well you can see how the mind of a well rounded person works vs the shenanigans out there who don't even have reading or listening skills...and they vote accordingly like that lol.
A lot of people buy into myths. That said, you gotta be careful about what you see or read on the internet. That's why a lot of youtube videos have a disclaimer that tells you to use the info at your own risk.
I saw the first vid and I was convinced that I need to try it until I saw/read some comments saying that it’ll just attract more dust/dirt. Then I saw this follow up video. Now I’m definitely going to try it 👍
I bought My first car back in 1988 when i whas 18...I have never ever cleaned an engine. But now i will definetly try this method 😁😁👌👌 Thanks for a good video and hello to you sir from Sweden 👍👍😎😎
I don't think you had to defend your process. If someone disagrees with your idea then they don't have to do it your way. You just can't please everyone! Yours is really a good tip.
Thank you for making this video. I drive a truck and pretty much keep it clean. On my last oil change, the guy suggested I get the engine clean. So I got several price quotes and the prices are crazy high. I felt because I am a girl they quoted me such ridiculous prices - I just knew there was something out there I could use that would not cost so much. Thanks to you I didn't even have to spend so much and I even had a few cans in my garage. Please share more of your tips.
MJNicholas Hello MJ, I have not yet tried this way of cleaning my English but I plan on trying it out as soon as I get a can of it. I just wanted to mention to you that, one of my friends makes extra cash by detail cleaning other people's cars and all he does is to take it to a really good car wash place and then changes them twice as much. I believe that if he was to add this method to also clean the engine he would triple the price and they would be happy to pay for it. Being retired I may also try and do that myself. Oh I would give young ladies like you a discount, haha have a nice day.
I commend you for this and your previous video. Very honest and thorough. I have a 16 yr old Mercedes that I will look forward to cleaning. Thank you for taking the time to help all of us and God bless your son for his service to our country. And I pray for his safety.
Good job. My brother in law ran a big garage in Washington DC from the 50's through the 70's before all the electronics were used. They dampened the engine, sprinkled Tide washing powder on it and hosed it off after about 10 minutes. As long as the carb or distributor were not soaked, results were spectacular and clients were thrilled.
I watched both videos and don't see what the issue is other than a lot people are misinformed or do not have the knowledge or skill to figure out something so simple. This is a quick simple way to clean your engine and I'm going out to buy some tire foam today and clean my engine, something I've been putting off so thank you for the video.
great video bud. I was about to buy expensive p21 wash but saw your vids and decided to use this method. Everything I was concerned about was explained and shown in this vid, thanks man, u saved me around 30 dlls.
Great video brother , always good to learn something new , people pay to have this type of work done so it's always a plus to learn how to do it yourself. Thanks for sharing
To be honest - even if this had been a complete engine detailing video, spending hours getting every single component to a spit shine, there will always be somebody who thinks "their" method is superior to yours and how your method and engine cleaning sux. These people have a superiority complex - hence they are trolls. I for one, appreciate your honesty and integrity. You can't get any more straightforward on the simplicity of your car engine cleaning method than you just did. Kudos and Thank you for doing this video. I'm going to give it a go.
I think your engine cleaning video is awesome! I really thought your explanation to all the idiots in the 2nd video is priceless!! You are totally my kind of person!! Thanks again !
dude i just came across your videos and this was funny hearing you debunk all of the negative commenters. just goes to show you how much people DON'T LISTEN and DON'T READ. HAHAHA! Either way this is better than doing nothing and i would say it came out dam good. Salute to you and your son for serving our country.
Engine efficiency eliminating the dirt and grime residue that compromises performance and inhibits electronics. Thanks for showing us one of many ways to achieve this. Just applied the Armorall Tire Foam to a high mileage Ford CVPI that last had an engine treatment when acquired 14 years ago from the auctioneer car lot. Confident that the motor and components are enhanced in every way. Electrical boxes, wire connections, and fluid bottles are OEM sealed against rain water and mechanics working on the car overspilling and spraying whatever products they use. Started right up after the process. I'm in the Sunbelt where the climate requires treating rubber tires, belts, hoses, etc from the elements.
