Thanks for the video, I was looking at these online because the amount of bike you get for the price is way more than anything else on the market for me. But after watching the video I think it might be too small. I'll have to test ride it to be sure but it looks like a mini bike with you on it. Im 6feet and 240 with 34 inseam.
200cm or 6'7" for those of us that don't use metric system. I put 7.62cm or 3" risers, T-rex forward controls, Burlybrand stiletto shocks, and a Corbin Custom Dual seat on mine and it rides just fine. Note that I have a 34 inch inseam, 35 with boots.
5 feet so 152 cm is quite small. The 1100 has 700 mm seat height. I would have liked to see whether the lady comes with both feet completely on the ground, so stands safely. The 1100 is the only touring machine suitable for small women because it offers a seat (as an extra configuration at Honda) that shifts the rider 2.5 cm forward which is a big difference in riding comfort for small people. Because otherwise one is with elongated arms on the road which can be very exhausting. In addition, the 1100 offers much more power than the 500 and Honda has a touring package for it in the program. Plus the really good price compared to an Indian or Harley. Thanks for the video.
I'm 5 feet and have done thousands of miles long trips on my Rebel 1100, it fits me very well. You aren't not limited to a small bike though, just takes some extra practice to ride something big. I have been spending the last few weeks riding around a giant 900lb Vulcan Voyager, and I can handle it ok after some practice. Its about technique, not size and strength.
I am the exact same size and weight as you. I put TREX forward controls on my bike and 2” ROX risers. Made a huge difference in comfort level. Also put a Corbin seat on!
im 6ft 230lbs. Probably the max size for the bike. I hunch over juuuuust slightly but i actually love that feeling. I like that this bike feels a little small. Its very sporty for a cruiser and feels like it when i ride mine. Love my bike!
Am 5.11 and 240lbs and she pulls me well and i fit great, juat got 2 in risers and i am cruusing, well is a bitnaporty so that is debatable. Very happy.
So is this a comfortable fit for a woman? 5’1, 125? I noticed she didn’t take it off the kickstand, is the weight manageable for her to flat foot and keep it upright with little effort?
She did not because she has no motorcycle experience and did not feel comfortable. You should be able to flat foot it and have control. It’s not a heavy bike.
Can u do a video on the 1100 vs the 500? As for a first bike/beginners? I don’t want any 300s cause I don’t want to out grow it fast. I’ve been driving stick for 10+ years, super safe driver. Just want something to last me long. Would the 500 be enough for me just going to work in town and maybe some freeways? Or would it be a waste of money for the 500 and up to the 1100 for the full package? Cause it’s only another 2k…
There is some noticeable decline in the acceleration when riding 2 up but it’s not bad. The ninja 400 struggled a lot but I don’t see it as much with the rebel 1100
same exact situation. we are so fucked when it comes to motorcycles, I guess we have to save money for a big Harley these cost well over 23k I never had a bike before and.I always liked Honda, I fall in love with the 500 when I saw it in person, then found out it was too small for me, but 1100 is no different. I thought the same thing! It looks ok but Bigger will be looks awsome ! Nice review though, for showing the comparison how it looks from taller to shorter. I might probobly get this bike
Thanks man, best video on how the bike fits based on the two examples shown.

How about Vance and Hines exhaust
You need to make a video for us 😅
@@8Jallin I no longer have the Rebel 1100 as I switched to the Harley-Davidson Pan America for added leg room and speed.

I’ll have to look into them. I find that rising longer than 1.5 hours gets uncomfortable. Thanks for the info!
How does the bike handle with the r Rex risers?

I finally found someone my size and how I would look on it. 😎 Thanx
great! I am about your height and weight, sat on one a month ago. Will jump on it as soon as i seel my 300... thanks for the quick review.
Thks . Very good information for a short rider ...🤙🤙👍👍
Thanks for the vid mate. The wife will appreciate it!
Oh wow I'm 1.6 m or 5' 4'' that looks a really cool bike
She need to stand the bike up like u did. I’m 5”1 I wanna see her feet position.
Looks like the perfect size for me!
Dude, that bike looks like a little scooter with you on it.
Sat on one but the pegs are no where close, to being comfy. Move them both forward about 6". Small tank, needs rear seat etc.
Im the same size. 6 feet and 200 pounds. Wouldnt mind some highway pegs to stretch the legs out but its fine

This is very comfortable... I'm 5' and the Rebel 1100 is very easy to ride.
Great video, new subscriber
Thanks for the sub!
Thank you ... 👍
Im 1,73m (5' 6 i believe) and rebel 1100 its a perfect fit for me
you're 5'8 and a half
@@Urban_Fragments tks to correct me, we dont use this kind of measure in my country
Forward controls and raise the bars and it would be perfect,
I am 6'2”. I think this model could work for me. There is a very marked difference between this model and the Honda Rebl 500? Greetings!
You might be a little cramped on it without forward controls.

I don’t have access to a 500 right now but as soon as I do, I will make the video.
I got the lady's height but what is the guy's height?
6 feet
@@l-tizzle 👍
What's her inseam?
25 inches, 63.5cm
She never got it off the kick stand, so not a very good representation of her stance.
The weight capacity of the bike says 346 lbs. It'd seem that you and her are approaching that number 2-up. Do you feel like the bike is struggling?
There is some noticeable decline in the acceleration when riding 2 up but it’s not bad. The ninja 400 struggled a lot but I don’t see it as much with the rebel 1100
Where’d you get the headlamp cover from looks sleek
I have another video on my channel showing all the details of where I got it!
What is That bag is the gas tank? Looks cool.
It’s a SW-motech legend gear tank bag!
You really make me want a bike! It probably needs to happen.
You won’t ever regret it!
Forward controls?
In the future. Hopefully soon
May i ask how much you paid OTD/Estimate or Anyone else?
11500, I did over pay a bit due to availability.
Nope. Too small for you. That means it'd be WAAAAY to tiny for me.
6' 3" with long legs. I think I better look elsewhere (although it sounds like the prefect beginner's bike).

@@8JallinHow about Indian Bobber ?
nah dude you need a bigger one like Indian scout bobber
Is the Indian scout bigger?

The bike looks like a toy for your size. Your wife looks better on it, fits her size.

It looks a bit small for yourself
I really like the bike, but you're too big for it.
Your bike better in manual.
Im 188cm (non retard mesure units) and after 25mins in the saddle my butt is numb….
Its not comfortable …… im selling it.
Thanks, that's exactly what I wanted to know
We can not only divide by halves, but also absolute thirds and quarters. A metric country never put a man on the moon.
@@THunt-ss4hy you’re in for a treat when you find out NASA and SpaceX etc use the metric system 😂
Metric units put a man on the moon. Retard units actually caused an expedition to fail. Educate yourself kid
So definitely not big enough for a man...
It is a little small, but it doesn’t stop you from having a ton of fun on the bike! Kinda like a grom I guess..
It’s basically a girls motorcycle.
