    On a 2014 Toyota Crewmax Limited TRD, will these knuckles, alone, work with Bilstein 6112's, Ekstrom Coachbuilder shims, and SPC UCA's? I have these shocks, shims, and UCA's ready to be installed and now I'm wondering maybe considering adding just the FabTech lift knuckles alone to improve the droop of the upper control arm. I wouldn't need to use the FabTech strut spacers if I did this, right? Or am I overthinking what I can do with what parts I've got? BTW, I've got a diff drop kit, bump stop spacer kit, and Coachbuilder tie rod end steering kit ready to go as well.

    I love this set up, however, I want the 20" Fuel Contra's that also come in -18 offset. But I BARELY want them to stick out of the wheel wells, how do I achieve this? This setup has a 10" wide rim, if I went with 9" wide rim, would that help that some even though the wheel still has a -18 offset?

    With that kit does it naturally push the front and rear tires out to give it that look ? Or were spacers added ?

    • @CustomOffsetsTV
      @CustomOffsetsTV  6 лет назад +1

      Daniel if you watch from 9:27 you'll see Shawn talking about how this lift kit does NOT push the front out at all and that stance is all from the wheels!

  • @TrapHunt
    @TrapHunt 3 года назад

    How well do these kits hold up 10, 12 years down the road? What is a good low maintenance option? I hear a Ready Lift leveling kit is one of the least invasive? Also, what's the price of installation?

    • @CustomOffsetsTV
      @CustomOffsetsTV  3 года назад

      Price will vary all over the board. A leveling kit will be the easiest thing to do as it just lifts the front with a spacer. install will vary shop to shop as well

    How tall is the tundra after the 4'' lift. I ask because I wanted to know if it will fit in a standard 2 car garage? I also measured a stock 2018 tundra 4x4 and it sits at 75.8'' I assume adding 4'' to that number would give it 79.8'' but with tire Height I'm not sure. could you HELP measure one of your 4'' installs and message me back please. thanks

    • @gasolara2002
      @gasolara2002 6 лет назад +1

      The zone will require the same cutting to the lower control arm and the cab mount which every one cuts out because it sticks out so much. The zone should have better hardware but the fabtech is known for the ability to run 35s with minimal triming.

    Since when is 4in a "smaller" lift?
    That and the use of spacers tells me this is for those ridiculous bro-dozer mall crawler guys who never go offroad and care more about achieving a certain look than about things like functionality.
    Ah yes. That intro music confirmed my suspicions. Have fun ruining your truck for the sake of vanity.

    • @CustomOffsetsTV
      @CustomOffsetsTV  2 года назад

      Spacers can be used for a multitude of things, clearance of steering components, specific wheel not clearing a knuckle, to prevent rubbing on the frame rails at full lock etc etc! 4" is not a big lift, but also not small. But when you compare it to some lifts of 12+ inches it is smaller

    • @KurNorock
      @KurNorock 2 года назад

      @@CustomOffsetsTV if you need to make an adjustment for tire clearance you are much better off getting a wheel with the proper backspacing. That way you are putting MUCH less stress on the hubs than you do with spacers.
      For a tundra, 4in is a massive lift and taller than anything anybody serious about offroading would do. Which is again why i said this truck will never go offroad.
      This is for people who care more about "stance" than functionality.
