5 Reasons Why I Chose the Rebel 1100 (unbiased owner review)
Just required mine last month the bike is fantastic so smooth and quick definitely worth the money
I racked my brain trying to think of a way to keep the wind from hitting me and not push me around so much, how can I go at higher speeds more comfortably? then it hit me, buy a car or truck because that's what motorcycles do, if you don't like the wind, get yourself a truck.
Nice thumbnail lol
my grom is built for street and still does great off road, such an amazing little bike, I don’t ever see myself selling mine
You've been riding about an year and want to give advice? And on Rebel? What's your weight and do you ride alone? What a joke!!! I am out at 50 seconds.
That was fun. Thank you.
I like the Grom off-road adventure. Good times!
Ive been thinking about getting the rebel 1100 simply because it offers a dct model and bc im afraid of learning manual lol. 😅 Im 5'-0 tall and like 110 lbs Is this a good choice for my first beginner bike? I really want it. Open to your opinion guys
Good for tiny people.
Whats your height/weight?
6 feet, 205 lbs
Why am I struggling to install this on my 24 1100
Big tumbs down. you show your colors vour easy, aint a harley bro, its a honda,, water cooled, you dont need an engine tempeture guage, i ride in SoCal and never needed it, When you got the bike you saw the foot controls, why winny about it now ???. I thought you were gona talk about the real issues with the bike, but end up with a silly pitty party of a weekend wana be biker.
On the beter road than this one could be much beter. is bumpy where you riding at the moment.
Rpm?
That test was done on a flat road with no curves or bumps. I get severe wobbles all the time during city highway rides.
Best feeling pulling the bike out a little early!
Bro you got a very good deal. I was looking at the bobber and the Sporster S and I was told by numerous dealers i wouldn’t leave the stand with any of those 2 bikes for less than $20K. So I decided next year I will be hunting a Honda Rebel 1100 just like yours. $11.5K with cruise control, riding modes, piggy back shocks, showa forks etc….. it’s a very very amazing price. My wallet will not feel like it’s been massively raped.
I CARNT GET MORE THAN 108 OUT OF MINE
It will let you know if the bike begans to overheat. I have noticed the engine runs suprising cool. Sure the fan is gonna kick on, but you could ride in shorts and your legs are barely gonna feel the heat. I like that it doesnt have forward controls, but the mid controls is has is very cramped for a taller rider. The speed limiter can be fixed with an ecu flash or a speed healer. But i would get rid of the crappy stock tires before creeping to much higher than 100mph.
Flash ur bike . So u can go faster
May I ask what dealer you went to? I live in Utah valley and was curious if the dealer is located near anywhere in Utah valley. Thanks
Young Powersports in Ogden
I was just scrolling through videos on RUclips and happened to come acrossed this video. It caught me by surprise seeing back roads of the area I grew up in on RUclips. Thanks for the video man. Stay safe out there.
Adding a windscreen helps a lot with that sudden jerk
That bike is going to be huge for a lot of people as it weighs over 500 pounds. Great bike but no one needs 1000cc to start out.
Mine is smooth as glass up to 97 MPH with Michelin Commander 3's with OEM Tires started to get a bit shaky at 88-90 MPH
Thanks for the video, I was looking at these online because the amount of bike you get for the price is way more than anything else on the market for me. But after watching the video I think it might be too small. I'll have to test ride it to be sure but it looks like a mini bike with you on it. Im 6feet and 240 with 34 inseam.
I was excited when these first came out until I sat on one. Also 6' and 240 lbs. Felt like a mini bike. At 61 years old, no way could I ride it for more than half hour at a time.
im 6ft 230lbs. Probably the max size for the bike. I hunch over juuuuust slightly but i actually love that feeling. I like that this bike feels a little small. Its very sporty for a cruiser and feels like it when i ride mine. Love my bike!
My 2024 1100 rebel is fun to ride!! I put CRASHBARS so i can put my feets in the front! Change the seat ! And i fck with the engine so my goes to 132mph!! And i love it!!
Am 5.11 and 240lbs and she pulls me well and i fit great, juat got 2 in risers and i am cruusing, well is a bitnaporty so that is debatable. Very happy.
I really like the bike, but you're too big for it.
The wind makes it more visible there not less
Engin temp,?
You're driving your motorcycle like it's a car :). You can wait much longer before you shift. Not sure about the Rebel but the scout will happily pull you all the way to 8k RPM. You don't need to shift so early.
Great video!!! I'm on the fence between the Rebel1100 and Vulcan S. I've sat in both. The Rebel seemed to sit better and felt great. The more research I do and videos like yours are making my decision making MUCH easier!! Ride safe!!
Why would you buy a bike and it be governed? That makes as much sense as a wing on the rear of a front wheel drive
My scout rogue does 0-60 in 3 flat.
There’s an oil dipstick that has an oil temp built in. Not sure how accurate it is but might be worth it.
Ciao.
Hey there, is this bike suitable for a daily rider (going to work, and monthly long distance rides etc)? Especially for people who only have time and money for just 1 bike?
Im the same size. 6 feet and 200 pounds. Wouldnt mind some highway pegs to stretch the legs out but its fine
would a head cowl help with the aerodynamics? maybe that causes the wobble?
Like your video mate,. Question for ya, can you add a windshield to combat the wind from hitting your chest?
why have you stopped making the videos fella? i have enjoyed the Rebel series.
Thank you! I have had some life events happen recently that have caused me to put the videos on hold. I should be able to roll some new videos out within a month!
here in England we are not even allowed to carry a decent knife.
I carry a pistol, 4 mags and a big ass blade. I dare someone to fuk with me
I am 6'2”. I think this model could work for me. There is a very marked difference between this model and the Honda Rebl 500? Greetings!
You might be a little cramped on it without forward controls.
I chose the manual, too. My 1100 is my first bike, and I think it's awesome!
I’m a new rider just got my license so I think this might be mine as well because I don’t want to deal with the whole gear and stall😂
Great video, new subscriber
Thanks for the sub!
Forward controls?
In the future. Hopefully soon
Put knobbies on mine and made a world of difference, so fun
nice review - a lot said but still staying on point, unlike most other people out there discussing a bike
Thanks man!