Watched first video with interest. My truck engine compartment is very very dusty. Not cleaned in almost three years since I purchased. This follow is very good answering concerns I had. Will try this method in spring. Well done!!!!
Nice vid. Yes it works. Some people think it works on oil leaks & things but it's for general light cleaning. Any fluid leaks would need a stronger kind of cleaning. Again it definitely does as advertised, cleans & restores. 👍
Hey this is a great idea. I washed the first video I'll share this with with friends and family this will help the lazy and this will help seniors they can't reach in there that are meticulous so thanks for the idea And God bless you and your family and a safe return for your son👍🇺🇸
Thanks for the follow up, excellent information. I used on my 2001 Mercedes SLK 320 (49,700 miles). I did a little more detailed cleaning in hard to get to places. My engine compartment looks like new!!!
Tomorrow I will be making my engine look as good as the rest of my truck! I don't care if no one sees it but me! Thanks again, I've been wanting to clean the engine for a long time, just too cautious to spray it the engine with water. I think you explained things very well.
Hey Mack, I just saw your 1st video and was planning on giving it a shot and then saw you had updated the 1st one so I clicked on it before making a comment. Well I got a kick out of your 2nd video because some people are so ungrateful that all they can do is criticize other people's videos but not make any themselves. I thought that you are quite the gentleman to even bother to respond to all those anness. I had given some thoughts to doing a few videos myself but after looking at people's comments I just said to myself the heck with it. I am planning on trying your method of cleaning my engine, thanks for posting
The thing about making videos is lots of people love to pick them apart and criticize whatever it happens to be about but I suppose it just comes with the territory. Thanks for watching and maybe go ahead and make some yourself. Who knows, you may become a youtube star! 👍👍
Great job. I just purchased an older 2011 F150 with 225,000 miles and I’m gradually fixing all the little things. The 3.5 Ecoboost engine needs a good cleaning. I was apprehensive about doing so until I viewed your video. Your method is very helpful. I will use the Tire Foam this week. I may cloth rub the horizontals with WD40 to bring out a little shine, can’t hurt. Thank you very much!
I saw your video about using this product to clean your engine. It works. I was pleased with the outcome. I polish and clean my car's exterior and interior a lot, I am kind od ocd. I've been wanting to clean the engine and was happy with your idea.
What a brilliant idea, first time I've seen this, had to go back and watch the first one because i couldn't believe there were idiots who couldn't understand what you had already proved, you must have the patients of a saint to do that, now all I've got to do is find an equivalent here in UK, all the best and thank you sir.
@@AllAmericanMack I'll keep my eye's open for any more of your videos, you should be on a percentage from that company for all the promotional work your doing for them, keep up the good advice, Cheer's
Great job, my husband is all excited! First he can try it on his Buick then I’ll try it on my Honda and then oh my baby girl Abby! Aka GT Ford Mustang!
Just discovered this video. It really help me to save money and have a cleaner engine. Thank you very much. Just spray a whole can of amourall tyre foam and close the hood.
I watched your first video and was so impressed because I've been afraid of taking my car in and using water on it and shortening something out and I stumbled on the first video and was amazed I've also watch this video and I am going to do the same exact thing thank you and tell your son thank you for his service God bless
25 years ago I had no problem going to the carwash and using degreaser then high pressure washing my engines. But there's no way I'm doing that on my vehicles today. Even a lot of the dealerships will not high pressure wash the engines on their used cars because it was causing problems. Thank you for your support, it really means a lot!
Good day, will definitely use it on my Tacoma 2013, have never cleaned it since new. It has only 47000 miles and it doesn’t looks to dirty but still, after this almost 7 years, there’s some dust and grease. God bless you and your family, blessings.
