Jill's outfit a little cheap looking, hopefully more attention to detail from feedback from long time fans. So far...this short looks better than the main movies!
What's happening with the Resident evil game you guys were working on you guys haven't said anything about it
Can you give us an update on your Resident evil game that you guys were on
@@m_rizzo I was working with a very limited budget 😕
There is a reason why everyone still trying to replicate the feeling of the og resident evil. It's so special and yet capcom refuse to give us something similar.
Nahh.. Capcom loves Money making films, other than that.. They just love to shit on fans.
RE2 was good. Can't really hate on that one. 3 milked 2 remakes success tho. Can't imagine how cool a traditional game would look though. Remake was 20 years ago.
To me the cheese of resident evil has always been the thing I loved most of it wether it be "you were almost a jill sandwich" or "master of unlocking" or just the entire live action intro. It's just been the thing that has always made it stand out and to put it in perspective I was born in 1999 so I was exposed to it well after it's debut yet I always find myself looking back at the ogs as some of the best games ever made.
@@cptshelly We rented it when I was 7 on ps1. It wasn't the first 3d game we played but when put along side other games it was pretty impressive to have voice acting at all. Don't know, the acid round scene is pretty funny and generic to me but I've always felt the Jill sandwich scene was closer to how we talk at least around WA usa or possibly my ancestors specifically. That scene is smoother on the remake though. The originals are great but remake is a really solid game remaster or not it's very polished. Now we have the ability to pack in so much more detail live I'd love to see what capcom could do now with traditional gameplay.
WTRC was good
This looks way better than the Netflix series we're getting
yeah it is.
Fuck that shit, they're going Disney and Hulu now. Inserting politics and shit into entertainment.
The liquid at the bottom of a trash can looks better than the Netflix series.
That’s also because you’re not paying to watch it.
@@animechic420 You _pay_ for Netflix?
One short trailer was better than any big Hollywood Resident Evil film
Fans that love the source material always do a better job at adaptations when compared to Hollywood garbage.
verdade
Because all Hollywood types see is zombies, and shooting stuff. They don’t understand the atmosphere and feel of the originals.
I’m so glad the og cast is still willing to be a part of this legacy
“Itchy, tasty.”
I love how they wrote in the best diary entry from RE. I’m looking forward to this!
It is better than that crappy welcome to Raccoon City hey yay that's what I said movie
@@bonnierabbit1413 Yeah that movie was terrible.. like holy shit bad. I was looking forward to it and it's such a slap in the face.. to hell with welcome to racoon city..
Completely agree I remember how excited fans were when "raccoon city" was about to come out and thinking to myself "ya know this doesn't look very good". Was so pissed watching that entire movie, they completely botched the casting and plot. I wanted a refund so bad 🎬👎
Now this is the kinda RE movie we want!
it sure is.
Nem para a Amazon pegar isso e postar como série pela mostrar a Netflix e Constantin films como se faz uma adaptação.
This is the Resident evil movie I wanted 20 years ago lol. this is what I thought I was getting
The movie in the way we wanted it to be but never got.
I'm giving them credit for trying with the first 2 movies but they refuse to add more popular characters from the games in the first 2 movies when they were somewhat doing good.
Who knows why the Hollywood so-called elites can't figure this out?
We need the entire movie to be made in this style, this segment is better than all the RE movies we got combined.
If you just want atmosphere, play the game.
You don't have any clue what the story is, or what the pacing of the movie is. Would you really be happy about a 10 minute scene of Chris pushing around crates and raising water so he can use them as a bridge?
@@frankvonfrauner yes, as long as that part was interactive with the audience
It's great to see not just the actor who played Chris, but also the actors who played Barry and Wesker in one room. I'm really excited for this!!!
Yeah, and each are wearing a shirt the same color as their respective S.T.A.R.S. vests. :P How cool is that? :D
Everything we would want from a Resident Evil live-action, looks so faithful to the atmosphere of the series. Looking forward to more!
They were spot on with Jill's look and the atmosphere. This has the potential to become a masterpiece.
I thought Jill looked like a kid here haha
@@araaramitsuko no, she would be a special forces member. I mean she looks like a little kid here. It could be the angle or my imagination.
@@FluffyBunny9002 The real issue also being the source material made no sense. The ages and careers given for the characters were improbable. Granted the creators were partially relying on American expats for feedback.
