You guys are great to watch and learn. Your enthusiasm resonates. People forget this is supposed to be fun and and a life learning experience. You got be an artist , chemist and the comedian to make it in this industry. I'm a car detailer in been doing it for 27 years and always wanted to paint cars or objects I dabbled here and there help block on a couple projects and now I'm seriously taking my first car and do a full paint job on it . I watch your videos and more from other people. One thing for sure is when I watch yours I'm laughing and smiling thanks for the great work and most importantly the enthusiasm thank you Paul
Great tutorial guys, I am going to try paining myself and the cleanup process had me worried that I wouldn't get it right. This really explained to me what I need to do.
Fabulous video, guys, and chrystal clear! I'm just about to start out with My First Spray Gun (spraying guitars here in Holland), and my first activity has been following this vid and dismantling and remantling the gun before it even smells lacquer. I'm so glad it was so easy to follow! Thanks heaps!
Thank you so much mate top notch video straight to the point. Thats what i wanted to see 👍🏼
thanks 4 makin vid. nice to see it done, so much better than the crappy no help instruction sheet that came with my gun. straight to the point & well explained as nick stated.
Quick awesome demonstration!! love it! Thanks for sharing!!!
Awesome Mario, I've not used a spray gun in quite some time so this was an awesome refresher crash course :)

I find on my gun, 2 - 2 and half turns of the paint screw, doesnt allow my trigger to go back very far at all..
But obviously, i will test this properly, with paint, tomorrow..

This old video is more detailed than the others that i saw 👍
Thanks guys, really helpful video.
Awesome videos, thanks a lot! :)
Great video! Greetings from Mexico!
I missed the cleaning of pot vent in the lid (5:48) makes a huge difference to paint flow if this is blocked due to the vacuum it creates. Thanks Dave 👍
Thanks boys. Changing my gun cleaning habits
Excellent video, thank u!
This a great video. I just bought a couple mid range HVLP guns and never really new how to properly clean the guns, since I always used the cheap harbor freight guns and didn't care much. One thing I will say. This guy need to get himself some good chemical resistant nitrile gloves like Black Mambas. That thinner just ate those cheap latex gloves up
Thanks so much for this video!
Thank you so much!
he is really professional painter. Good tips, very nice
Great Video, Thanks!!!
Thank you the videos are great
Good, efficient workmanlike description. I got the message clear even with the Aussie accent. Next video, turn the exhaust- fan speed much lower so we can hear better! Thanks!

I was wondering about this as well... noted! Disassemble gun for full proper cleaning!
Yes that is fine. In all our videos we use the same gun for base and clear
awesome video for some reason I was thinking about cleaning a M4/M16 hahah.
Great video 👍👍👍
thanks for the help gun works great now
GREAT JOB
That thing you are cleaning at the two minute mark, I did the same thing with one of those brushed. However I don't remember being that gentle as gentle and now the gun will spray when the trigger is not engaged. I cannot get it to turn off. Any idea what I did wrong and how to fix it?
Thank you
I have a question, please What are the components of the base coating phase thank you very much
Good tips on gun cleaning
I wish my employees would move as fast as this guy! There is no doubt in my mind he accomplishes more in a day than most people do in 5 days! Great video!
They're not lubing their shafts. You need to crack the whip :)
Do you have to disassemble the aircap prior to cleaning? Noticed there's a white plastic ring inside the aircap. Safe to use thinners on all of it?
how often do I need to clean my gun, obviously after paint change, but what if I am using the same paint?
I got my first gun 2 months ago and I use to soak it for like 10 min. Than it started leaking. Now I know why. What gloves can I use were they won't disintegrate?
So what kind of solvent liquid are using to brush clean your spray gun? Thanks
Thanks very helpful video. .
Thank you buddy
Thanx 4 the video
Great info, straight to the point, thank you,
you went a little to fast to where you dropped the paint bucket on your needle `sh-t ,lol
Where did you get that type of squirty bottle and when looking for a sqirty bottle that holds thinners what would I search for?
Great video!
Could you do video about differences between cheap spray guns and good spray guns (like Walcom from this video).
Thanks!
What do you do with all the used thinners? Is it expensive with the amount of thinners you use?
Excellent thanks
Is it possible to spray etch primer through a 1.5mm gun?
Do you settle out the thinner and reuse it?
parabens,otimo video!
thanks much!!
Good job bro
what gun was that he was cleaning? ohh it was a walcom.. have you ever tryed the Slim model? i was thinking about buying it as a starter gun.. i want to get into painting.
Say you spray on a coat of paint, and you have to let the paint dry for 10-15 min. Will the paint in the little wholes of your gun also dry? So would you need to clean it after each coat?
Also, do you need to clean your gun when switching to a different kind of paint? Like primer to base to clear. Obviously the container will need to be cleaned, but for the rest of the gun could you just spray it onto some paper or something to clear out the old paint?
There seems to be obvious answers for some of these, but I just want to make sure.
Thanks, now I understand it...
so what about the thinner.. you just leave it in the gun? wont it effect the paint when you go to use the gun to spray again? or does it dry up and at that point become harmless?
Nice video Where you get the bottle from? That has the cleaner in it
Good video. I had problems with my gun after use, what did I do ? Soaked it in thinners for 24 hours. I now know why my guns fuxked. I'm only a DIY man .
Great video, and an awesome "Tutorial" thanks, this was the best I've watched yet. Great lesson too. How often should we clean our spray guns ?
Joe De Jesus thanks. The gun should be cleaned after every use.
Well then, .....I'm in a bit of trouble. I took a tip from an auto body guy some years back, and he told me to just soak the spray cap in lacquer thinner. Let me get to work on this Binks Model 7 then. Thanks again.
hi, i'm from indonesia and i've seen all your vid and appreciate your work, just want to ask, can i use paint remover instead of thinner, because that liquid more strong then thinner, and i ask this because my sray gun now jamn :(
I wonder what thinner he is using, we use MEK to clean our guns where I work
would you cleaning a brand new gun before first time use, i just bought a devilbus and want to know should i clean it before i spray out of it for the first time
nice! the rinse bottle is water ot mineral oil?
what of fluid in in the bootle? mix of water and thinner or only a thinner?
Don't ever forget to lube your shaft. That's good advice, thank you :)
Excellent vid. Even if it it 10 years old 😮
what spray bottle is that for the thinner?
Thank you, I watched this video AFTER using my first spray gun (Booklet instructions included is in Chinghlise that's english chinese). ...did the 'spray thinners twice' ...now I'm going to check to see if is not ruined. Hope not!
When you say thinners, do you specifically mean paint thinner, lacquer thinner, or can you use both?
thanks!!!!
Wouldn't the grease cause problems when you use the gun next time? Or do you just flush it with thinner or something just before the next use?
I was wondering, what that little blue tank at the bottom of the gun?
excellent
Anyone know where to get one of those thinners bottles? Could do with one !
Why does air come out my gun without pressing the trigger when I connect the airline
