SUPER GREAT video. Subscribed. I'm an semi-amateur SEO specialist and looking and finding the best tools to use can be frustrating (especially with the big expensiveeeee ones.. ahrefs, semrush, etc.) So I've subscribed and looking forward for more videos! Especially one who to "link it all together". You know some people talk about the keyword search tools but not the content creation (especially now with GPT) or tracking, or migrating to GA4 (which was a hasssleee) or solving for example Google Search Console errors like not indexing and other etc etc etc. Hoping to find great content here! Again, subscribed and looking forward for more good content! (Great presentation btw)

Ahrefs should definitely be ninja. Since you're an affiliate of Semrush, this seems kinda biased. Also, Ahrefs video tutorials and youtube videos are more resourceful than any Semrush content.

Keywords Everywhere. How is the pricing "confusing"? Seems quite clear on their site and affordable and it I'd think a pay as you go credit system is far better on the pocket than a flat rate monthly subscription. 🤷🏾♂️

Can you suggest any free tools as well for people who are just starting up.
Hey Vishal, many of these tools offer free versions. You may just have to use more free tools to get the same effect as one "all-in-one" paid tool - Jess
One workaround is to use free trials for some of the mentioned tools and do as much research as possible during the trial period (you can trial Semrush for FREE using thankyouninjas.com)
Are there any good tools for comparing traffic between websites?
Yep! Semrush's Traffic Analysis tool lets you compare sites and their traffic/keyword coverage 🙂
The only reason why ahref ddnt get to ninja is because Ahref doest have any affiliate commission.. thats why creator always put semrush as if they are better tool than ahrefs. :)
Having used them all, Semrush is BY FAR the better tool. There have been periods where Ahrefs, Moz, etc were the top tool but Semrush's toolset is stronger than all of the others combined.
It would be better if you show longer the final version of your comparison table at the end.

Websites and pricing change a lot in two years. I can't remember how it was set up then, but it was a correct assessment at the time. I'm delighted if it's better now though!

Really interesting list, but how about doing one for just free (or ***VERY*** low price) tools? I'm running a single person business in the health field not a big marketing company. There is no point in me spending thousands, or tens of thousands of dollars each year if I'm never going to make that back from the single site I run.

The best tool is also the one we've used for the longest and would recommend to every business, agency, consultant, or side hustler whether we were sponsored or not. Semrush is, without a doubt, the best SEO suite of tools available and has been for *_years_* .

We've used BrightEdge on and off for half a decade. It's great for some things, not great for others. It really depends on the scale of work you're doing.

But, in my very long experience working with £1m+ businesses, it's incredibly lacking compared to many of the other options in this list - especially for market intelligence, which it significantly underpeforms compared to Semrush.
