBE… you could add a massive amount of Katyusha Missile Trucks from the inside of the mega fortress so it could give support to the flak guns! And maybe you could add Soviet machine gunners (unless you added them) on the very top with the same protection ideas I had for the artillery guns. Those can possibly work and make the Soviet’s defences higher than expected!

The offensive tactics of the Wehrmacht are ridiculous. It is obvious that only the Mörser Karl or Gustav are capable of dealing with such an insanely protected fortress.
