Love that you're showing people it doesn't take tons of money to have a project car!
It is inspiring for sure and looks like it's not TOO involved with the right tools. Makes me want to get a project car and learn car stuff. I barely know how to do basic things but mostly since I have no where to work on one and not a fan of working in the cold. Kinda been toying with buying rural property actually so could definitely build a nice shop there. No room on my current property.
@@redsquirrelftw I say definitely get a project. They're nice because you can practice and learn on them and don't have to worry about your daily being down if something goes wrong. Also you learn that everything is fixable with the right tools, it just might cost you lol
But it does if you want to it to last. Just an actual good turbo cost more then twice the whole kit. Then every exhaust related thing and a bunch more. Lastly a custom tune that will cost a shit tone of you want it to drive good. As in more than just a peak power Dyno pull to show of on Instagram.
@@alexstromberg7696 yeah you definitely want quality parts but you can still get good deals on things and if you meet the right people get the hook up on tuning and fab work. Just like anything else is about networking as well and using skills.
@@alexstromberg7696 a tune is not that expensive, curently a tune for the RPM motorsport (has the fastest civic in europe 8 sec 1/4mile) only cots 250€ and its not pull limited you stay on the dyno and test it on the streets and he only finishes the tune when you think the car feels gr8
gingium: builds a metal welding table, still welds on a wooden table
Hey, John was using the table!
@@_Gingium_ btw its good to weld exhaust to table
@@_Gingium_ you did not have a welding suite? :)
i was about to say that
Welding suite huh? Sound swank.
Now fix rusts spots please
don't let it rust away
That is Johns job lol
@@_Gingium_ who is john

@@Drdbol100 ohhh OK thanks dude 👍
Dude mount your bench vise
NO! Not until the truck is running. I promised myself 😂
But ur making things harder on urself lol
@@_Gingium_ Why lmfao just mount it, no reason not to
Mount it ON the truck. lol.

Mad respect at the end. Love seeing passion in anyone. Great to see a Civic too. Thumbs up, as always
Brent of PFI Speed. Message him if you get stuck when tuning.
He probably can tune it without it being on dyno, just knowing these engines and ebay kits too much.
There is 2 good tuner around them. Mikey from mspec or RCAUTOWORKS
@@AK47xSNIPES Everyone always say PFI because they see them on RUclips as if everyone else didn't know already and don't realize that Brent isn't the only tuner in this world. 😂
Such a sick intro! Mucho swag editing.
1:53 if the weld sounds tttthhhthtthhtiiithhh and almost sounds like it's dying out its because it is probably staving on wire (that's just how I remember if I need more or less wire) try turning up the wire a touch. Or if big sparks are rolling off try point the gun into the direction you want to go. You want to hear a nice even steady cccckkkkhhhh! Like at 2:13 👌
I wouldn’t mind to see John on the channel agian. Loved the video keep up the great work
I want them to collab more too
Very proud of you young guys. American. Plain and simple. So good to see. Great looking car too fellas. Keep doing good in life like this. Inspires me even now when I'm old. God bless sir.
I think music is too loud, I have to turn the volume up when you speak and down for the cinematic parts
+++++
one day this benchh vise will be mounted. one day, but not today!
thank you to you, Gingium, for providing some inspiration. i just spoke to a local dealership about a 1991 MX5 ...i may be revisiting a lot of your Miata videos again very soon
For once there are no comments hating on honda, this is why I like gingium's channel, there is no toxicity at all.
I rewatch your videos all the time, i live in michigan but you seriously are such an inspiration for me. Youve made me learn alot man. Hope to meet you one day.
Its sooooo nice a quiet turbo civic, much better than those loud annoying ones! Great video!
John reminds me of Napoleon Dynamite 😂
Mohammed Abbas omg so accurate 😂
2 very smart guys making a transformation, bad azz
Better fix that rust sooner then later.. very few clean egs around
Good job...its nice to share when you have a tools that other need to finish a project
Good Guy!
Fabricatium from Gingium uses a saw to trimium. Burnium the table with a weldium. Character building! Happy Honda and turbo flutters. Great collaboration guys and best wishes with the ECU. Peace out!
I have always wanted a civic hatch of this year--- to have a turbo manual one would be even more sick, nice car guys.
Considering you have the facilities a lot of people don’t,it would be cool to see you do more quick projects like this, even as an open door/DM operation.it would be cool to see you working with people who want to do this stuff but need a knowledgeable hand to get it done.awesome work
I agree! It was super fun
wholesome ending. big thumbs up. that john is a cool dude
Maybe get(or make) a skid plate to keep things for hitting the oil pan or tubing. Again, great video as always!
great job guys.! one of the better eBay turbo build vids out there. Youngstatic the goat at eBay turbo builds but from the box you guys did a great great job.
Get a stage 3 clutch + Flywheel
And tune it for 400HP

