Phone of the YEAR PERIOD!!
I removed my SIM from my Galaxy s24 Ultra. I've been using the OnePlus 12 now for a couple of months. I must say it's better then i thought it would be. I think I'll hang with this phone for a couple more months.
Please could you Gimme one phone pls am using my mom's phone
@@OkaforIfeyinwa-zl6pw no don't give him
@@cybercop3108 why am using my mom's phone
I have been using the OnePlus 12 for over a month! I can tell you that its a beast. You get in pre applied screen protector, charging brick, case in the box itself. The UI is super clean and smooth as compared to other UIs and even most Google Applications can be uninstalled or disabled. Dont forget 100 Watt Charging, I think its 80Watt in the US. Camera is great actually rivaling Samsung and Apple the only thing its lack is the Video recording which is not that great but yeah for a common user like me who dont record much videos and takes photos more that is okay. The haptics are great. Battery is also long lasting. Display is amazing. Glad I didn't go with S24 Ultra or iPhone 15 Pro Max .
VOOC charger on 230V input make 100W charging and on 120V make 80W charging :)
No video?
Got this for less than 800 CAD ( including TAXES) with student discount and device recycling rewards, I don't think there is a better value for money device than this with the ongoing offers.
Like what device and do is it good thought
Hi my friend , may i ask where did you get it ? Thank you
I wish they made smaller devices with the same specs.
Completely agree. I have an Op12 and in many ways I love it but its an absolute brick, literally huge. Wish it was a normal size and Oneplus started getting in step with almost all the top android manufacturers and start making reasonable sized flagships.
It's a niche product line with vocal supporters but do not translate to profit.
Not enough people buy it to justify it.
@@Baz.007 That's only for phones under 6 inches. All top manufacturers are making flagships phones between 6.1-6.5 inches. Except for oneplus that only make huge 6.7 inch phones for some reason.
@@corsinivideos normal phone back in iPhone 4 days is 3.5" and Samsung Note 2 w/ 5.5" was considered a phablet. So now 6.1" can be considered a "small" phone?
For comparison, iPhone mini 12 has 4.7" inch screen, and sale numbers aren't even close to the Pro or Pro Max lines.
Bottom-line, the loudest do not always translate to accurate overall representation of demand
@@Baz.007He said 'smaller' phones not small phones. Oneplus literally only makes their flagships and upper mid range phones at 6.7 inches. They should be making phones between 6.1-6.5 inches like xiaomi, apple, samsung, google, sony and others do.
Im waiting for a OnePlus 13 and Pixel 9 pro 🙂❤
Next year
@@sunilram3968 this year :)
I'm super happy with my pixel 8 pro! I'm waiting for Pixel 10 pro! Y'all let me know how the pixel 9 is 👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾!
The OnePlus 13 is going to be a BEAST. 6,000 mah battery with 100 watt fast charging brick, snapdragon 8 gen4 processor, 144 HZ refresh rate, & improved cameras for photos & video.😅
@@TaureanSmokehow's Pixel 8pro performing in battery life
I pre-ordered two OnePlus 12's for my husband and myself to replace our beloved OnePlus 11's. After using them since February, these phones are the fastest, smoothest, and best phones we've ever used. Everything just works the way it's supposed to. We've had multiple Google Pixel phones and had issues with most of them.. screen problems, many glitches, even bricking itself after an update! I'll never buy another Pixel.
That super fast charging capability definitely deserves a mention and more attention.. Heavily underrated feature
My husband loves his OnePlus 12 and I have the 12R which I really like too. My screen somehow got a 1 inch scratch on it by day 2. I've no idea how it happened. That, and the poor availability of cases for these phones is my only complaint. Battery on both phones is terrific.
Doesn't the 12R come with a pre-applied screen protector? I know that the 12 definitely does.
