The problem dear Dan is that people try to make it more complex than necessary to justify their work. Is not because is needed is because is a kind of mis-concept. All the time I say to my customers that transparency and go straight to the point will save time, money and also save frustrations on negotiation.

I like how the camera moves in when Dan stresses a point. The editor's doing a great job there!

omg this is such a mind-blowing video. the real message from you is to sell to someone who's eager to make changes, not someone who wants stability! Dan, how do you usually find the right people to talk to, from a company you know nothing about? How do you research the company and find out who's the "true decision maker"?

Thanks Dan! Pls make more videos about B2B and the different needs they may have compared to a consumer in a B2C context. That point about the Mid level management needing something to look good infront of their leaders was very eye-opening.

Great video. Yes B2B you must know who makes the decision. There are many gatekeepers that want to control you....

There IS a difference: B2C, when you call on them, they're not WORKING and earning money when you're calling. B2B IS working and earning money when you call on them. Therefore, B2B, you need a short 10-minute or less PREVIEW of the work you do to elicit interest and THEN you can go into further detail because you will have sold your expertise and validity of your product or service. B2C, you can go right into a discovery session (an hour or so) to determine if you and your solutions are a fit.

Your video seems to just talk about sales with fixed pricing. Can you give advice to someone who's in car sales? Thats a tough sale avenue because people are always used to shopping around and I'm having difficulties using some of your techniques because car prices do vary.

I'd be curious to learn more about using terms of agreement instead of a proposal. If anyone has experience with this in selling b to b with contract say in the three to $500,000 range id love to learn more.