You said it was a quick easy way to clean your engine without water or scrubbing. You succeeded! This engine is cleaner that doing nothing even though it is not show quality.
I own several cars that I'll be selling. This will help me immensely. Sorry the armchair general trolls watching your videos caused you to require a second video! Thank you!
Great Video! I got this on the first video but some people just can't understand or read anything and the first thing they do is open their mouth which was the wrong thing to do!! My Ford Escape is 8 1/2 years old and I am going to clean my engine like no tomorrow. Thank you for the information and I am subscribing so I don't miss more information in the future.
Honestly, I've never tried it personally but I'm sure will bec. I'm a car enthusiast and love tips like this that don't require much effort to save time and spent more time on other things and always stay positive and don't mind negative energy and thanks for spending time to make effort to help others. Peace!
GREAT VIDEO! I really enjoyed the explanation and how you mentioned the negative comments you had in your other video and found a response for each. Thank you very much and I will be definitely using this method to clean up my engine ASAP :) I have subscribed to your channel and will be waiting to see many more videos. Thanks again.
Great Video! I am a new viewer to your channel. My sports car is over 20 years old (92 Nissan 240sx) has been sitting up for about 6 years. I was just watching different videos trying to find the easiest way to clean my engine so I can get it back on the road.
Thanks for watching. I recently cleaned the engine with a steamer and it's *a lot of work* I'm probably just sticking with the tire foam lol. ruclips.net/video/UqGRMc3KsFM/видео.html
Thanks for this follow up. I figured the first video was good valid advice, but appreciate not needing to worry about the naysayers. I'm not a car person, but even I know the difference between tire foam and tire shine.
I have a car show coming up in 3 weeks. I was looking for a proven way to clean a slightly dusty engine without water. Thanks for the video! I'm definitively going to go this route!
I hate cleaning, so much more with an automobile engine, for me you did a great job cleaning minus the strenuous scrubbing or wiping! 👍👍👍👍Just ignore the bashers...
Easiest and most economical method to clean and protect under the hood! Can't wait to try it myself! Reading some of the comments, i believe cleaning would be even more effective if engine bay blown with compressed air before and after foam application. Appreciate you sharing such a valuable and easy detailing method! Thank you and your family for your services to our country. BTW, it is cool that you, your father, and son all have the same truck.
Good video. Nice job. There will always be nay-sayers no matter what anyone tries to do. Thank you for posting this. I will be using tire foam next time I clean my engine.
Thanks for the video. I will pick up a several cans and try it on a couple project vehicles. I am going to play with a couple different ways like using a brush and maybe even pressure washing first. I really like the idea that it provides protection for the plastic. Very good idea.
The manual for our 2010 hatchback says don't spray water on the engine - I guess many modern cars would be the same. So I'm going to try this. And we have an old VW Vanagon - I bet the engine in that could use some cleaning - make it easier to spot those oil and coolant leaks... Great follow-up to an already great video. Thank you from Manchester, England.
Mack that is a great tip. I like making things simple, quick and easy. It's a perfect idea for saving time AND effort. Too many other things require attention than to be rubbing or scrubbing our vehicle's engine. It' open to the elements and road dust anyway so keeping it spotless is overkill and obsessing with being pretty. Great tip and video proof. Thanks
You are exactly right. If I had show vehicle, that would be one thing. But for a daily driver, there's no way I'm spending the time for engine detailing when it will continue to get dirty from normal driving. Thanks for watching.
Thanks for the video. Definitely going to try this. A note about water. I did have a 94 Cutlass Ciera that I quite often used the engine cleaner and water rinse at the local car wash. I NEVER covered anything when doing this. I didn't concentrate the water spray onto any components but stayed back some and let the water "rain" onto the engine to rinse it. After rinsing, I would immediately start and drive the car. I never had a bit of problem doing this.
