That is awesome work Steven!! Really turned out fantastic. Love magnum PI and you did a wonderful job with both the van and the Ferrari. Maybe the James Bond’s Aston? I’m not sure what you’ve built. I’ll have to go check out the movie and tv cars. Or the Edsel from Used Cars. 😂. Good stuff.
Thanks for your support and kind words Kyle. The James Bond Aston Martin would be a cool build. Thanks for the suggestion. Have a blessed day my friend! 😀👍🏻
Hi, overall I was interested in looking at your model build 🙂, but some details are personally very annoying to me. The rearview mirrors are not installed correctly, the taillights are not painted correctly, the door handles are not black, but silver. Also, this model came out more similar to the 1980 Vanagon that was at the beginning of the TV show, which was later replaced by the 1984 Vanagon with a water-cooled engine instead of an air-cooled engine (visually the difference is most noticeable through the lower grille). I also saw that the Vanagon 80' had a sliding roof, I did not see if it was on the Vanagon 84'. The rims are incorrect for both the 80' and 84', the 80' had metal caps and the 84' had plastic (mesh) caps. Sorry for annoying you, and also for my English.😅
Thank you for sharing your thoughts and insights on the Vanagon. I knew the kit I used for this build project was not show accurate but it meet my requirements. When I build a TV model, often they are not 100% screen accurate. I build for enjoyment and reliving fond childhood memories. Have a safe and blessed day! 😀👍🏻

Makes a good reproduction of TC's van, I like the way you printed the signage on matching coloured background.
