This is exactly the same way I do my custom "decals". I found that if you don't coat them with Mod Podge before brushing on the Future Floor Finish the ink will run. I find this works well for me also when the real decals are not available.
I love the paper decal solution for some things. I’ve been using the liquid floor wax myself, as I’m afraid of any spray clear destroying some expensive decals.
