Right stuff gasket maker is the best stuff on the planet, never leaks, and can be put right back in service in a hour. Also, push lock hose is awesome to work with. It will work for anything up to 300psi. Coolant, oil, fuel, air, e85, anything.... Great informative content, nice work.
If you cut the lower portion of the crash bar where you mounted the intercooler, you can make more room to tuck the intercooler up higher so it doesn’t sit so low. It will also allow you to put the bumper with minor modifications and keep the front webbing for the incognito look.
Nice video, definitely helpful. I work on big trucks and equipment but love big hp cars so I’ve been building a 97 coupe I’ve got 2 JDM high compression B20B’s one stock and one fully built and one B16A2 head. But the pieces on the intercooler typically in fabrication terms is referred to as a tab from the guys I’ve known
Nice vid, dig the don't be afraid to modify for aftermarket vibe. Lots of people start the reassembly hit a misfit and freak out, lol. Appreciate the opinion on which style/ model of oil supply fitment to go with. Great job, keep it up. See ya on th enext vid.
In Death Valley California Yuma Arizona Phoenix Arizona AC in a car is it a must I wish I didn't live in Phoenix so I didn't need to have AC. Cars made in the 80s and early 90s that are in Phoenix most have ac that works still. lol. Good thing they make AC and power steering friendly turbo kits for the Integra
SP Tuning I have been searching for all the AC lines/ Dryer/ and condenser to add to my H22 EG for quite a while. Maybe we could PM about these parts? DC A/C stuff should work on eg i hope.
Pre 2000s Hondas are very difficult to find in yards near me in Kentucky. So it would be amazing if you could sell me these parts if they are still laying around.
Why are all these eBay kits external waste gate? Wouldn’t it be easier to mount and simpler with a internal wastegate kit? And do you think these eBay kits are to big. Usually spool up later.
you put the inside nut for the return on backwards that crush washer isnt going to crush evenly. if you look one side is curved and one side is flat. flat side for crush side.
Nice work but with oil priming u want to crank until the oil light turns off before actually starting it that wasn't enough cranks honestly but if it works it works lol
I’m swapping engine/tranny to a JDM type R b18c and go auto works turbo kit. Is it easiest to install the turbo kit or some of it on the engine before I drop it in or does it matter? Thanks
So, let me ask you a question, when you first started modifying your Integra and decided to go turbo, how did you start? Meaning, how did you first get into turbocharging your Honda? I bought a 97 EJ8 Civic coupe for $1000 off of a 19 year old and it had a JDM D15B VTEC block with a Y7 head (yeah, I know, but he didn't), the first thing I did was get a Z6 head, head studs, Cometic head gasket, new timing belt, water pump, tensioner, and I drove it like that for about a month before I installed an eBay turbo manifold just like that one, but it had a DSM T25 flange on it and it came with a perfectly good T25 turbo. I put that on and it spooled at like 2000 RPM, so it was about worthless, so I bought an Evo III big 16G turbo and it felt weak too, and that's when I bought an entirely new eBay kit and installed it. It was alot of fun on 8 psi, but I needed more torque, so I went with a B18B1. Now I have a fully built LSVTEC with a Garrett GT3582R dual ball bearing turbo that makes 588 whp. It's scary fast for me and I love it.
Hey brother I’ve watched this video multiple to study it, I’m now in the right position to turbo my integra, I haven’t bought anything yet because I feel Iike there’s something I should do before throwing a turbo kit on my engine, any help ? I heard a compression test ? Anything I’d need to upgrade first ? Or test out ??
For the oil send unit fitting, do you only use the tape on the side that screws into the block do you tape up the oil sender side and feed line side as well?
Hey i drive a 92 civic wit a d15b7 in it i want to boost it wit a turbo and i know theres more to it then just the turbo kit and hondata to tune it but wat else would you suggest for it to be a good sleeper. Thanks for the help
Thread tape is to lubricate threads, not seal them. Pipe threading is tapered, so it seals itself. The thread tape is simply used to get you tightened up without seizing.
Can I turbo my Sohc 89 civic? Its an automatic. Unfortunatley. It has 120,000miles on it. Also will i have to upgrade internals of the engine at all? I dont want to squeeze 400 horses out of it. I just want it to hit at least 150-200 horses. Its currently sitting at 92hp stock.
itll make around 215-225hp 10psi on 93 pump street tune though. around 15psi probably make 255-265hp. unless its the b20b itll make around 250hp 10psi on 93
Hey bro so nobody can seem to tell me all the parts I need to turbo my integra gsr... lol.. im buying a ebay turbo kit what else do I all need to be able to install it then drive it.. i want to be able to keep injectors and ecu stock and without a tune.. i have a chipped obd1 p28 in my car already and aem fuel rail and regulator blox intake manifold pls get at me bro every other channel seems to be to good for the viewers to reply back lol
Same. Came out of packaging like that unfortunately. I was worried about it so i verified it doesnt have any blockage. Flows good and under every possible position it may move in the engine bay itll be good. Another reason i prefer spending a little more on quality oil lines is because this wouldnt happen with a good line. Good catch :)
Compression test it if compression is good check fuel pressure could be a weak or failing injector or fuel leak somewhere just dealt with a similar problem where I had a cylinder not firing at all with a rebuilt motor
Jonathan Aban most likely not it’s a tight squeeze. I may be wrong but everyone I know with turbo integras, don’t have the A/C because of how tight it is. Its worth losing the A/C for a turbo in my opinion though haha.
5 years later and your still helping 💪🏽💪🏽best video exactly what I was looking for for 🐐🐐
Your explanation of how toos is always on point. Very well done as expected.
Thank you 🙏🙏
Oh and tell Yost to sell that Juke and buy a Honda 😆
Hahaha hes actually got a badass accord ! Soon itll be out
Yes I agree man well done on explaining everything bro
Nice one bro i have eg6 turbo swap H2BA7

