This really helped me a lot thanks, re fitted new turbo this evening. When I sat turbo back on manifold it helped situate it on dpf side easier by tightening up 3x turbo bolts to bring it in a little, just slots in place then. Exhaust clamp is a bit tricky but I spun it around outlet a few turns and it spun off. Great video thank you

What can be the symptoms of a faulty turbo on the Insignia please?
I've had a problem with the EGR valve & hose next to it, both chocked up with black carbon, took hours to clean perfectly.
Re fitted & initially started 1st time, reved fine, but still loads of smoke coming from the exhaust.
Went for a drive & not reving well & hardly any power.
Engine light come on again & computer saying 'turn off, engine overheating'
Tried to start after being left an hour & engine starts but is knocking/rattling badly.
The same symptoms as before I removed/cleaned the EGR valve.
Could my problem be the turbo?