@@warrenrebello2729 It does. I have the 12R. I don't think the screen protector is terrible. I think it's pretty good actually. I work outside and my 12R got caught in a machine with bluetooth on, so I didnt notice it right away. It melted my Tudia case and the screen protector was a little wonky, so I replaced with SuitArmor. No issues applying it and I bought another Tudia case. The case situation, I get, but you can buy from China if you want more options. I usually hold onto phones for like a year, year and half, so cases usually withstand that timeframe.
Replace the pre installed screen protector, assuming you didn't rip it off since day 1
On my 1+12, my screen (pre installed protector) got all scratched up after a day at the beach. These tpu plastic screen protector's scratch resistance is minimal, but it's free, so I won't complain.
That's probably the pre installed screen protector.
I got my OP12 for just about $500 USD (after tax!) thanks to a sale, stacked with trade in and student discount. Considering the price you can get it for, nothing can beat this phone in terms of pure value. It's absolutely amazing.
Hey nice vid, i love my OP12. Mind telling what your icon pack is please?
Circle to search is in there in one way , if you pres translate from sidebar you can also search for that thing in your screen
Thanks dude, didn't know you could do that.
Thanks for that info 🤞
I’ve read comments where people are saying that they prefer the OnePlus 12 over 24 Ultra & IPHONE 15 ProMax. When you actually think about how much cheaper they are, it’s really impressive.😅
I'm loving mine. Coming from the 7T, this is amazing.
I still am rocking the 7t😅
Im so using my 100% screen 7 Plus Pro,
Oneplus Open was in my top 3 for mkbhd's camera test, very impressive. I think they need 5g mmwave for NA sales, not a fan of the curved display, and I think they need some solid nice colors (almost bought a pixel 7/8 just for the coral and hazel color).
Standby and idle are great. Having great cellular standby, it just sips. Overall a fantastic all-rounder for my use case and the cameras are fine. Plus the value proposition, really happy with this one.
I'm sooo gonna buy it in January
Had mine since it came. Just keeps getting better and better with updates and it was already so good to start with, an absolute banger of a phone 💪🏼
I sold my S24 ULTRA for the OP12. Best decision this year, its a noticeably better phone and camera.
I love mine. Had it since US launch. Way better than my pixel 7 pro that I did sell
How is cell reception, I don't think it has 5g mmwave?
@@TheElementSwing better than my Pixel. Not sure if it does. It all depends on location. I've had as high as 650mbs. As long as I have 50mbs or higher I'm happy. I really don't see a reason to have over 100mbs on a cell phone.
I had a pixel 7 pro I suffered so much with this phone, the battery is catastrophic and the signal even worse, I traded-in with the OnePlus 12 and man damn the difference is enormous like day and night. The perfect phone is 1+¹²
@@mohayas2103 even my Bluetooth earbuds and speakers sound better on my 1+ compared to both pixels I owned. Those Samsung chips are garbage.
@@Rgf1998some people game so there are plenty of reasons. Many people stream movies and shows as well. Definitely a reason to need more than 50 Mbps.
I have been using Oneplus 12 for the last couple of weeks and I gotta say this is one of the best smartphones out there. I am coming from the iPhone 14 Pro and I was surprised to see the fluidity of the software so much so that it feels ahead of the iPhone. The cameras are also really good and on top of that the battery life won't let you down. Overall it's a great package.
I used Pixels for my last couple of phones (6a and 7a) and a Sammy S9 before that. I moved to an iPhone 14 out of curiosity. I had an iPhone 3G when it was released before everyone hopped on the Apple bandwagon. I was supremely disappointed. Fluidity with a 60 refresh rate, lol, is years behind. I think the 12R is the best option out there unless you truly care about cameras. I would be okay with a 24+, 8pro, or 12 if the right deal came along, but if I was buying a phone right now and no deals, I'd go 12R.
I traded in my 8t and I am very pleased. The camera and battery life is the only reason I made the switch.
My 8t felt plenty fast. Can't wait to see how long this phone will last
Just got the 12. Loving it so far. Just got tired of the bulky and heavy S24 Ultra. I think I'll sell my S24 and maybe my Pixel 8 Pro and stick with this for awhile...