To this day I can still keep watching a rewatching this video one of thee best.💪💪💪
The one handed filming is highly respected. As people like to explain with words on a video making website nowadays lmfaoo

You are an excellent communicator, I really enjoyed this video.
I waited the full 24 hours when I did my oil pan totally worth it!
Hey. This is a clean and clear video. Great job. Thanks 👍
Very descriptive and informative video
Shouldn't the turbo inlet be on driver side of the engine bay, maybe that's why the charge piping didn't fit.
Loved this. Going to be ordering my kit soon and I wanted to make sure I was prepared.
You get more oil pressure from the sending unit port instead of the oil filter side
Plus it’s cleaner oil
It has come a long way 👌

I boosted my Z6 and lost all oil pressure because i used another oil pan! Be sure to use ORIGINAL oil pan guys makes a difference .. good video
Awesome work bro

Great video and very informative! I am loving this channel!
Appreciate these videos bro! Thank you
The turbos backwards exhaust housing supose to be on pass side of the car that would allow you plenty room for the filter man but great video
Hilarious, the car outside looks horrible but the engine bay looks really clean, props for that
Bro! What did you drill the oil pan with? A pair scissors??? Lol 😳😳😳
fuck gotta go back to work will continue watching right after. sick vid
honestly best video ive seen on this thank you bro
Need more videos !! Keep em comin !
This dude is dope and i learned some new lol but turbo is my next build.. k20

Oil return in the sump pan seems a bit low.
Awesome video bro I'm liking those slicks

Your integra looks mean with that wheel setup.
Hey buddy I'm about to start a build
Anyway you could drop a entire list of what's needed for a turbo set up
Nicole Dunlap
A bottom end - bearings, pistons, rods, sleeves(if necessary)
An eBay kit should include a manifold, turbine, inter cooler and piping
Everything was on point.
Great video very well explained
awesome...can we see a budget sleeper build? love sleepers
Sweet! You gained a new sub!
What's the link for this turbo kit?
@sptunning where u install the turbowasgate vacuum lines ???
Beautiful video
Could you provided me a link on which kit was used? Thanks!
Nice work but with oil priming u want to crank until the oil light turns off before actually starting it that wasn't enough cranks honestly but if it works it works lol
You need a tripod and a actual camera but very good video man
waiting patiently for crv build...
Right thought the same
What color would u say that integra is ? Obviously red but what shade ? It looks sick
I’m swapping engine/tranny to a JDM type R b18c and go auto works turbo kit. Is it easiest to install the turbo kit or some of it on the engine before I drop it in or does it matter? Thanks
Good video bro keep it up
This isn’t for a turbo kit but if I were to modify the ac and push it forward could I have ac