Also the live action actors were basically anybody who auditioned and spoke English. Which was pretty much the same with the voice acting. Hence why the early dialog was so bad.
You must be joking, this looks like a public access show
@@kd9262 well, it's fan made, so you almost need to use your imagination, but it FEELS more Resident Evil than anything I've seen yet as far as movies and TV shows are concerned.
the fact you got the ORIGINAL actor of Chris Redfield is legendary!
The OG Chris Redfield is back!
Now THIS is a real Resident Evil adaptation! Andrew Saullo, you´re doing an amazing work along with your partners and Charlie looks fantastic! I love the dog and the hunter, now I can´t wait to see this!
Thank you 🙏🏼
This is so awesome! I can’t believe the original actor for Chris came back for it! I can’t wait to see your guys version of The Keeper’s Diary😄
At 1:53, you can also see the actors for Barry and Wesker (still wearing sunglasses, LOL).
@@jpgq5747 I wonder about "Inezh," Jill's original actor. I remember hearing a couple years ago someone supposedly found her but idk what else became of that
@@Chernobog2 At 1:53 - is that Inzeh in the photo on the wall? And yes apparently she was located.
@@Chernobog2 I heard that she was tracked down, but she considers her involvement with the original RE just a unnoteworthy event from her past when she was young and has no interest in being involved in any sort of RE stuff. Apparently, she'd prefer to just be left alone.
Don't know if this is true though.
@@SRC267 Nahh.. That's Jennifer Aniston lol
The original Chris Redfield actor playing a zombie....wow we've really come full circle 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾
I can’t believe the original Chris Redfield Actor is playing The Keeper! How cool is that?! I’m definitely watching this. 👏🏼
I'd rather see him play an older version of Chris, but hey, him as The Keeper has potential as well. :)
Thank you very much guys. See Charlie, Eric and Greg again is a dream came true for any fan of the original Biohazard. Love you for this!
I hope both "the keepers" teams of you get enough attention of e.g. netflix and you can tell them how a real resident evil movie has to be, keep up the good work.
Haha brutal but so true
@@percy1629 :D not just brutal but to build up tension, and maybe add a little bit of this 90s cringe like in the game and the "newest" movie
@@bricktimelapsebuilds I meant what you said was brutal but the 90s, b-movie vibe is what I'm hoping for also. The film didn't capture enough of that for me. Casting and writing was another problem.
We'll see about Netflix series but it looks more of the same action heavy schlock.
Thankfully we have amazing projects like this one
The community has spoken. We have been fooled by Hollywood’s version of Resident Evil. They will never listen to the true fans. Let’s make this happen and show them how a Resident Evil film should be.
f. Netflix, i didnt even watch the series not even out of curiosity
This is amazing. And seeing the original actor back who played Chris is just icing on the cake. Looking forward to it.
This is all I've ever wanted from an RE movie
This looks very interesting - especially being linked to the original Resident Evil intro cutscene (which I still think was the best live action version of Resident Evil).
Finally an accurate adaptation after so many failed adaptation It finally took fans to invest enough money to make promising RE film for fans really looking forward how this will play out nice work JJ.
Thank you 🙏🏼
Charlie Kraslavsky!! This old wolf is not forgotten 😁
Love the revised Jill costume. I made similar decisions when I designed her costume for a fan film as well. I think making it more grounded helps sell the horror times better.
Why is it every single fan creation is 100x better than everything we’ve seen from Hollywood? Awesome job!
I love that you are not in competition with each other but are spreading information about each other’s projects. The RE fan community is great.
it looks so much better than the netflix teasers of the new series.
This was really well edited well done. The fans are the only ones trying to be faithful to the games.
This looks utterly phenomenal! I can't wait to see this when it airs 😆 Keep up the amazing work guys!!
I hope it goes viral, it looks absolutely faithful to the lore and the cinematography is precisely the standard for what a live action Resident Evil should follow.
Not overly edited or heavily saturated, just a spooky ambiance with multiple perspectives, what was so hard about that?
What was "so hard about that" is that knowing what kind of ambiance and camera angles to use would require playing the Resident Evil games, and we all know big studios don't have the time for such icky things as that.
But seriously, I'm digging not just the atmosphere, but little touches that one could have forgiven the team for omitting, like the typewriter and the Sword Key.