And the oneplus isn't that heavy with the 220g? Can't believe it
I've got one. The official Sandstone case is really nice, grippy. The preapplied screen protector feels fine to me, however it picks up hairs and dust bad. I've got a UV-curing film protector coming that supposedly feels much more glass like after curing so we'll see how that goes.
I'm normally more of a no case/protector kind of guy.... But this phone feels like one I can keep for years. Normally I switch every year (or less). I think I might finally settle down lmao.
Kindly update about your icon pack... looks amazing 👏
What's the icon pack you're using?
It's on your phone already, OnePlus has its own custom icons .
Under icons , use custom and turn on the adapt to wallpaper in the custom tab.
Nad thing is not all apps support this
Adapt to system colours it's actually
11:15 ah yes good old 2020
On my OnePlus 12. Idle time sips 1% per hour.
Not sure what I've done wrong or others have done right to only lose 2% battery overnight.
I'm facing a similar issue, I got the phone on Monday so idk if it's the phone that hasn't fully reached the correct battery calibration or some option that I missed but it feels like it's draining battery a lot even when I'm not using it.
How much is OnePlus 12 in the Philippines?
Have you tried the android 15 beta 3 in pixel. It has next level smoothness. It has absolutely no jitter and lag. They have finally nailed it.
Knowing how bad Google's QC is, results may vary lol yours might be fine, rest might be a stuttery mess
Have been using it, the 16/512GB version, for over 2 months, really like it and enjoy using it on a daily basis. Got it as an upgrade for my older OnePlus 10 Pro 8/256. Cameras are much better, as is battery and the performance overall. Just wish it was little smaller and lighter.
Wow really the same , had a OnePlus 10 pro , the worst phone I ever used, to the OnePlus 12 , the best phone I ever used
@@priyanshusahu425 why do you say it is the worst phone you ever used?
Could you please provide me with a comparison of the haptic feedback of the OnePlus 12 with the Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra, Google Pixel 8 Pro, and Apple iPhone 15 Pro Max? I would greatly appreciate your insights on the differences and similarities between these devices in terms of their haptic capabilities. Thank you for your assistance.
I agree with this review. I keep wanting to change back to my S23 Ultra and Galaxy watch 6 classic but the battery life and super fast charging speeds for the OP 12 and OP watch 2, keeps me with OnePlus.
I was one of those who bought the OnePlus One I really believed in the product, however the phone/ battery only lasted a year then the phone basically became a paperweight I went back to Apple , I tend to keep my phones 3/4 years and so far only iPhone has offered that, I’ve owned apple/ Samsung/ and pixel , plus the invite system was kinda stupid in my opinion
I recently discarded the factory screen protector as well, screen is so much nicer to the touch, I'll trust gorilla glass to protect itself.
I can't believe that my SIM is still in six years old OnePlus 6T 8/128 and I have P40 PRO and A54 along with OP... .
Only two cameras on back but main is 20MP and still good pics, Amoled screen, call recording, face unlock works flawlessly(A54 is sooo bad even with better front cam), screen gestures from bottom (they don't have it on new smartphones), still V gesture for torch works extra...
...only BATTERY shows ages...throo night drops for 10-15% ...it's time for another OnePlus beast!!
Akira?! You chose to show Akiraaaaa???❤❤❤
I owned the 6t, 7T pro and the 8t and tried the 10 pro but returned it. It wasn’t worth it the experience wasn’t great and i believe they peaked with the 7 pro and the cool pop up camera 😮
Definitely best phone you can buy it just does everything to a very high standard unlike other high end phones that all seem to have to many compromises
I absolutely love my OnePlus 12
Happy to say OnePlus has been smashing updates on the International version since I purchased the Emerald ONEPLUS 12 LAST week, first update yeah then 2 more in a few days between. I think for the money it is a Flagship Killer
Nice I'll stick with my Pixel best for updates and much longer term. Like most Chinese phones are slow on updates.
