Thank you robert i scanned a part but it had shadows so when i saved it in ms paint and opened it up in Design Edge it was not that good i was watching this i scanned it to my jasc paint shop pro 9 it came out almost perfect thank you I know its a old version of coreldraw but it still works great Thank you , learing a lot watching these so bill does not have to bug you ...kelly

Michael - if you have height control (basic or advanced) it should follow the plate without issue. If not, you’re correct - it can be a struggle. The main thing is to try to keep cut speeds up close to book settings (assuming a Hypertherm power source) and the cut height as accurate as possible - this will result in less heat being put into the sheet and thereby reduce bowing & warping.

Thanks to everyone for stopping by! Hope everyone that couldn't join in gets something out of it. It's a little slow starting since I was figuring out the whole RUclips live thing but lots of good info covered so stick with it! :-) Hope to do it again sometime soon, probably after the Tulsa OK workshop in December.
Hello! The Design Edge software and license to use it comes with the Plasmacam CNC table. You can also buy just the software license alone. I use also an extra seat license on a laptop for design work.

any tips for the plate bowing? always have to stop and re adjust my torch height so the torch doesnt bulldoze the plate around
