I have the same set up i like it. Some advice as i have been using them for about a year now when trying to get close like that put your truck in gear and stand next to it with the winch control and lower as the truck pulls forward slowly. The weight of the trailer and can will keep your truck from going anywhere until you release the winch. Helps me when they want it close and it's on grass and the wheels won't roll. Another way is stick 2x4 under the back wheels and slowly roll it up to the porch but you have to park a little bit away to account for the length of the can. Hope this helps
Hi there, could you have parked the dumpster at the end of his deck where you could back it up with an inches and he could throw it all in from the side of the dumpster or did he not want it there? It definitely looked difficult to get it close where are you put it but I think you did a great job seeing how it would’ve taken forever to keep walking to the end of it to get it closer. Just wondering, if sideloading from the left side of the deck would have been an option?
It may have been, but it was muddier over there and the whole thing is steeper than it appears on camera. Plus, the customer wanted it in front of the door.
I subscribe when you said Salem Indiana. I'll be serving the Lawrence County area As soon as my dumpsters come in. Wish you the best of luck and be safe out there. Corey Brummett Buy and Sell in The Sticks Removal Service
Basically, you're only using the hydraulic lift to tilt everything. The winch isn't used to dump the load, the dumpster stays latched to the trailer frame as it is lifted

Thanks for your comment! This does work good in straight, flat situations
You were going way too fast with that trailer.
All of those clips were sped up while I was driving🙂

Very nice. You you have a minute I have a couple of questions about your roll off set up. Thanks James
Yes, ask away. I'm working on a video about my setup, so I'll be sure to answer your questions.
Hi what size is your trailer? How much for the gooseneck and trailer each? Also is your truck a 2500 diesel?
My setup is 14'. The dumpsters are around $5K each average.
My 2500 truck has the 6.0 gas. It's the second one I've owned and I really like it.

Good luck to you too! Thanks for watching
When you pick it up full and go to dump the load, how does it act as a dump trailer?

Do you know if there’s an option for ramps to load equipment on these roll offs?
My local Horizon dealer does have a rolloff deck they sell. It has a dove tail, and rolls up on the trailer like a dumpster.
nice work planning on doing the side hustle soon🙏
Thank you, and the best of luck! I enjoy it, although some days are better than others. Like anything
Hello, 14' or 16' ?