Watching this on #oneplus12 glacier white edition ❤❤
I want to totally use AI on my pixel 6 as seen no need to get the 7 or 8 pixels so now using Gemini what else can I use to get more Ai
AI in the cloud is just a way for corporations to assemble your profile so they can exploit you.
My current device. Phenomenal
Using for more than 3 months. Such a beast. True flagship. All the updates are great and will almost resolve any bugs in the previous version. Amazing cameras. Beast of a performer and godzilla battery life. Oneplus 12 🔥
What is that icon pack?!
It's just the Material You style icons. Touch and hold a blank spot on your home screen. Then, touch "Icons" and then "Custom". Finally, scroll down and toggle on "Adopt system colors". That's how I do it on my OnePlus 8 running Android 13.
You need to set your video's frame rate to at least 30fps to really show how smooth each phone is.
That's something not talked about so much:lack of accessories when choosing 1plus. Not as many choices for cases and screen protectors which most of us use.
Curve screens are also a pain for protectors.
if it had a flat screen (glass) and the camera bump design was drastically improved, it would then be king of the android phones and sell loads more units.
I need a one plus 12 flagship one... I have a 12r and I am waiting for a miracle so that I upgrade from one plus 12r to one plus 12... I didn't know that you can have that flagship of last year and mistakenly I used less better cameras.
Its not worth it. Atleast wait for op 13 or 14
Seems so strange, seems like I am the only one in Europe who got the AI eraser tool in the photo gallery. I just got it from the last update even tho it didn't say anything about it....
Watching on my 3days old op12,❤❤❤❤❤❤
The wallpaper at 1:30 is so beautiful. where can I find it ?
Google kills the battery by constantly sending your location, sites you visit, etc. back to Google all day long. I'm wondering if this one has a limited amount of information sent back to home base?
Considering 1+12, I wish developers would take their software more seriously. Since the latest 610\802\810 firmware has a sufficient number of bugs. Just look at the bug that makes it difficult to switch between running applications. This simply became unbearable on the 810 firmware. There’s also this new scroll that just always flies off somewhere.
What also infuriates me is the interaction of shell animations. As a former owner of Google Pixel, I want to quickly interact with the device, and 1+12 forces me to wait until the animation finishes its action and only then touches become available...
It may be deceiving, but I find the oneplus 12 very clunky. Is that true ? You can't look at the device anywhere here in Germany before you buy it.
The oneplus 12 is definitely an option that is good. Its cheaper too.
Oh and there bringing more than the Samsung S24 Ultra in AI has. Can't argue there, I bought it well knowing it lacks all that then saw the announcement a few days later. Was a leak seeing it on the Colour OS in China. Now this does get problematic its using Chinese Servers so lets see what happens here in Australia. Will they use Overseas Servers or witl there be a BAN_
anyone had screen issues with oneplus12?
For 800 you can get an ultra with trade in or contract with extras. Phone for phone at 800 without discounts it will be missing things the ultra has, but that comes down to the needs and understanding, the best phone isn't a subjective thing until you start adding personal opinion, objectively the ultra smokes this phone simply because it will go places this phone can't in several areas, the charging, the animations, all that sounds nice, but when you have a battery that can get two days with great stability packing in a ton more, when you start to dissect it has to stand down, if your not limited to 8 hundred dollars. If you want the best with exclusive features and tech no other phones have, iphone and Samsung lead the pack, let's be serious, and after that there's a real battle. Is it better than every other phone out there, i don't think so, many are cheaper that offer more. Is it worthy to be a serious option, yes but not for me, i need the best and have to cling to advanced capability and innovation until something changes, its the ultra by a landslide.
OP12 has great trade in deals as well, and more generous than Samsung for sure. Any way you spin it the OP12 is far cheaper, I got mine for less than 600 euros
OnePlus 12 is a great phone, and after each updates its just better and smooth. Love the oxygen os, and performance is just wow, battery is also good, and yeah camera is not pixel level, but be honest I really don't care about phone cameras, so not a deal for me!
