As a cyclist, I can't fathom how she couldn't have seen the drone. If you're not paying any more attention to your path than that, you don't need to be on a bike. Absolutely brilliant video, btw. WHAT is up with having to BIND your drone to get the DJI Refresh plan AND you have to do it within 48 hours of activation. That’s some BS with DJI. If I bought the plan when I purchased it online then I should HAVE it! WHY do I have to “bind” it and within 48 hours of activation. And why don’t they explain that upon purchase????? Just merely curious. I’m pretty sure it was weeks after I activated before I knew about binding it but it said it took. 🤷🏾♂️

I was one of the idiots who had used a mini 2 for awhile and thinking I can test out my new mini 4 pro without reading the instruction. My first flght using the follow me function I crashed my brand new drone. I did not purchase the care package from DJI but they agreed to give me one time courtesy free repair. I am so grateful to find this outstanding tuitorial video. As soon as I started watching, I immediately realized my mistake. The obstacle avoidance feature is off when you set it on sport mode... and that is the reason for my drone to crash into a electrical cable. Thank you so much for the effort of putting together this useful video. I will be watching it a few more times before flying my new drone again.

Amazing video, it was really helpful especially since I just want to buy my first drone to see if it'll be something that I'll enjoy. The thing that always bothered me with the previous mini models is that they didn't have omnidirectional objects avoidance.

I want to insure to watch your tutorial and read the docs first. After your video, it has all I need to get started and more. Thank you so very much. I’ve had the 4 a few days now. I had 1200 flights on a 2 so it was time to upgrade. Few things I’ve noticed- tons more features that will take practice and adjusting. The 4 is not as fun to fly. I’m sure this will change with practice but the 4 doesn’t seem to fly as good. Kind of choppy and wobbly. It doesn’t show in video but the 4 seems less stable looking at it from the ground. The 4 is a drone built around a camera and the 2 was more like a drone with a camera on it. I’m sure I’ll get used to it and maybe I can make it fly better with some adjustments. Also, the drone gets hot fast. I am using a Bissell air filter ( like a little drum with clean air being blown out the top). It will work perfect to keep heat under control while transferring pics. It’s definitely way quieter. One other thing I have to work on is making the map smoother. It lags. It looks choppy and that bugs me. These are just a few things I noticed after a day or two. I will say one more thing if you made it this far in my ramble. The 2 is a way better first drone. I’d be lost if the 4 was my first drone. The 2 is clearly less capable but it forces you to focus more on flying. There isn’t so many camera options which become a distraction. Oh, one other thing… is pricing. For a beginner a 2 is cheap especially a recon. When it comes to pricing if you are upgrading to the 4, there are a couple decent financing options for people who don’t have $1200 laying around. QVC has like 4 pay plan ( no mp4 yet though). Also, I seen I think it’s called Flexshopper? They will finance a drone from Best Buy and I don’t think you need great credit. I considered it because I think it has a 90 day payoff kind of thing.

I'll be using this drone to not only get some awesome views, but to also help hunt down any potential cows that's lost in the corn field we got, i ended up losing a calve (baby cow) to coyotes thanks to it getting lost in the corn. Using the drone would definitely help with seeing where it's at and how to try to get the calve back to the farm without losing it completely

Totally agree, Don't use the heavy prop guard. Just use a thick rubber band.