I agree that water wasn't a problem on the older vehicles, I also frequently rinsed my vehicles with the high pressure for many years. I wouldn't use it on newer engines though.
Hello Mack I just wanted to let you know that, I tried out your method for easily cleaning under the hood of your vehicle yesterday , after I picked up a can of Tire Foam at the store, about $4.50 as I had never tried this product before. I used it on my wife's 2009 Acura MDX and it worked out great. My 2007 Honda Ridgeline was hot and I didn't think that it was a good idea to spray the Tire From on it. In the morning I showed it to my wife and she said Ok what am I looking at. Not realizing that she never looked under the hood of her car before . I showed her the difference between her clean engine and my dirty engine and she replied oh wow that is a big difference. I'm planning on doing mine tomorrow. Thanks for sharing
Hey, great to hear you like the way it worked! That's funny about your wife only because mine would be the exact same way lol, never has seen the inside of an engine bay! Thanks for watching and good luck! 👍👍
Do not worry about those comments like in Amazon. They are here after marketplaces. Soon, it will be impossible to buy something on Amazon, just because of those negative commenting people. I think this is a kind of psychological situation. I liked the idea of using Tire Foam. It is self explanatory that it is for tires, which are supposed to be protected not get hard, So the hose and plastic in the engine bay.
Just got a mustang around 4 months ago and was researching how to detail the engine bay safely and efficiently and after watching this video, I am heading out to get some of this tire foam myself. I am sold. You were very informative and to the point. Good video man.
Important to note is that a clean engine runs cooler ,less chance of over heating provided of course that coolant is full !! Great idea , going to try that for sure as here in northern Canada, we have a lot of winter salt to deal with !! Hard on engines and all rubbers !! TKS !!
I fried this on my 03 silverado 2500hd. It looks like a new one! Thanks. Just for kicks my wife's 05 buick Lacrosse had yellow dull headlights. I sprayed this stuff on them and wiped off after 5 min. and then resprayed and let it on them. I couldn't believe how much clearer they were. It may not last long but we'll see.
This is a great video and an excellent follow up one - this is teh way for me. Literally anyone can do this... and save lots of time and money - I can also do this twice per year to keep my cars engines nice andclean!! Brian ( Bronx, NY)
Thank you so much for your video and explanation. Please ignore those who always unnecessary criticize. That person can't make a single video to help others but very easy to criticize others. Please keep up the good work. Thanks
Good follow-up to the first video, which I also watched. I have a 2018 Ford and try to keep the engine bay as clean as possible and so far it looks like new. I've considered steam heat but am concerned that the high temperature could damage plastic parts and because steam condenses to water, it could get into electrical plugs and might play havoc - so I don't use steam heat. But using the Tire Foam seems like an excellent choice and seeing your two videos it obviously cleans very well. I'm going to give this method a try. Thanks for making these two videos and sharing this method ! And, I just subscribed !
You go BOYYYY🤸🏽♂️💃🏻 you did a super fantastic job of explaining an update-what I liked about it most was women -will probably prefer this method versus the water spray and the scrubbing etc we do enough of that in the house LoL I myself are one of those women who likes her engine clean
Hate that you have to go through and explain shit to these knuckle heads. It's a hellava way to clean-ish and engine fast with as little work at possible. AND thank you for trying to help people out... it's a rare thing indeed. You're awesome pal, keep at it!
Nice job! I never though of using tire foam, but it makes perfect sense to me! You can tell people, show them and stomp up and down, you will always have idiots that think they know better. (I've done it myself to other people) BTW, thanks for supporting your son's decision to serve our country in the USArmy!
Thanks for your video. I actually did the same thing for an engine of a car I recently purchased. I didn't have access to a water sprayer and I wanted to clean the engine. I had a can of tire and wheel foam so I tried that and it worked so well. I sprayed the foam and let it sit for a few minutes and then i rinsed it off with a water hose. But after seeing your video i see i do not have to rinse it. The foam does a great job and the finish has a newness look.