No idea why you're mentioning that the camera is not Pixel level when Pixels have NOT been the camera King for many years now.
🤣🤣🤣
The correct comparison would be that cameras are not Vivo level.
Everything is good except for the auto brightness feature
agree. its very dim. i always kept having to increase it everyday
I have no idea how anyone can review the OP12 and not talk about it's best feature, 100w charging!
Service available
I still using OnePlus 7pro 😅 second battery and third screen replacement.. I will not update unless the pop up camera comes back 😂
I also. 3rd battery. Inexpensive to replace. T-Mobile tech support is a bad joke. I cannot move on from a 100℅ screen.
waiting for the 13 with a flat screen, it's a great phone the only complaint I have is the curved screen.
Hopefully they will ditch it next year
Micro curve display Which is gorgeous...
Supposedly the 13 will have a micro curved display as well.
Well you haven't had pixel 9 yet 😉
(Commenting on the battery perspective)
Havent bought a OP phone since the 6t. They simply dont got the sauce anymore
They dropped the ball from 8 to 11. But they're definitely back with the 12. Great phone all around. If they keep this up I'm jumping on the 13 for sure👍
oneplus has terrible customer service... to spend $700 on a phone with no customer service is just foolish. No matter what this guy says.
you should re-test\correct what you said about cod. you need to be playing in 120 fps to notice the 39 degree throttle you mention.
- in mp mode, simply select 'ultra' graphics, then set the fps to '120' below that
- play for 10 mins untill the temp reaches 39 exactly
- youll then notice the drop to a consistent 50-55 fps indefinitly untill you close the app to cool the phone down
i agree with you a drop of 4-5fps is acceptable under load, but this is almost a drop of 70 fps, which is unnacceptable for a gen 3 soc
ColorOS is shit
As well as modern OxygenOS, which is basically ColorOS 💩
💯
"thick, heavy and chunky" is how I like my women
From that review I can understand that you are not using OnePlus 12 even for 1 full day.
My charge so slow, from 30 t0 100 it takes 40 min
Their flag ship killer days are long gone
That's a good thing because they've proven that they deserve to be seen as a flagship-level phone with a flagship-level price.
They are a for-profit company that needs to survive for the sake of competition instead of leaving like LG did.
Consumers need more options. Not less.
OnePlus 12R was like 500 $ wym
@@JamesBond007Nejc I mean their top devices from each series. One Plus 1, 2, 3 and 5 were all flagship killers. After that, they started bumping up the prices.
@@Gary0557 You can make more money that way. But OnePlus is big enough now to be able to release more phones. So you have OP12 as flagship, then you have 12R flagship killer, then you have Nord as cheaper device, Nord CE as even cheaper and lastly Nord CE Lite as lowest end phones.
@@JamesBond007Nejc Yes I get that, but I'm talking specifically about the one Plus branded devices though.

i returned mine. i wanted to like it, but there are alot of cons that you and hardly any other youtuber mentions in case any future buyer reads this.
- its heavy, awkward to hold. my hand would honestly get sore
- the screen in non-hdr is very dim, dimmer than any other phone ive had. the auto brightness is also dim, i had to manually increase it everyday
- the lock screen notifications glitch up alot
- the always on display is so dim that its unreadable during the day
- slo mo videos have no sound (my lg velvet had slo mo sound 4 yrs ago)
- non vooc charging is poor. not even 18w i think
- zero indication if you are using hdr or not
- widget padding was atrocious
- if you clone your old phone, it destroys your battery life going forward
- the thermal throttling is insane. cant play cod for more than 10 mins before it drops the fps more than 50%.
Thanks for the honest information. You have the feeling that everyone is praising the device and it has no negative sides. I also think it's a very big and all thick and heavy device, which I don't think I would do to myself for long.