@UCZGIGyQ-AZ-2qQHKjk67L7A So sad, but so true. Hopefully Capcom is a more forgiving IP owner than others, so that fan projects like this can safely reach people who want them. Considering the mainstream stuff and the fan stuff are aimed at different people, I assume there will be no loss of audience for either production, but IP law is tricky and merciless.
On a side-note, I actually like the very first Anderson RE as its own thing even though it doesn't do well as an adaptation, even with its intent to be a sort-of prequel to the first game.
Chris: “No, don’t go!” 😂
I would spend my money on this masterpiece than on that "Welcome to Raccon City"
This looks EPIC!!!
Now this is how you make a faithful film adaption.
I love this. Plus the trailer itself is very well made. Great job!
Man the director and I share the same idea. That's awesome. However, if I was able to direct a live adaptation of Resident Evil then scene would open like this.
The scene opens with a shot of the keeper writing in his diary while scratching. The camera slowly pans over to his arm revealing a bite mark. As this is happening we hear the sound of zombies trying to bust into the room. Knowing that the keeper is going to die soon he continues to write but, he struggles to write due to the amount of scratching. As the sound of the zombies trying break in get louder the keeper's scratching begins to intensify. He scratches and scratches and scratches until he soon realizes that he has already ripped the flesh off his skin. Eventually his vision changes. As his vision becomes distorted he starts to hyperventilate and sweat while his heart beats rapidly. As he continues to do this his breathing eventually comes to an abrupt stop as well as his heart. He dies with his eyes opened. The camera zooms in on his diary as the music intensifies and the camera fades to black eventually revealing the tile for the movie.
Love this kinda stuff is still being done. Keep the original horror alive!!
Shoooot this is exactly what we want as RE cinematic 😍🤟
This just keeps getting me hyped more and more.
Theatrical Chicken is doing this?? Yes!!! I remember their Biohazard fan film that never got seen sadly
We just shot a few scenes and never intended to do a whole film. Without support, it just would be too expensive unfortunately.
When an independent film trailer gets more praise (Well deserved) than a Netflix supposedly “faithful” adaptation.
The vfx make up looks great on all these projects , hope all goes great for all the filmmakers crews
When this story looks better than all the live action movies put together
Cannot fucking wait
when fans with limited budget make a faithful adaptation for fans that official movie productions cannot
This already feels more faithful and atmospheric than all of "Welcome to Raccoon City."
The fact Chris's OG actor is in it is just amazing.
He sure is.
I thought he was killed?
@@SamuelBlack84 that was Paul Haddad the voice actor for Leon S Kennedy from the original Resident Evil 2 and the other guy that played the voice of Chris Redfield from Resident Evil 1 he died the voice actors and the actors are two different people
Okay not gonna lie.... First few seconds gave me chills
Same here
me to if only RE move like this one if only ....
My heart is officially melted 🫠
Man, the original sounds kept, the wallpaper on the corridor Jill is walking through. Fuck! Perfection!!
Holy shit! You guys rock, thank you for pushing to get this made.
Omg I love where this is going, can't wait to see the final product. Loving the cinematography so much!! Also I'm super excited with, "The Keeper". How long are we going to wait!! 🥺❤️
Key word: FAITHFUL 👍🏻
So they actually got the original actor for Chris Redfield from the first games live action cutscenes in on this project!??
Dude, I am so HYPED for this!!!!
My boy the keeper. The star of the game. Been waiting like 30 freaking years for this.
You and me both!
Man from the trailer it looks great
Been waiting forever for this can't wait to see the finished product.
I'd watch that over the Netflix any day!
How I've been missing this! Thanks! :)
This was awesome. So hyped !
This looks great. The music, the tone, the lighting. Never been more confident in a project.
That is awesome! I can’t wait to see the finished product.
This trailer is way better than anything Resident Evil live action in the last 20 years
This is phenomenal. Camera work looks great and Shawn is directing again. I'm still upset we never seen the full vision for arkley or "Dave" these are the shows I would support from the franchise. Why any big company doesn't see the financial gain in this direction I will never understand. With that being said I will share this when it comes out with everyone in hopes that it goes viral and picks up traction. Great job yall.
This looks way better then the Netflix series!
yo i agree 100% 👍
Now this is a resident evil whoever made this did a great job
Thanks 😎
You have my support. Amazing work guys!