I've sprayed it off a few times and I'm sure it does help get it a little cleaner but the tire foam does such a good job I just leave it. Thanks for watching. 👍
I liked the way you proved the critics wrong based on facts and demonstration. Good job.
VicMun100 great follow-up video, I wish more people made these!
indeed lmao 😂 xD
Pretty sad that you had to make a follow up. Some folks are just unable to understand no matter how much you try to explain. Your a good man.

Excellent way of cleaning engine, very smart I will definately try as I nevet clean my engine since I bought the car 5 years back.
Thank you I think you did a great job showing how this tire foam works. Keep up the great work!
Too many other things require attention than to be rubbing or scrubbing
our vehicle's engine.
You really didn't need to make another video. Your fault is listening to negative comments. There is more positive comments than negatives.
Thank you.
I am going out to buy a couple cans, have 2 engines to do! Great video, thanks for posting!
You still have a great attitude!. I think that spray foam section with the rag before and after should be running in the stores.
Thank you, I appreciate it.
Thank you! I saw both videos. Far safer than using water in my opinion.
Hello Mack
I just wanted to let you know that, I tried out your method for easily cleaning under the hood of your vehicle yesterday , after I picked up a can of Tire Foam at the store, about $4.50 as I had never tried this product before.
Thank you for sharing your knowledge and helping car owners, from Australia.
Great original video and a mature thoughtful and researched follow up !
Thank YOU for the great tip can’t wait to try it. Bless you my man
Just got a mustang around 4 months ago and was researching how to detail the engine bay safely and efficiently and after watching this video, I am heading out to get some of this tire foam myself.
TKS !!
now i can clean my 13 yr old chevy! thanks for this helpful content!👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Fantastic. Learned something today. God bless you, your son n the whole family
Thank you and the same to you!
Thanks, that's interesting to know about the headlights.👍👍
This is a great video and an excellent follow up one - this is teh way for me. Literally anyone can do this... and save lots of time and money - I can also do this twice per year to keep my cars engines nice andclean!! Brian ( Bronx, NY)
Thanks for watching!👍👍👍
Thank you so much for your video and explanation. Please ignore those who always unnecessary criticize. That person can't make a single video to help others but very easy to criticize others. Please keep up the good work. Thanks
Thank you for clearing it all up and where we can trust the use of the tire foam, than you again.
You go BOYYYY🤸🏽♂️💃🏻 you did a super fantastic job of explaining an update-what I liked about it most was women -will probably prefer this method versus the water spray and the scrubbing etc we do enough of that in the house LoL
I myself are one of those women who likes her engine clean
Great explanation. The product as it suds-up it must lift the dirt off and as you continue to spray, it rinses off.
Better than using degreaser and water in my opinion, thank you for video, thumbs up from the U.K
Hate that you have to go through and explain shit to these knuckle heads. It's a hellava way to clean-ish and engine fast with as little work at possible. AND thank you for trying to help people out... it's a rare thing indeed. You're awesome pal, keep at it!
It’s all good brother. I did exactly what you show on your Video. It’s came out great. Anyway thank you again for your time again.
Dear sir
Thanks for very informative videos.
(BEST WISHES FROM PAKISTAN)
Well done, Sir! Thank you for the tip RUclips is a miracle a lot of smart people with helpful ideas!
Thanks for watching!
Bloody hell I ain't that bright, but both of these video's were crystal clear to me, thanks for posting
Nice job! I never though of using tire foam, but it makes perfect sense to me!
You can tell people, show them and stomp up and down, you will always have idiots that think they know better. (I've done it myself to other people) BTW, thanks for supporting your son's decision to serve our country in the USArmy!
Exactly well said !!!!
Nice and simply cleaning! Im from the Philippines, ill try this ... 😊
I worked your mabic on my 2 vehicles and they look like new, THANK YOU!!!
Do you have anymore tricks up your sleeve?