Honda made some really great cars in the 90s. They just don't make them like this anymore. All about new tech and fancy accessories instead of the actual driving experience now :(
Car had souls before, new cars have no soul sad things:(
dude you're EVERYWHERE
@@kristiankorsvik2488 I hear ya
@@215nerf lol what's up dude
Do u need a project or something dude?
That is the perfect daily. Sick stuff
one thing you are forgetting is that the closer the turbo is to the engine. the hotter the oil and air is going to the turbo witch makes the turbo more affective
Reminds me of the first time we put a turbo on the tacoma aka turbo taco, careful dont crack the cement
this is so professional it makes the engine bay in my juke look unprofessional 😂😂😂😂😂
This is in my opinion the best chassis Honda produce during the 90's..ain't nothing like them , use to own a 93 coupe..once I get enough money to own 2 cars I'll search for a clean rolling 🐚, currently working on my EK to make the best out of my summer here in Canada 🥶 Keep the content coming💣
I've got a 92 coupe as a project. I'll be gathering parts for a B swap soon. Fun cars
80s back in style 🙌🏽
I see a Warsteiner at 03:31, Looks like you're drinking my local beer 👍🏼
Also nice video, keep up the good work!
Thanks for addressing the comments
Like the led turn signals you should do the red and white rears
U are my favourite youtuber!!! I love watching ur videos!!! Keep uploading great content and u will be known worldwide in no time!!!
Crazy that thing will probably be the fastest thing you've ever worked on and probably a 1/4 the price of any build you have
I don't think the oil drain for the turbo is too low. The oil pressure going to the oil-inlet side of the turbo can easily push the oil through the turbo and then to the oil pan.
This title makes it seem like you bought a 600$ turbo Civic.
that is a little true if you have not seen the other vids
@@kristiankorsvik2488 I have.
I have an ek coupe and I’m doing this in a few months
Hows the coupe doing?
Im pretty sure you and Evan Shanks bought the same ebay kit lmao
Bro just casually chucked a screamer pipe on a civic 😂😂
I would run the oil drain above the boost pipe. If that pipe ever decides to pop off, it will take out the oil line too
the exhaust is the size of the wastegate dump NICE
Can't wait for those huge chunky tyres on the Rally Miata and for the Drift Truck to be finished. Also, have you got a name for the Drift truck already?
Drifttruckium
damn that was cool, wish that the drift truck will be cooler
Next step,dirt nasty low 😂
Paint the intercooler black to match the piping !
If you're gonna keep using the civic logo for you're thumbnails atleast use the 92-95 civic logo (Cursive one) you're using the 01-05 logo...
I wish I could like it twice for that awesome Napoleon Dynamite get up.
I’ve actually seen some people run manifolds on Honda’s with a larger turbo and they have to clearance the block with a grinder at least you didn’t have to do that haha
All bow down to Hondium.
Not long till the truck is done ❤
the way you guys use power tools makes me think you're going to be making a video soon about how you cut off your fingers.
Just let the turbo flyy deam!
I love your videos, gives me and others inspiration to go out and work on their cars
Divine media influences hell yeah dude. The song is Feelings by Harukasuka
Clean ass civic love it nice set up
I never thought I would see Napoleon Dynamite smile or drive a boosted EG.
Wow finally using a vise, I mean it's not bolted down but still
if it was open downpipe you would hear that snail spoolin a lot better
Awesome vid!! Also yall need to get a filter on that turbo!!!!
Some day you should get a civic
When I heard the music i knew shit just got serious. lol
When I can fix a car and have it up In a matter of days and shit in my own garage that’s when I know that I have achieved the master mechanic status. GINGIM THE MASTER TEACH ME DA WAR😂😂😂😂
Practise the tig welding! Nice video too!
Hi gingium Im a big Honda fan and my uncle is a Honda certified mechanic, he always tells me to build a b18 turbo setup so he tell me that u need to rebuild the b18 head and the camshafts, the cam gears. If u want to do it the right way, then go on Facebook because people sell b18 rebuilt heads and if u are lucky to find a rebuilt head with the springs and valves already put in the head then u should buy it, sometimes there people that sells them for at least $400 - $600 just for the head so if I were u read this I would be on Facebook market or eBay or Craigslist right now so u should look into it. If want to do it the wrong way then u have to have the car on low boost cuz the engine is gonna blow the pistons out the block or bent the piston rods or the block will put a hole on side, or the back.. so I will do it the right way. But anyways have a great day.
Hope you guys got a air filter on that turbo because I didn't see one
Realy nice divine style cool shoots :D
When did McLovin get a civic
Can someone please send him some bolts for that table vise. But your videos are awesome keep it up!
Awesome content loved the video
Quick and fun Civic hbs make great dailys, but Ging I think they're waaaay too practical for you, bud. You might actually be able to go shopping in one -- can't have that!
That kove speaker product placement tho 😅
dude if you like it, you should open a shop to do this type of content/side chanell maybe ?
Honda aka "lego cars". You should definitely buy a few to have around to tinker with. Parts are readily available, cheap and aftermarket options are almost endless. Dont get me wrong i love the miata stuff and i know there are tons of honda channels out there but like you have said your self it would be good for extra content. And mad things can be done on extreme budgets.
Did you change the muffeler bearings?
Oil level in the turbo drain tube will only be at the oil level in the pan.
I assume gingium that you are clipping your wire every time.you welded the pipe right. Otherwise you get some nasty porosity
Your friend looks like Steven hawking
Heard that using ebay turbo kits on a daily driver isnt a good idea bc itll fuck up sooner or later
Gingium wants to be a Boosted Boi...Caleb it’s 2019....all turbo Civics have their downpipe pointing out the hood.
Nah, hood dumps are lame
Gingium Tell John to get with Brent from PFI. He’s super chill and will get it running in no time.
More John!
Keep up the nice Videos, greetings from germany! :)

OOF OFF

Harukasuka's music is just so fucking good
You know you're basic, when, you shout "let's go!" when you're excited! xD
fuck you
Downpipe gonna crack
Why can't your projects work out so quickly ? 😂
Gingium: turns in to haggard garage
I think you guys should keep on making videos together, maybe let him move into the shop and do this thing full time.
Its always nice to have a friend nearby not to get lonely.
I have a b block no head and d head I'm wondering if the d head would mate to it,...I like the idea of less moving parts,....for turbo,...
Ricer noises! :)