Oh my!!!! I just can’t wait for this. This should be an interesting take on the back story of “keeper”. Actually excited for both renditions of this story.
Looks better than every RE live action movie combined
facts 👍
Yep.
We need this.
Side Note: Why has there never been an "Itchy Tasty" DLC?!?!
All these legends in 1 room awesome!
This looks epic. Can’t wait to see more!
It’s too bad that James Wan didn’t produce, direct & write the Resident Evil reboot like he said he was going too back in 2018/19…but backed out of the project when he realised Sony wouldn’t let him have full creative control.
His budget was apparently going to be bigger then the reboot we got.
He was going to use the mansion from 1999’s The Haunting.
Was obviously gonna be set in the year 1998 (like the first & second game was).
He was going back to the old 90’s zombie look (Wan absolutely loved the look of the 1990 version of Night of the Living Dead zombies).
He was going to hire Joseph Bishara to compose the score (Bishara himself said he’s a fan of the older games).
And it was supposed to be bit over a 2hr film according to certain sources.
….yeah, it’s a damn shame!
what a shame that big time movie budgets can't even make a film of a video game but unknowns can do it as we thought it would be.
Awesome to see this. I just wish it was shot on film instead of digital. It looks way too “clean”. “Dave” nailed the gritty dark dirty look perfectly. Can’t wait to watch this!
I did not have the same resources available to me as that production did 😕
@@andrewsaullo awesome to see regardless and still looks great!! So grateful to see fans doing what the big movie studios won’t 🥲very excited for this to release
@@SanguineYoru Thank you :D
I remember reading that diary. The story itself terrified me when I was a kid
This is iconic. I remember reading the diary late at night as I made it to that room and it will never be any more spooky then that feeling i had as I stood in that room...the ambiance..the music..the setting.
This has my attention..for now.
You guys have my support. Honestly this looks way better than any RE content in years!
Okay, really excited by this. I love that you got some of the original actors for RE1 for it too!!
Jill!!! Chris!! Oh my God, best duo in RE! Looking forward to this masterpiece!!!!
damn! trailer gave me goosebumps!! I remember how disturbed I was as a 13y/o playing the original Resi and stumbling upon this diary entry! And that's sp dang cool that the original Chris Redfield is playing the role of The Keeper.... Heh, pretty sure he never thought some 25 years later that he'd be playing a role in a Resident Evil project again
I'm looking so much forward to this!! 🤩🤩
This is the first time Ive been excited for a resident evil film in a very long time!
This looks amazing, way better than any other adaptation
You guys even hired a Doberman Pincher for the role of the zombie dog. Great job!
omg when does air i love the creepy dairy and they making a movie camp cant wait to see it
You people should lead all Resident Evil live action and CGI movies from now on - this is what fans deserve
Awesome work guys, keep going this excelent work!
I'm actually excited for this & I've NEVER been excited for an RE movie!
I'm so stoked for this
wow this looks amazing! and thats crazy the original Chris Redfield, this is just gold!
This is literally everything I’ve wanted from a Resident Evil movie or show. While it hurts my heart that it’s not official I’m thankful for the amazing super fans that make these amazing short films . I can’t wait to see this when it comes out!
Its always so remarkable when fans can fill in the gap so many studios have failed to fill. You have my support sir!!!
That was soo good!!! I wanna be involved in that movie 🎥 😩
I always asked myself why Andys and your path hasn't crossed yet. I'm happy to see that our german RE fanscene finally get some attention.
Now this i can get behind :D sick of all the crappy RE live adaptations, Arklay was better than all live action films put together and then some. I have high hopes for this :) thanks ROE
Guys with a low indie budget making something absolutely faithful and true to Resident Evil. Imagine what they could do with a full higher level production budget. This teaser alone is already better than the movies
The Original Chris Redfield holy crap that's awesome.
Holly shit this is lit 🔥, it can’t get any better than this !!
Wow! Respect for this! This is amazing work, and with the original Chris!!! This needs to be picked up by Netflix on how to do RE properly
I actually thought about writing a short story about the keeper before. I can only imagine what he went through before he turned.
Stranger! Stranger! Now that's a proper Resident Evil Adaptation!
Yooooo this is legit….can’t wait!!!