I love how you explained everything. May I ask what part of florida are you located?
yea i need to know bc i wanna boost my teggy too
Nice work what part FL you in
What kind of screw is he using for the oil pan
Where did you get your spark plug wires and distributor bro?
For the oil send unit fitting, do you only use the tape on the side that screws into the block do you tape up the oil sender side and feed line side as well?
can i just put a turbo on my engine like he/you did or do i need to do things to my engine first ?
Yo Pablo I wonna run that, you got to setup up a race we got the same setup. I just got way more miles wonna see how my car will hold up.
Great vid

Can i get a link to the kit? Tryna turbo mine and i cant decide which one is the best
do you need injectors or anything else to even get use from the turbo ?
So what did u do for the brake booster vac hose normally on the intake manifold?
Can you help me out? I got a b18b1 Acura integra I wanna boost it but what turbo kit or parts should I order first to focus on it so it doesn’t blow
did it figure it out thinking about picking up one just like uours
How is this kit holding up?
any way you can link the turbo kit you used?
Planning on $670 cxracing turbo kit with ac on my ls swap ek with fmu cus Hondas make a shit load of power with lil boost.
Do I need to buy a new belt ?
You have the link to this kit papi ?
What did you do about that hole in the valve cover?
Did you run it with a stock fuel pump ?
Studs wit nuts 😭👌
How many miles does an engine has to have for it to install a turbo
Can I turbo my Sohc 89 civic? Its an automatic. Unfortunatley. It has 120,000miles on it. Also will i have to upgrade internals of the engine at all? I dont want to squeeze 400 horses out of it. I just want it to hit at least 150-200 horses. Its currently sitting at 92hp stock.
You can turbo anything, just run 470 injectors a small t3/t4 turbo and nothing more than 5-7 psi plus get a decent tune..
Would love to see some pulls from this car
How may I get my car done by this guy?
itll make around 215-225hp 10psi on 93 pump street tune though. around 15psi probably make 255-265hp. unless its the b20b itll make around 250hp 10psi on 93
If he goes E85 hell do 300-330 whp at 10-12lbs with 900cc injectors
First..... because race life :)))
Is it better to get a more expensive kit turbo than just getting an eBay one?
Always. You pay what you get for. But budget only allows for so much always. do what you can afford, but do it right
Would this work with the 4 door intregra???
Yep. As long as you got a motor and a turbo😂
Good job
Hey bro so nobody can seem to tell me all the parts I need to turbo my integra gsr... lol.. im buying a ebay turbo kit what else do I all need to be able to install it then drive it.. i want to be able to keep injectors and ecu stock and without a tune.. i have a chipped obd1 p28 in my car already and aem fuel rail and regulator blox intake manifold pls get at me bro every other channel seems to be to good for the viewers to reply back lol
Block guard and make 400? my teg made 417hp with over 250k on the block..
Nile_One sure it did
Haha
Block guard are garbage css is the wave
did the customer run arp headstuds?
Has it blown yet!
Damn good job
What injectors do u need?
Can you turbo charge the CRV and keep the all wheel drive
aru ehcare yes. Been done quite a few times.
Fit his tires to how he desires... *bars*
👍👍🔥🔥
Exelente!!!!!👍
Can i install turbo on my n.a engine..kia forte koup 1.6l dohc?
2slow
That crimp in the feed line makes me cringe
Same. Came out of packaging like that unfortunately. I was worried about it so i verified it doesnt have any blockage. Flows good and under every possible position it may move in the engine bay itll be good. SP Tuning good to know you checked it out first man. Nice install. Will you give an update video after charge pipe and hot side is fabbed up?
One of the cylinders sounds like its low on compression
Compression test it if compression is good check fuel pressure could be a weak or failing injector or fuel leak somewhere just dealt with a similar problem where I had a cylinder not firing at all with a rebuilt motor
Aayyy 🙌
eBay turbo kit link plz?
will i still be able to have a A/C even with a turbo kit?
Jonathan Aban most likely not it’s a tight squeeze. I may be wrong but everyone I know with turbo integras, don’t have the A/C because of how tight it is. Its worth losing the A/C for a turbo in my opinion though haha.
