Starfield already looked great but on this oled it looks absolutely breathtaking.
It is, I’ve still got the tv and use it for gaming and work its quality! No complaints
I have a desktop computer with the RTX 3070 but soon upgrading to the RTX 3090 so the 42" LG C3 OLED is perfect @ 144Hz but if i had an Xbox or PlayStation the Sony OLED would be the way to go.
lg is best for gaming & has game optimiser great hdr brightness but think sony has edge in picture & upscale technology
May have to invest in a Sony for my next TV then!

You have never used a PlayStation, go and buy on today with Spider-Man 2, enjoy. Don’t get me wrong Xbox series X is an awesome machine which I have as well, but when you turn the ps5 on it feels next-gen, I really couldn’t recommend it enough.
Awesome content by the way. I have the LG CX 55” at the moment and looking to upgrade soon.
To be fair that’s all I’m hearing, that PS5 is far superior. Im really going to have to invest in one and see what’s it’s like on this screen 😳. Thanks for the feedback too.

Hi mate, thanks for the review, I have a Xbox series x and want a c3 but I’ve heard a lot of people having problems with the c3 using the Xbox series x, it’s a display issue where it goes into low resolution when using the Xbox series x, have you had any problems with the c3 when using the Xbox series x? Thanks
Alright mate, personally no, that hasn’t been a problem for me when I’m gaming. It would be pretty frustrating if it did! Excellent screen for next gen consoles and game optimiser settings really bring out how good the c3 actually is. So would still recommend.
All I would say is if you plan on using it as a work / productivity monitor the auto dim feature can be pretty annoying. All it takes is for you to be on the same screen for a few minutes, you can be typing, it doesn’t even need to be idle with nothing happening and it dims. It takes for me to flick between programmes to “wake it up”.
Went on a bit there about something you didn’t even ask about. 😂. But to answer your question. No, I don’t have that problem 👍🏻

Why does game optimizer on say Standard?
Do you find the Game Optimizer mode makes games look dim and colors flat compared to the other modes?
Absolutely, don’t get me wrong it’s a top TV but it definitely needs custom settings to get it right for games. The game optimiser ironically is handy, but for me not ‘optimal’.

Hard to say really. I would just have a mess around until it suits. It depends on the room, the light, size of tv and generally your preference for ‘what looks good’. Good luck!

Good question 👌🏻, In my case, I only adjusted the tv settings, not the Xbox settings 👍🏻.
In theory the TV should be good enough to ‘optimize’ the settings based on what’s on screen, Gaming, movies etc which it does, but their idea of ‘optimized’ settings might not be to everyone’s taste so just take a bit of messing around to get it right for you 👍🏻.

Yea defo PlayStation. I’ve got the 48” lg oled version and playing uncharted and thief’s end on the oled is almost magical, and Spider-Man is pretty sweet and can’t forget the last of us they all look top tier on the oleds 👌

The people talking about a PS5 are just fanboys. No way spider man 2 runs at 120fps. Try halo infinite and you will get 120.

I have both and play both a lot Xbox displays better resolution from my experience but ps5 exclusives make me play it way more
