Great you were able to move to a better apartment arrangement. Although the hob/oven has been placed dangerously too near the side wall and radiator without protection at the front, sides and back from the hob/oven heat. Sadly this type of bad interior arrangement is so common in rented homes in UK. You may need to do your research to find out your rights before a fire hazard occurs. Good luck in 2025 in your home.
