    This is the 2020-2021 model. I had the same. The Grom has a refresh this year in 2023 along with the msx. Paid 1.4k USD for it, a 2nd bike with 900km on it. Still using it till date. Now averaging at 95.4 km/L for fuel consumption. Best errand bike I had.

    • @GizmoSheep
      @GizmoSheep Год назад

      damn, 95.4km/l?? How?

    • @thefellcor
      @thefellcor Год назад +2

      @@GizmoSheep remain constant speed, below 60km per hour. But must be above 40km per hour.
      Get to fifth gear asap when starting off from a stop, and remain there unless there is a need to reduce speed to match gears.
      Do not use brakes. Use engine brake to slow down, or approaching a corner. Brakes kill inertia which would move the bike without fuel, but people usually like to go fast and brake hard, which results in inefficiency. Since without brakes, one would need to master control of the bike more and be more self aware of traffic and to predict them, making one a better rider. Unless facing a emergency situation, use brakes sparingly.
      Use free wheeling when going down a long mountain, it saves more fuel than engine brake since free wheeling is consuming fuel at idleing rate, it maintains speed or even gain speed, compared to engine braking (doesn't consume fuel but loses speed), arriving at the bottom of a slope but with an uphill slope approaching, one would need acceleration at low gear, which negates the fuel gain saved. This should be done at speeds you are comfortable with, going down a steep slope at 65km/hour free wheeling is dangerous, so keep it around a speed you can manage.

      @@thefellcorI have a 2021 grom with 40,500km traveled in two years, do not lie to people, 97km/L is impossible, what you have written cannot be done in any real case, only in your imagination, going down a 100km hill, that does not exist Your stupid and false comment is simply shameful, the most you can do with this wonderful motorcycle is 50-60km per liter, trying hard, the normal thing is about 40 km per liter at the real pace of real life, not yours, which is false

    • @l-tizzle
      @l-tizzle  Год назад +2
