    In this video, I'm breaking down a recent 2022 update of ahrefs vs Semrush so that you have the complete breakdown of which will be best for your business.
    There are so many SEO tools these days, and my team tests A LOT of them, but ahrefs & Semrush have been mainstays in the SEO industry for years. I figured it best to create a real overview of each one, with their benefits & flaws so that you could truly understand which would be best for your business.
    At my SEO agency, we use both tools EVERY SINGLE DAY and both have their benefits. Each can be used to have massive SEO success. So I'm going to show you the benefits of both, and which one takes the cake, Semrush vs ahrefs for 2022.

    So helpful Chris. Content is excellent and Delivery was great and engaging. Just subscribed. Ahref looks really good but I guess well keep SEM Rush. A lot of the things you went over in SEM Rush I didn't even know existed LOL

    the conclusion for this video is if you focused on SEO only is better to use ahrefs. But if you need all in one digital marketing tools, semrush is better.

    Hi Chris, very good video to learn on both Ahrefs and Semrush, like everyone I enjoyed watching it. I do have a question, do Semrush plans come with Credit Limits, like Ahrefs plans do. Ahrefs, no matter which plans you buy it comes with credit limits which means if you clicked most of any links, keywords or adjusted filters it will cost 1 credit, no time you will run out of 500 credits, and YES after that, you could buy 500 more credit for $35 so each time you use up the 500 credits you need to buy more. So that $99 plan, could become $135, $170, or $200 in a month. If you are not ready to spend from $100 to $200 a month on a $99 plan, please check out other options just to compare so you are not shocked with the credit limit, like I was within 10 days after I bought the Ahrefs. Ahrefs staff or Chris are welcome to correct me if I said anything which is not correct here.

    • @ChrisMarrano
      @ChrisMarrano  9 месяцев назад +1

      I believe they do, but the $99/mo plan will 100% be enough if you're a small business. It tracks thousands of keywords, a number of projects, etc. You really won't need anything more.

    I'm getting into SEO, been a dev for 4 years and have a couple of clients. Are these tools absolutely needed? Thank you!

    • @ChrisMarrano
      @ChrisMarrano  Год назад +2

      Hey Steve! Thanks for your comment. Honestly, you can start out with analytics and GSC but at some point you’ll definitely need one of them. I’d pick SEMrush just because of its versatility. Let me know if you have any questions about either of them.

    I’m getting into Local SEO specialization for doctors (In Australia). Which tool do you think is better for Local?
    I’ve seen a video on the AHrefs YT channel where they show how to filter keywords ONLY by those which appear in the Local Pack (meaning that Google sees those terms as having a “local” search relevance). Does SEMrush have something similar?

    • @ChrisMarrano
      @ChrisMarrano  Год назад +2

      Honestly I would go with SEMrush. It does the same thing. You can pick different local areas, and have the option for listings management through yext

    Both have some drawbacks if you are a tiny company that can only afford their basic-level subscriptions. Having said that, the available information is vital for our site.

    which tool would you recommended for in-depth keyword research and competitor analysis? Ahrefs or Semrush?

  • @nicolaschevalier6916
    @nicolaschevalier6916 Год назад

    I have never heard anything about the 500 credits per month regarding Ahrefs. And it's quite important because if you exhaust all your credits in the first week, it can become expensive. Do you know if SEMrush has a similar limitation?

    • @ChrisMarrano
      @ChrisMarrano  Год назад +1

      No SEMrush is standard pricing. It does cost money for their API and if you want more than 1,000 keywords, etc. but for one site or 10, you’re good!

    • @ChrisMarrano
      @ChrisMarrano  Год назад

      Hey Marvin! I’ve used Buzzsumo but can’t really compare to ahrefs as we don’t use it in our daily tech stack. I honestly just don’t have enough experience in it to say one versus the other

    Feedback: if you're doing a review, you can't just say "X is better" without actually saying why.
    Why is Ahref's Site Audit better? To me, I'd say Semrush's better.
