My reviews are honest and im not paid a single dollar! I take usually a month to use these phones and gather notes daily and based on the things i gather I compare it to what the manufacturer is claiming! 😊 I also accidentally said the side of the phone is stainless steel but its aluminium dont come at me plz😅
The OnePlus 12 in a nutshell is a STELLAR phone, beautiful screen, stellar battery life, priced competitively and can definitely hang and most of the time surpass the so called flagships..i for one love the curved screen...
One plus 12 is a great phone and i did recommend the phone at the end of the video to viewers! I just dont like when companies throw out numbers that has fine print because a normal consumer will not read and might be disappointed as a reviewer i take a month testing these phones daily and i write down the good and the bad and i understand i have pissed off some one plus fans but i just said my opinion on the phone😊

@gudlutripathy3283 in general its better than s24 ultra for watching content but under direct sunlight s24 ultra is brighter!

I feel you were too harsh on this phone.
I'm a power bank person too and with such great battery life, I don't mind waiting an hour for slow charging. And tbh, you don't even need a power bank because of the insanely fast charging.
And the aqua touch feature works incredibly well while typing. Most phones I've seen either don't respond/respond erratically to touches while wet, or if they do, they definitely cannot type. The OnePlus 12 does. It's unlike anything I've ever seen, very impressive and useful.
Also, it shouldn't be compared to the S24 Ultra and the iPhone 15 Pro Max imo. Those phones are literally double the price of the OP12 in my country. The fact that it competes and even beats those phones in some categories is an insane achievement in itself. If you compare it to phones actually in its price segment like the iQoo 12, Xiaomi 14 etc., it beats them all. (I would've mentioned the Pixel 8 too but I stopped taking Pixel phones seriously when they switched to their own chips from the Snapdragon chips because of the huge performance and battery difference).
The only cons I've noticed so far are that the fingerprint sensor is mediocre (but the great face unlock makes up for it) and the front camera is average (I'm not really a selfie person anyway so it doesn't matter to me).
Other than those two things, in every other category, it's either world class or the very best. And at a non-ridiculous price. 9/10 for me.
I was harsh on things that didn’t work like advertised or was a fine print!
Also about comparing it to the likes of samsung and apple , check out one plus’s social media for example tik tok all they do day and night is making fun of apple and samsung and saying how amazing their product is! They are pushing this product to be a flagship phone so it gets compared to flagship phones.

The OnePlus 12 is offering much more in its price range, I've got an AI update in which I can remove the unwanted objects from the image. I think it's a direct competition to higher price flagships 😂 and the 4500 nits brightness works on some pixels if you have watched the OnePlus 12 event live then only you can understand where actually the 4500 nits brightness works. Its High Brightness Mode(HBM) is 1600 nits. So before calling it a fake advertisement, you need to find out the truth first!

Have u didn't get the update of camera lens switching 💕. If u get that update check that lens switching during the video its so smooth even smoother than s24 ultra
At the time of recording this video i had no update for the camera , i put my overall thoughts using the phone for 1 month into this video. The transition wasn’t my issue tbh idk why people misunderstood me my issue was the jitters and colour changes when switching between lenses.

What else you want at half price? About AI, Oneplus has started giving 'relevant' features and will be adding more in the future. I do admit that fact that Oneplus Camera is not at par with either iPhone or Samsung in Video but in capturing images it is at par if not better. Don't forget they are giving you inbox charger, pre applied screen protector and case. It's a beast giving all relevant features to a normal user at half price, when Apple and Samsung are burning up your pocket with their overpriced Ultra and Pro series. IMHO. Otherwise great review!
One gripe I have with my Oneplus 12 is that the audio quality isn't as clean or as loud as my S21 Ultra and my old LG G7 whether it's connected through bluetooth or the wired adaptor to connect through my headphones or my car. I use Tidal with the highest bit rate they offer with my music listening, and my S21 Ultra sounds rich and full with meaty bass with more detail. I moticed that the detail and bass quality isn't as good on my oneplus no matter how much i play with its sound settings. Would've loved to keep mine but going to have to return it.

Good review …I think the phone should be compared maybe to the galaxy S24 plus and not the top phones of other manufacturers, and it will get more favorable opinion of the phone. Two things you didn’t comment on are the haptic engine, which is really well done on the Oneplus 12 and also the speakers are also really good but I agree with you about the curve screen cool but it definitely makes the phone more fragile.

Perfect analysis...love from lndia...l want the best display for watching multimedia contents. For this lwill wait for the S25ultra or 0P13. S24ultras display suffers from the grainy display issue or mura effect available in the low brightness in dark mode that has not been fixed with the latest software updates even indicating a hardware issue. That's why lm not upgrading to the S24ultra...And 0P has a curved screen...For multimedia contents boxy and flat display is best as one get more space on the screen...Thanks for speaking the truth...

Apple15 series is 480HZ and S24 series is 492HZ …both low for people who suffer headaches or migraines due to PWM dimming…. Best to have DC Dimming in oleds which this phone has

ROG 8 pro for gaming but one plus is overall better

Don't think you can call it a negative that the fast charging is only with their products, since it's one of few brands that actually give you a charging brick and cable in the box.
At the time of recording this video there was no powerbank that would support the oppo/oneplus fast charging but they just recently released a powerbank with the brand sharge that supports upto 45w which is amazing

If you are not on the budget get the normal 12 don't get 12r

I don't mind the curved screen as much as you can't get a decent tempered glass protector to just put on it.....
They usually never stick to the sides or i personally used to like curved screens too
I've had curved screens. The best screen protection to apply are the wet applied ones
@@ritchiebaxter627 most people end up with bubbles.... They turn yellow and shrink eventually have to be replaced.... Covers up your selfie camera as well so that's not as good.... And many people get the glue into their buttons and mic hole, etc. I agree if somebody can do a really good job that's probably the best option.... But plenty of people have trouble with it
Honest review for your video, It seems you need a lot of progress when it comes to your comparison videos, your expression is too much obvious that you didn't want the phone, it's like you are forcing to like it, "it's okay", and please study more the product and observe it.
I personally was really excited about this phone but it didn’t stand up to the hype that i had created for myself and again no hate great phone i was not super impressed.

Maybe its my fault for not taking the plastic screen protector off ! You saw a 5 second clip from a 1 minute video that i recorded and it was more than 3 droplets that you said in your other comment. I also made fun of it that my testing wasn’t the most scientific testing. I did use the phone under the rain and gave it to few other people asking their opinion and they all said the same thing the difference its not that obvious.

For the last five years I have been using 1+ with UV glass so your worries over display are just ignorance
The uv glass for me would start pealing off when the display would heat up

Im not paid a dollar the phone does not achieve 4500 nits at all, at least like i said i did not find the content that would trigger it to get to 4500 samsung and pixel were brighter
