Another one that fits the pre and probiotcs well is resistant starches, they act just a bit different from both but are also a great benefit to our health. I often pre cook potatoes or pasta and cool it over night, increasing the amount of resistant starch for our microbiome to munch on.
This is a very valuable information, even though i already knew the importance of plant foods in gut microbiome. One can only imagine what the gut microbiomes are like of people who eat large amounts of meat and other animal products, along with junk, let alone a carnivore diet. All of those people eventually crash and burn, may take months, years, decades even, but eventually their health becomes a wreck, riddled with various diseases and living off medications.
@@TrojansFirst Emphasis on pathogenic, but yes. Gut microbiome on a carnivore diet must be like lighting a whole town on fire, so to speak, it's only ashame those people don't realize it until they end up hospitalized.
Awesome Seminar Kristen!! I've recently started taking Psyllium husk fiber for my GI issue ( Crohns ) has helped immensely with the blood in stool and loose stools. 100% works for me. Will be trying to introduce more veggies in my diet as well. Very informative, thank you.

Got bugs need a new name. Bugs are cool for people not scared or freaked out by them but paired with gut they sound more average than extraordinary 😎✨️
Somebody should’ve ask a question about how much fiber to introduce or have if that person can be pretty gassy cus that’s what I happened to me when I first switched being vegan my metabolism seems to be use to the fiber now cus the way I go about fiber is to pick and chose which meal I want to have my greens instead of every meal with greens , the vegan coaches I’ve seen online say like only add 20-50g of fibre in a day but to me seems a pretty vague answer
I think someone asked that question at the end, I may be wrong though. But, generally when that comes up it seems the response is just to make small incremental systematic increases, like a spoonful a day for a few days and then increase to two spoonful until you get to your servers. As for the amount of fiber if I eat 3 meals I probably get over 60 grams of fiber. I only tend to get gassy when I over eat or snack too much in between or mess up my sleep or eat late. My lifestyle can make it difficult to be disciplined and harmonious with the sun like I would prefer... But, when I'm living right eating is just fuel to do great things and intermittent fasting is second nature.
@@BloodGangBrazy fiber does help actually just don’t listen to every raw carnivore youtuber u see on RUclips they are not scientist and not one single case study out there that supports a raw carnivore diet and don’t give me that human evolution argument or ur anthropology argue ment when our “ancestors diets” consisted of plants meats fats and honey which does not make us carnivore

You should have tried whole food plant-based and if if you were having difficulties get assistance until you acclimate to these healthiest foods. Your transient anecdotal results mean nothing in the grand scheme of things, it's best to acclimate to what is healthiest.
@@VeganLinked and it isn’t anecdotal, I have met a huge amount of vegans and plant based people that have done the same thing I have in the carnivore group. Some of them were vegan and plant based for 10+ years. I know some people that thrive on that way of eating and others that don’t.

Take hydrolozied guar gum 2g or lesser to start then increase to 6g per day it's very good it will be gassy but will adapt one or in a two weeks time
@@lilycarolyn4Christ ive seen people make ice cream recipes out of guar gum

Do you recommend a solufibre supplement?
I don't know why anyone vegan would when they could just eat whole plant foods.
What about people who got different deceases, is all that you mentioned, good for all, such as gerd or diverticulitis?
Hopefully if someone has these issues they will find a physician that practices lifestyle medicine who can help them
Yes good for gerd sibo IBS IBD
Plant based caused a lot worse gut issues for me. I had to go full carnivore just to fix my gut.
